  I have tried contacting GoFundMe several times. The robot gave me the exact answer time and time again. I finally was able to get a human text response to my question. Which lead to even more frustration. **** didnt understand my question. The whole contact us experience was a disaster. I am unable to navigate my fundraiser and update people, nor am I able to thank people. Come to find out, according to ****, that my GoFundMe account is under another email. But rather than immediately contacting a supervisor and figuring out if this is now a fraudulent account, **** apologized for me not feeling well, and hopes I feel well soon?! When I asked to speak to a human and a supervisor, **** texted me that they cant make phone calls right now. The whole 2 hour experience of texting with whomever **** is, was like going down a rabbit hole. My problem with my account just became more and more confusing. I have tried for a couple of months to contact GoFundMe, for various reasons. It has been a confusing process, there is no one to ask a question to. The only communication is via text. At this point Im really confused about the legitimacy of my fundraiser, if I cant sign in and navigate it, and its linked to another email than the one I originally set it up with? The only option I can come up with is deleting GoFundMe. And suggesting to others, to use a different crowdfunding source. If you happen to run into a problem, or have a question, its very difficult to get an answer.

  I saw a gentleman who has had a stroke . His daughter goes to school with my daughter. I donated ****** for his care. Go fund me took out ***** tip. I didnt authorize that. Want the ***** returned.

  I donated a large amount of money online to an organization with the knowledge GoFundMe would back my donation with their fraud guarantee protection program. After my claim was submitted, I was given an email informing me that my claim would require "a bit more," attention. In my claim, and over the course of not 2 days, I asked several questions while being asked to provide proof over 2 emails. They chose to end my case and not answer any of the questions I asked about the process. I asked for my questions to be answered and have since been left with all of my questions unanswered and my case closed, informing me to contact legal representation.GoFundMe doesn't have an actual fraud protection guarantee. They will not do due diligence to research a donated recipient for you, and will ask you to speculate is what I understand. Basically it does not matter what the person asking for donations lists in their own promises, and any promise made on GoFundMe is not a promise. I believe antitrust law would be applicable to GoFundMe in that they are leveraging their market power to perform abusive business practices.

  Go fund me states on their website that they have donor protection. But they are liars. A friend of mine lost his job and spouse within 2 months. An acquaintance of his set up a fundraiser on Gofundme and collected some money. Now she is refusing to give my friend almost half of the money. Both of us have put in complaints to Gofundme, yet they refuse to do anything about it. I have proof that she has not given him his funds. There is no way to talk to a human. They only have bots and email.
  I will NEVER donate to a Gofundme fundraiser again. They do not care to protect the vulnerable people who are being victimized on their website. You're better off putting money in a bottle and floating it out to sea, hoping it will get to the person you sent it to.

  Recently I helped a family that was displaced find a home and we raised 2880 to help them get out of the cold and in a home.. I found the home and can not get them to fix an issue on their end. One person was responding for 4 messages and since have ignored me for hours.. I can now only go through the same bot and its not leading to a solution. This family could be inside tonight but I cant get an answer out of the people holding this money hostage!!

  I keep getting told my funds are on hold due to an error engineers need to fix .You have led me on for over a ******* about to get evicted and telling me youll send a letter to my landlord wont help.Why not fix the issue??he wants his money he doesnt ******* terminally ill with four children and so stressed I cant take this *********** have no customer service ,no phone numbers and no one can give me an answer.

  I set up a GoFund Me for EMERGENCY rental assistance, I'm going to be homeless on December 1st if I can't withdraw my funds. There is no number to call and talk to a real person, the chat is no help, and I've only gotten one email correspondence that was nonhelp either. I need this released asap, I have 6 children!

  I started a gofundme for personal use and decided a couple of days into it that I need to work on myself first before I request help for a home on wheels. I requested the donations be refunded back and instead of refunding the donors, they transfered the funds to my chime account. I hadn't requested a transfer of funds at all. This in turn is charging me fees for something they should be doing for free on their end. It is the epitome of nickle and dimeing the consumer. It is already hard enough in the world it isn't ok of companies taking advantage of the consumer.

  I had a go fund me set up for me and my son because we lost my husband on October 25th. They have been dicking me around about getting the money transferred into my account. Because I am not the primary on the account they will not send the money to me. I even had a notarized letter from My Banks Vice President and they still said it wasnt enough. This is unacceptable. They told his cousin because my husband is dead and in the primary they can not process the money into the account. They have not been helpful what so ever. They are sending the money to his cousin who is thank god going to send me the money. But seriously f*** you guys. They are trying to keep all the money they raise and not give back to their families. They are a selfish company and dont even have a contact number and do everything through email. They are not caring. They are not helpful. They are a scam. 0 stars do not recommend.

  They are the worst. With no warning and without providing an opportunity to provide an explanation or correction, GFM canceled my fundraiser, refunded all donors, and closed my account. They did not give me the chance to download a list of donors. Absolutely unconscionable, unprofessional, and harmful to it's users.
