I ordered 8 ***** cemani chicks + 4 suprizes. They came months after they were suppose to. Received all dead. They raised the price and wanted to give me a credit at the old price. I argued and received chick for chick replacement all dead. Reordered and received 4 dead, 4 live. Three more died in the first 3 days. Very small weak chicks. The one that lived is black but small and not of type. I used my credit for bielefelders, an auto sexing breed, received a rooster and 3 hens and a double silver laced chick and two dead chicks. One of the hens doesnt look correct and of course one is not even what I ordered. Lots of run around, incorrect birds sent, weak and not well bred chicks for LOTS of money. I bought from them expecting premium birds. Also the cream legbars they sent, some are ***********************! Just dont buy from these jokers. Really, just dont.

This is a horribly run business that scams people for money. They have a Live Arrival Guarantee. I paid $500 for 9 chicks. Three lived. I have since been in communication with the Feather Lover Farms staff and explained things 3 times to their staff and every time they confuse details and give me the run around. Ive been told I would receive replacements but have not. Ive been chewed out by multiple people over email and live chat. I have been told ** being threatening or wrong, and EVERYONE at their company is confused about the details of my situation. They love using the excuse that they are a small family run business. But how can you be a small family business when no one knows what is going on with your order, who you are, who you talked to previously on their staff, and you are being chewed out by different people because you are simply asking for what you paid for OR even just an estimated time of arrival for a replacement order. I will update this if I receive my replacement order of 6 live chicks. I plan to file fraud charges against them with my Bank too like someone else below here described and said it helped their situation with Feather Lovers Farms. If that doesnt work then Im taking them to small claims court. If I was a one off instance thats one thing, but apparently this is what FLF does according to all the bad reviews online that Im now reading! Dont ever buy from them! There are so many more honest, kind, well run farms that sell chickens are that you can buy from!

This customer ordered chicks for March ship month. Demanded we send them February. We sent them February and unfortunately **** delayed shipment with freezing temps and there were a couple losses. We offered to refund her the chicks that did not survive or replace them as soon as our hens possibly allow. Egg production is slow right now due to winter storms and cold temps lately and the customer demanded we send asap or she would leave bbb reviews. We offered this persona full refund and she told us she did not want a refund she wants the chicks that did not survive replaced. We are more than willing to replace them if she can wait until we have the chicks available but the nonstop threats from her makes us want to simply refund her and part ways. We will gladly speak to this person over the phone if she likes but I am not sure what else we can do for her. We have offered her a refund multiple times and she keeps calling us fraud? Most businesses would be done doing business with this person that keeps threatening us, especially when she demands chicks shipped over a refund which we have offered her. She is unreasonable and I am not sure what else we can do for her. Why would someone keep demanding her chicks ship when we are offering to refund her or she can wait until we hatch her chicks this month and have them shipped She is making us lose here wither way and all we can do is let others know the situation. We want all of our customers to be happy with us. Unfortunately she is not willing to receive a refund from us or understand that sometimes there's orders ahead of hers and she needs to wait a little until we hatch and ship her chicks in winter.

I debated on responding to this. And waited to respond seeing as Ive been so angry how about how brutally this company ripped me off and treated me. There is just too many lies/twisted facts for me to respond to the above false statements. Apparently this is how this business operates lies and confusion. Sounds like a narcissist. Everything I say is twisted and turned around and back fires some how. I asked several times to not be refunded because of worry of shipping costs and instead receive the live chicks guaranteed per FLF own policy. I spent $500 on 9 chicks, and received 3 alive. They only refunded me $282 for the 9 chicks of the $500. Which means I paid $218 for the 3 live chicks. When I asked for clarification I was met with a rude reply stating it was shipping costs. Thats literally why I didnt want a refund and live chicks instead And I explained that several times.Even after writing this all. Im still seeing these negative reviews on BBB and other independent platforms about FLF roll in. Its wild that they can be in business and treat people this way. Im guessing the couple that owns the business will respond with some other messed up version of reality after I post this. Additionally having shared my experience with other chicken people in state completion circles and groups Im learning that FLFs are actually well known for having beautiful, but inbred birds, and s******* people over.

We do not have any orders from this person. We love our customers but unfortunately there always a few bad apples when dealing with thousands of awesome customers yearly. This is obviously a competitor and do not have the right to leave a review when you are not a customer of ours...

This place is quite frankly absolutely ridiculous! I’m October I ordered 11 chicks, 3 Ayam Cermani, 2 Lavender silkies ( which are absolutely ridiculously over priced), 3 polish and 3 Lavender Americanas on 10/4/22. On 11/18 I get an email stating the lavender silkies have not layed yet and the Americana Olive layers have not either but they could send blue eggers instead. I said fine no problem and I wouldn’t mind waiting just a little bit for the silkies to lay. The next day they sent what chicks they had to me but unfortunately got to me in two days time instead of the 1 day shipping I payed extra for. I received those chicks, one Ayam Cermani was dead upon arrival ( I get it can happen with 2 day shipping) but another looked extremely ill and passed over night. I emailed them on 10/21 letting them know one was DOA and other died overnight. Never heard from them until 10/30 for them to tell me a few lavenders were hatched but I may or may not get those and if not they would be sent out no later than 2 weeks… well of course I heard absolutely nothing and on 11/21 I emailed them just checking on the status of my chicks that were owed. In response I received that the lavenders have stopped laying due to colder temperatures and they usually slow down this season. THEN WHY HAVE THEM AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE SHIP OUT WITH IN THE MONTH YOU ORDER THEM!!?? So at this point I just asked for a refund because now my other chicks are over a month old. That was on 11/21… On 12/6 I received a response again with “sorry for the delay”, with another sob story and they will only offer me a 50% refund until 1/4, so at this point I’m pretty pissed. So I wait till then, sent another refund email. The response this time was we don’t do refunds BUT it “just so happens” we have your chicks and we are sending them tomorrow. And here I am today. I spent $800 on this order and the way they handle their business and response time is absolutely ridiculous. Don’t waste your money or time!

We purchased 4 Ayam Cemanis from them in March. We have 12 other chickens and some are 3 years old. We slowly lost all 4 of our Cemanis who all seemed to have some kind of neurological issue. The last one just became lame today with all other chickens having zero symptoms. I think there is something wrong with the breeding process and we did pay extra for mareks vaccine. The last one is currently 35 weeks old. Very unhappy.

Hi there,We have zero emails from this person stating any of this. If you have an issue, email us and see what we can do to help you out. You are accusing us of sending diseased birds when we are tested by the usda for the last 8 years now and a clean disease free flock. We can't control if your chickens don't survive to adulthood, that is on you. Had you of emailed us your bad luck, we would help you out with more chicks. Our chicks thrive here on our farm and usually for our customers as well so we aren't sure why your birds died after being a few months in your care.
