On July 10 2023 I used the new Quick Quack car wash at ****************************** in ****,**. They were signing customers up for memberships, but this was my 1st time to use it so I only paid for 1 wash. The brush broke the wiper arm off my driver's side windshield. When I exited the car wash I immediately reported it to the site Mgr.who filled out a report and gave me a copy.I was told to call the # on the report if I hadn't heard back in 3 business days. I have called 3 times. Once 7/13/23, ***** said she would contact site Mgr then to call again in 3 days if I'd not been contacted and she would involve regional Mgr. Called on 7/18/23, spoke with ******,was put on hold then call was disconnected. Called right back,spoke with ***** who said ******* had re-sent *****'s email to regional Mgr so I should wait to hear back.I sent an email to the Quick Quack ******** page, was told to email their consumers ***** Still not heard from anyone. My mechanic's written estimate is $119.00 to replace the wiper arm. I didn't expect a $11.99 car wash to end up costing so much and am very disheartened by their lack of response.Business Response

Due to normal wear and tear, we normally dont cover parts on vehicles older than five years. Even though Ms. ********* vehicle is a **** Dodge, our Store Leader made an exception, ordered the part, and communicated that to *********************

Our goal is to make our customers experience as enjoyable as possible and, in this case, we have accommodated our customer by ordering the part.

My vehicle was rear ended while in the carwash in the *******, ** location (************** and I-80). The employee on duty stated the customer behind me pulled in too far onto the conveyor and his vehicle was not in neutral. An incident report was filed and I asked for a copy of the video. Per the bottom of the report and according to the employee, I would receive a call within 3 days of the incident. I'm at day 12 and have not received a call from anybody at Quick Quack acknowledging the incident, despite me calling customer care daily asking for a call back. Their customer care agents have promised phone calls from a manager, district manager, area manager and call center supervisor but I've gotten no contact at all. I'm beyond frustrated and would like a copy of the video before it's no longer available. I feel like my requests are being ignored due to their lack of response and I'm tired of getting brushed off. I have used quick quack on and off since they came to our area. They have a decent car wash that is convenient and the free vacuuming is a solid plus.I will also state that I am not one to leave bad reviews or bash a company due to a bad experience while getting the service. I believe that all things can be made right, and given the opportunity, an ethical business will make things right.I have recently fell upon difficult *************** and needed to cancel my membership. Like many have had happen to them before, I had forgotten to cancel online. I was then charged for my monthly subscription of $35.99.When I called to see what could be done to help me (3 days later and not having used their service in that time) a longtime customer of *********************************************, in this situation, I was told by a customer service representative that there was nothing they could do to help.She said to me Its in our terms and conditions, sorry you didnt read them with a condescending tone, effectively letting me know that she could care less about my situation and would not let me speak to a supervisor. Although this made me boil with frustration, I politely let her know that I did not appreciate being talked down to in that manner and asked if thats how they treat their loyal customers, she said yes.The unwillingness to help in any small way and lack of empathy from a customer service representative was extremely disappointing and is more than enough to make me never want to use quick quack car wash ever again once I have the funds to reactivate the subscription.Regardless of what your terms and conditions are, not working with someone who calls in to politely ask for help when they are experiencing financial hardship is just unfortunate.Business Response

the manager name ****** called and was very unprofessional, said that our claim cant be accepted due to preexisting damages, which is not true we used car wash in *********** for 8 months and blower there didnt blow our back bumper, I clearly heard loud bang at the back thinking that another car hit us, but no it was blower again as we had same damages 9 months prior but they fixed in *********** location and we used car wash every week without any damages accept that day when we were in different part of town and unfortunately used Quick Quack Car wash on staples under management of ******. I am very disappointed with things handled by this car wash as we didnt have this issue with other location at *********** .
I hope you understand our frustration, and I reach to head quarters and they never called back or emailed, like our problem no matter for them.Business Response

After a year of reaching out for damage on my car, I finally received a call back from an employee today 7/28 around 9:30am saying that QQ was denying my claim for car damage, even though I have the employee recorded saying the damage was caused by their wash, among photos and emails and text messages saying they would "take care of me". When I showed all of this evidence to the newest manager and brought this up, I was told the scratches didn't 'look' to be from their wash, and that the statement that they would "take care of me" did not mean my car. I will now be filing with insurance and possibly filing property damages based on my discussions with the insurance company which are already in motion as of 9:36am. This is for the ********* location on State Street, and my claim number with QQ is still available and the slip is preserved. Throughout the 3 managers I have gone through and 1 year of getting quotes, calling, texting, emailing - and they deny it. With belittling insinuation about lying nonetheless.Business Response

I have been a QQ member for exactly a month and unfortunately due to some apparent inconsistencies in ************* policies in ******* location by ************** (from what I had been told by HQ), my family and I are so unsatisfied with how we are being served. When I signed up for our family unlimited membership last month, nobody explained the policy about roof racks and baskets transparently and all I was asked for was my full name and credit card information. In the first two weeks I had no issues with my car wash experience until about 10 days ago when one of your staff called "Guy" refused to wash my ****** with a basket attached to the roof. Right after that, I called HQ and they said they emailed you (*******************************) to contact me ASAP. I waited a few days but did not receive any calls from you. I contacted HQ again (two days later) and they said they put a note for you to call me back but again I did not. I went to another location and they had no problem washing my car with the basket on (they said they have the Top Retract option for situations like mine). Two days later, I went to your location and there was some other staff (other than Guy) and he let me go with the Top Retract option with no problem. However, today I went to your location and again *** refused me by having the basket on. Unfortunately, it seems like, either your policies vary from location to location OR you all are not familiar with the company's common policies and do not make them transparent to your members. I live a block from your location and that is the only reason I had to drive there otherwise I would not and would avoid the stressful experience I find at *************. The first time *** refused the service, there was another Grey SUV ******* 4runner with a roof basket on the roof) in front of me and they let it go but not my vehicle. I just do not understand what is wrong with having the Top Retract option where the roller brush does not wash the roof (top)Business Response

I went to Quick Quack car wash on Monday, July 17, 2023. I have been to ** many times previously. I just bought my 2017 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon in May 2023. It was in immaculate condition. I did have a snorkel install** the day before but thought nothing of it, as I have never had an issue with ** before. I have been using them for 2 yrs. As I was moving through the wash, the brush that comes down over the vehicle, slamm** into the windshield and snorkel, pushing the Jeep backwards. It then also lift** and pull** on the snorkel. My windshield then popp** and shatter**. The brush then swung back again and slamm** once more on my snorkel and windshield before finally moving up and over my vehicle. I imm**iately notifi** the attendant and manager on duty...******* and ****. I also had call** a friend, ***** on video chat. He witness** the entire conversation with ******* and ****. The first thing that the ** employees said was that it was their fault. They should've put a '** code' in for the snorkel. Then ******* admitt** to seeing the snorkel as I enter** the wash and that it was in perfect condition. I point** out how shatter** the window was(all the way through to the interior of the vehicle). I also not** to them that the cowl was bent and the snorkel was damag**. I point** out that the decal I have on the windshield would also ne** to be replac**....along with registration and my beach pass. They nodd** in agreement and said they would let their manager know. They said they would have her call me back the next day. No one call** me. I had to reach out to their customer service line on Tuesday, who said they would email the mgr. Nothing heard back on W**nesday. I went back to the location on W**nesday evening. Spoke to **** again, who then gave me *****'s card with her cell. He said he would have her call me. I show** him that day, as well that the cracks had now spider-** across the entire windshield.Nothing heard on Thursday. I call** *****'s phone on Friday several times and it went to Vm. Her VM was full. I then sent her a text. No response. I drove back to the site on Friday. Again, ***** was not there. Spoke to **** once again. Got the Regional Manager(*****) info and left her a VM. Finally, about 4:30pm on Friday afternoon, ***** call** me back. She said she had been waiting to hear back from her ppl about what could be done. She said it was an aftermarket part and that I should have told them. I explain** that as a customer....we don't know what we don't know. It is their job, as the business to look at the vehicle thoroughly to see what codes ne** to be add**. She said she would call me back on Saturday morning...but assur** me that she was going to take care of me. I got a call Saturday morning from *****. She said they were going to replace the windshield and nothing else. She also said it would not be through a dealership....so not a Jeep windshield. I had an original Jeep windshield and I expect the same back. She said that we could go halves on that. I told her that is not how this works. We then address** the snorkel. She said that because it is aftermarket, it is not cover**. She said I should have told them. Again, I remind** her that as a consumer, we don't know the ins and outs of their business. They are the professionals and should've seen it to place the correct code. I also remind** her that the decals, registration and beach pass were on there, as well. She said that the ppl they use for the windshield will put the registration and beach pass back on. I explain** that when I had a windshield replac** before they were only able to tap them back on. And the decal, 'MoMMA FREEDOM' was made custom and paid to install, as well.I also remind** her that the cowl was bent. She said she didn't know about that and she would have to review video to make sure that it wasn't bent before. She said it wasn't on the incident report and that I had sign** that. I told her to look again, because I never sign** anything. I told her I would gladly send her a picture from the night before. (It is a time stamp** photo from my FB page, the night before). You can clearly see that the cowl is bent upward almost an inch. I also remind** her via text that I was on video chat with *****, while I spoke to **** and *******. He heard them accept fault and say that they should've plac** the ** code in the system. He also ************************* say that he saw the snorkel, coming in and that is was in perfect condition.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:
The windshield was replaced yesterday. However, the snorkel has still not been replaced. Waiting on response from Mgr about that. The mgr and I have also discussed getting a refund of last month($39.99) since I only used the service the one time... Which was the time my vehicle was damaged. This refund would cover the cost of the new windshield decal and installation. I'm still waiting on that refund, as well. If I don't make the calls to follow up... Things would never get done. QQ is definitely not trying to follow through on their own.

Took my car to the wash when it came out of the wash the top of my car, hood and trunk were scratched and discolored and felt like it rubbed the top coat of my paint off. I took it to the manager and she blatantly ignored it and said oh your car is old and has sun damage, which its a 2018 and had no sun damage, and then said oh your hood has tons of writing on it, when clearly it did not. Just scratched from there car wash. She showed me videos of my car where it clearly was not damaged. She refused to show me videos of the day it happened and instead showed me a video from April 2023 when the incident happened July of 2023. She refused to show me my car going in the car wash and out of the car wash that day that the damage happened. The way she made up stuff that clearly is not true as we look at the car and refusing to show the video shows she knows the damage happened and is just refusing to fix it.Business Response

This incident report # is156146. I took my car to get washed. 2019 *************** When I was drying it I noticed that the navigation antenae cover was missing. I immediately filed a written complaint. Went a couple of times to speak with a manager, one was never available. They claim they are not responsible because I should have put my antenae down. I sent them pictures showing that there is no way to put the antena down. Attached are pictures.They are claiming they are not responsible. They have signs posted stating they are responsible for: factory installed, secured,undamaged and less than five years old. I need help making them to take responsibility of my loss. My rear bumper was damaged by the car behind me while in the wash. The car progressively got closer to my car through the length of the wash. My car stopped at the blow station and the car behind me made contact with my bumper creating several scratches.Business Response

My claim was accepted as being the fault of quick quack car wash for vehicle damage, however I was told to take my car to their auto repair shop and gave no mention of transportation compensation while vehicle is being repaired. I want to take my vehicle to a repair shop that I choose and be compensated for a rental car so o am able to get to work while my car is being fixed.
