My experience with fitech fuel injection has been an absolute nightmare. Im hoping I can save someone else tons of time and headaches with this review. I purchased a 500 hp Ultimate LS Kit from fitech fuel injection. It has been nothing but problems. They send directions with the kit that leave out more than half of the install. They employ uneducated individuals in their tech department which is who youre supposed to call when you need help. Ive been told by their own employees that they employ people who dont know anything in the tech department. Ive been told to do the wrong thing called back and got laughed at by someone new when I tell them someone from fitech told me to do that. Then as if this hasnt been bad enough I get everything installed right and verify it with the one good employee in the tech department. Now the system fires up but the afr is way off so I call fitech again. They say send in a data log so I do. They tell me my MAP sensor is bad and send me a new one. Now the air fuel ratio is still off and the tech department is trying to say that my timing is off. I believe they are trying to avoid fixing the issue because if my timing was off why couldnt they tell me that a month ago when I sent the first datalog in. I did a little research before purchasing this kit but obviously not enough seeing how many others have had same or similar issues with fitech. They call themselves the leader in fuel injection and that is an absolute lie. Dont make the same mistake I did. $3k down a rabbit hole and my vehicle still doesnt move. If returning this system was still an option I wouldnt be writing this review. Ive been super patient. Ive given fitech the benefit of the doubt and tried to give them an opportunity to help me and they refused. I will update this review if fitech decides they want to help me make this right until then I hope I can save someone else the headache of considering a fitech product.FiTech Fuel Injection

Spent a month trying to get the system to work. Another month waiting to have the unit returned from fitech after needing the *** replaced. Then a couple more weeks continuing to try and getting the system to work. Including a few phone calls to technical support. A little over 2 months and almost $1,000 spent. I have given up and put the carburetor back on. Spend the extra cash up front for a ***** sniper if you really want EFI.FiTech Fuel Injection

****************, I apologize that you feel our product didn't meet your expectations. You sent you product in for inspection and we contacted you with our findings and we asked for proof of purchase which you never provided. After you few weeks you finally paid for repairs. We even waived the labor charge to help you out. The system was returned to you in perfect to new condition. I am confident that the issue in within the install and not the fuel injection system. If you would like I can have a Sr. **** reach out to you to help you with your instalation. I have the 600 ** bought in 2020 and now own the **** ** bought in 2021. I learned on the 600 and it was touchy for me. But as i learned the unit, it became easier to set it up. The **** was bolted on, a few parameters set and left alone and has performed flawlessly since. I think some of the issues are from people thinking they ***************** these on and drive away.FiTech Fuel Injection

I have FiTech Ultimate LS had damaged harness out of box since it was transmission wires I have 400 turbo. So I installed it ran good at idle and started smoking overloading with gas. Changed oil took it to a tuner he got it to run at very high idle. Ran but no power. Then started cranking hard and started smoking bad again then backfired and wouldnt start. ***** looked at it again. Said its engine problem now. Pulled valve covers and dropped a valve. Hole in piston to much gas. New engine I put in spent a lot of money on. Set everything it started up ran at idle no power. Drove it to my sons house now want start. Sounds like out of time starts first time for second shuts off then backfires so loud like an explosion. And dont want to drop another valve piston. Called fitech talked to someone and they tell me that Ive done all the things it says to do. Emails when they feel like getting back to you with same answers. I have spent ***** on the fitech and tuner and car is sitting If I could it would be off my car and back to summit where I purchased this unit that dont work and ask for my money back I feel I have went overboard trying to make this thing work. I guess Ill pay someone to take it off and take it back sense I have emails receipt and box it came in. I got this unit for clearance purposes so I didnt have to change my hood. Had I known what I would go through thousands dollars and my car sits ******************* if things work I praise it. If it dont I tell the truth. Put out before it was ready.FiTech Fuel Injection

Hi my name is ***********************, I bought the FiTech Fuel Injection for the Ls. I had a lot of problems With it Flooding. I bought 2 Different Regulators. I ran the fuel line's at least 10 different ways. I took peoples advice on different ways to connect it, and it flooded every time. So I got aggravated with it, so I went to a well known Speed Shop and I was telling him what I was doing. He asked what kind of system I have. I told him the wrong . I told him fuel tech. I showed him the book, then he told me it was FiTech. And that it was a piece of s*** **************** needs to be sued and out of business, Because it is junk. He said 4 people came in with the same system, with the same problem. So I left really ****** off. so I came home and called FiTech , and talked to a tech. named ****. If you have this problem call **** at *******. **** told me to get him 58 to 60 psi at the fuel rail, and that I had a program problem. So I laughed and told him I would call him the next day. he told me to make sure the battery was fully charged, and the alternator is putting out at least 12 volts. And he would have the car purring like a kitten. so the next day sitting in the car I called him .and had the hand held programer, so we started going down the list. I had everything programed right except the cubic inch . It is a 350 motor and the cubic Inch was programed at 427 and he said that was the problem. he said to set it on 350 and I did and It Purred like a kitten. I don't know what they are paying you ****, but they need to pay you a whole lot more. Yes i would buy it again. I am really satisfied with it. Scale from 0 to 10 , I rate it a 10+ an also ****. I bought fitech classic 550 hp and when received rite out of box had bad injector what is going on with that called fitech tech line surpose to send out new injector which I have to put in sooo sad ,,,(I been technician for over 30 yrs now )been a day now never received tracking number for new injector would never buy another one again and would never recommend it to any of my clients.i would tell to spend little more extra money and have no problemsFiTech Fuel Injection

****************, I apologize that you received a unit with an injector that stuck closed, in most cases these will open up under correct PSI and voltage being applied. After you called our TECH line, we issued an order for a new injector to be shipped out to you at no cost to expedite the repair since you have a technical background and stated you could handle replacing the injector. We would have been more then pleased to bring the system in for repair at no charge to you. The order was placed on the 2nd of November, part shipped on the 3rd, and you received the part today the 6th of November. This order was shipped out on a two-day express package, unfortunately we can NOT controller the weekend time delay caused by the shipping company. Terrible product, I got the system installed and wired up as per the instructions and it wont run worth a ****, stumbles and stalls every couple seconds and when I turn the idle s**** up high enough for it to run it sits at **** rpm and belches black smoke out the tailpipe from running rich. I put my carburetor back on and it puts like a kitten. Called several times with just about every tech support person they have on payroll and none of them could figure it out. One guy said I have vacuum leaks so I redid my top end. Still the same s*** I insisted that they sent me a faulty unit and now Im waiting on a call back from the warranty department. While waiting for the call back I quickly installed a ****** Sniper EFI unit (can swap between the two units in minutes) and it runs like a dream! I wasted three whole days troubleshooting this pile of c*** and I cant bill my customer for the time spent on it so now Im backed up at the shop and out a whole load of money. I see these guys at all the local shows and theyre decent people and I feel bad having to trash them like this but seriously this situation wasnt handled professionally and ** taking a huge hit for it.FiTech Fuel Injection

Our Sales Desk provided our Sr. **** ******* Information yesterday (10/3/2023 just before 2:00 PM) This is the report from our Sr. **** : " he (******) couldnt get the system to run and wanted a refund. I reached out to the customer immediately and spoke to him about the issues he was having. He said the system wouldnt run well at startup, was billowing black smoke, and when he installed a carb back on the engine the engine ran fine. I took a clue off of the billowing smoke that the system was missing a correct reading and asked about the engine where I found out that its a stock 289. ****** mention speaking with tech support and they recommend performing a throttle adjustment. He said the engine would barely run unless it got up in RPM but that he noticed vacuum was still at ZERO. This is when I mentioned a vacuum leak and explained how it would effect the system if it was on the map sensor port. He insisted there were no vacuum leaks so I offered a call tag to ship the system or if he brought us the unit I would run it immediately. ****** approved to bringing us the unit and was here at 7:00 am (10/4/2023) where I pulled out the 327, took his ***** system flipped it over and showed him the *** sensor ports that I think the vacuum leak is on, then installed it on the engine. Once installed I showed him how to setup the system in the handheld, found that Cal Unlock was Enabled, and then fired up the engine. I let the system come to temp and during that I showed him how to adjust AFR settings, discussed his intake and the vacuum leak, which distributors work with the system, and what the vacuum port on the throttle body do. Once the engine was warmed up I showed ****** how to adjust the *** steps and then set the initial setup for His engine. Once finished I provided my business card and said reinstall the system and focus on the vacuum port for the *** sensor and make sure its sealed. If the engine runs clean with a carb then it will run perfect with the *** system as long as you get a vacuum reading to the system. Im looking forward to hearing from him on how the engine is running when he gets the system back on the vehicle."We responded to ****** right away, ran his system here on a motor in front of ******. Our Sr. **** handed his personal business card and said to call him if he has any issues. Since this complaint we even offered to bring the car in so we can diagnose what is wrong with the install. Waste of money. I bought a full master kit. Hooked up couldn't get it to work. Did all the test they said in endless emails.send unit back in come to find out. The fuel pump was junk....unit isn't even a year old less than 50miles on it. Now it doesn't work, no handheld on etc.....still under warranty. But I emailed Fitec just to start this endless emails,( already on 23rd one). So yeah I guess like last time I had a problem maybe 60 emails and a month later I will get help from them.FiTech Fuel Injection

I bought a car with the 1200hp model fitech efi. Drove it for three days and had an injector go bad. Bought an injector from fitech still processing after a week. Needed it running for tomorrow still hasn’t even shipped. Asked fitech when they will ship my part and they said they had it and it would be that afternoon I’d get an email with my tracking code. That was tuesday. It is now Thursday. I finally spent extra from jegs to get it here overnight yesterday. Drove it to make sure it ran right. For an hour it ran alright at most. Turned it off and turned it back on ran worse. On my way home it died and now says no ecu response. Read some trouble shooting and now I’m expecting my ecu to be bad. So not only do I feel their quality is garbage their customer service is just as badFiTech Fuel Injection

I apologize in getting your product delivered to you in a timely manner. As of right now the injector is being delayed by USPS. The order was placed 10th of June and shipped on the 15th.
As far as the issues you are having now with no ECU response, it looks like you purchased a used unit that we have NO history on. We will be more then willing to inspect the unit and if it is a FiTech issue we will be more then happy to help you out.
