I was told by the sales person that Quick Quack was running a sale for $9.99 a month for 1 year. The first month I paid $9.99 but the second month I was charged $35.99. I want the difference returned to my account and will never do business with Quick Quack again!!!Business Response

We apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding. The promotion you are referring to was advertised in all signage, print, and social media posts as an introductory offer of "$9.99 for the First Month of our Unlimited Membership". All advertising also denotes that pricing returns to normal on the 2nd month. Our membership is a subscription that does auto-renew as our pricing boards and advertising state. When every account is created the customer signs the terms and conditions on the iPad in order to activate the account. We also immediately email the membership information which includes all the details of the membership such as the renewal date and the renewal price, our cancellation policies, and the terms and conditions to the customer when the account is created. We try to do everything possible to be clear with our customers. We apologize for any misunderstanding that occurred during your visit. Our customer care team did receive your email regarding this issue and cancelled the account on 11/15/23 with access to the wash still allowed until 12/11/23.Initial Complaint

I had an incident during a car wash, where there machine stopped which end up being back car hitting my cars rear bumper. They have a practice of keeping cast very close which is why this happened. I have called them 3-4 times but they are not willing to help to cover repairs of my car. This happened on October 20th 2023.An incident was created by them but no answer backBusiness Response

Hello ****** - we apologize for any frustration you have experienced. We did thoroughly investigate this incident. The footage of this incident shows that the tesla was not in neutral as instructed. The footage shows that the wash did not stop, nor were there any equipment issues, as your complaint implies. There was no malfunction of the wash to cause or contribute to this incident. This incident was caused when the tesla stops due to driver intervention causing this incident. Upon entering the wash every customer is given the safety instructions to 1) Place the vehicle in neutral 2) remove your hands from the wheel, and 3) remove your foot from the brake. When these instructions are followed your vehicle will be pushed along through the tunnel in a safe manner until the directional signage at the end of the wash instructs you to "go" at which point you will place the vehicle in drive again and exit safely. Unfortunately, these safety instructions were not followed in this case causing this incident. The wash did not malfunction in any way during your visit and the damage caused was due to driver error. Footage of this incident was provided to the customer with the claim. Like a normal traffic incident, the driver whose actions caused the incident would be responsible for any damages. Unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for damage that was not caused by the wash. We wish you the best.Initial Complaint

On 11.4.23 at approximately 8:20am we went through the drive thru with no damages to our vehicle and came out with half of our bumper hanging off. I asked Manager ** to come take a look at my vehicle and when he walked over he immediately said oh yeah we didn't do that. We started to record him and he then advised that he would review the video. He then claimed that it was in tact until it went through the blower and the blower blew it off so it must have been broke already. We have been a customer for a few years and never had an issue. The blower has always been extremely aggressive which I can understand why it needs to be. However it caused damage and we simply just want it fixed. Manager ** denied any wrong doing from the beginning.Business Response

We apologize for any frustration you have experienced and that you disagree with the outcome of your claim; however, as our store leader explained this claim was denied due to pre-existing damage in the area claimed. We have attached 2 photos of the vehicle prior to entering the wash with 2 areas of pre-existing damage circled. It is in these 2 exact areas that the panel came off under the blowers. Unfortunately we cannot attached the video of the incident to this claim as it is too large for BBB; however, the video was provided to the customer at the time of the claim. The video does show that the panel comes off under the blowers when nothing is in physical contact with the vehicle. This could only occur if the part was previously damaged and unsecured.
As our signage at the entrance of the car wash states, We are only responsible for items that are factory-installed, secured, undamaged, and on vehicles that are less than five years old."
Nothing malfunctioned during your wash to cause this incident so unfortunately, we cannot accept responsibility for this incident since it does fall in line with incidents that can occur with previously damaged and unsecured parts and is advised by our signage before you enter the wash. We apologize for any frustration you have experienced and wish you the best.

I have been going to quick quack for years and I am a loyal member. I know how to pull into the wash and put it in neutral and let it take me through.
Im not confused about this process.
The new employee lining me up had trouble and lining me up and I knew you would see this on the video. She even asked me through the driver window to reverse as she was sending me through and turned to other employees for help. I was always in neutral. The only reason I wouldve put my hand on wheel is in response to instructions from employee or getting rear ended in the wash.
I wonder if you have the right vehicle on the video because I know you wouldve clearly seen this problem the employee was having?
I didnt get put on the track correctly.
I would appreciate if you could review again.

Thank you for your assistance with this matter and for facilitating communication with Quick Quack Car Wash regarding the inadvertent charges applied to my account.
I acknowledge Quick Quack Car Wash's response and the partial refund of $95.97 that has been processed. However, I am writing to reject the business response because it does not fully resolve the issue. The refund received does not cover the entire amount that was mistakenly charged.
While I appreciate the gesture Quick Quack has made by refunding a portion of the charges, I must emphasize that there remains an outstanding amount of $80.00, which represents additional erroneous charges of $20.00 per month for the unauthorized addition of my car to the monthly plan.
My husband has independently disputed the charge for August with our credit card company, but this does not address the separate issue of the $20.00 monthly charges for my vehicle that was wrongfully added to an account that did not belong to us.
For full resolution and to close this complaint satisfactorily, I am requesting that Quick Quack Car Wash process a refund for the remaining $80.00 that has been unjustly billed. Once this refund is completed, I would be happy to accept the business's response and consider the matter resolved.

My car paint use to be in really good shape.. I figured it would be much easier to get a membership to a car wash.. Quick Quack was close so i figured i would give them a shot.. i been going there for like 4 months... i only go there twice a month.. My paint now feels like sand paper.. it also faded the paint on the roof of my car.. I can't get the contaminates out of the paint.. I paid them money only to damage the paint.. We have reviewed all of our past incident reports for this time and found that there was never an incident report filed with the location. We do not have any record or any email or phone call to customer care regarding this concern. There are also no public reviews on any social media platform regarding this concern. This customer did continue their membership with us and continue to use the wash until 3/1/24.
We can assure you that we are committed to always doing everything possible to ensure the safety of every vehicle that travels through our wash. We wash hundreds of vehicles each day without incident, but in the rare case of damage, we always thoroughly investigate each claim. At Quick Quack, we use the latest technology and a brushless system utilizing a combination of soft-cloth and neoprene foam (scuba suit material) in order to be safer on your cars finish. In the rare case that wraps in the wash were to damage a vehicle, the pattern of damage would be expected to follow very specific patterns matching the motion and action of the equipment used. In the rare case of damage, it would appear as short repeating linear marks along the full length of the vehicle along the path of the wrap. We do have our damage claim policy posted in multiple locations at every facility including at the entrance of the wash. As our signage at the entrance of the car wash states, We are only responsible for items that are factory-installed, secured, undamaged, and on vehicles that are less than five years old. Also, antennas should be removed or retracted. Even with this policy, we will investigate any claim of damage to ensure that there was no malfunction of the wash that caused or contributed to the incident. We always try to work with every customer for a resolution.
