    I asked them to opt my information out and followed their steps and then received a vague email they could not verify me. I never authorized them to share my information so should not have to opt out. This is a scam and I need them to remove my information asap.

    FamilyTreeNow has obtained my ******al information old and new and has it posted on their website. I do not know how they received it as I make it a point to keep my ******al information private. I did not provide it to them nor did I give them or any other platform permission to use it (I am very thoughtful of this). I do not feel comfortable or safe with my information being so freely accessible to all who may be looking for it or that may stumble upon it. I have submitted a request to them for removal but it did not work, I followed up today with a request via email to have it removed and hope to have a response soon. I can see that I am not the first ****** to take issue with this, I hope to have it removed easily with my second request but if that fails (as it seems to happen often) I hope that you all may be able to assist me in protecting my privacy.     I have been trying to remove PII (Personally Identifiable Information) from this website and their opt out tool WILL NOT WORK. It keeps saying "Your opt out request could not be processed due to an error. Please try again by refreshing your browser, or go back and click optout button again. (Another option is to try again in an hour or so, it will probably be working.)" But no matter how many hours pass or what email is tried, the same error message persists.     You sound like a parrot. Let's start with a few issues here: 1) This is YOUR website, and YOU have the ability to remove any data from it. 2) I don't care what you define as PII, there are MULTIPLE legal statutes that define PII, and the information in someone's marriage and divorce records ABSOLUTELY can be classified as PII, even if the records themselves can be publicly accessed. 3) No one gave you the right to use such data to post online. Using public records for financial gain, which clearly YOU are doing by running a website with ad revenue, could be considered fraudulent activity. Hopefully you disgusting DATA BROKERS get shut down as you contribute to the growing TOXIC culture in this country where people's personal data is sold for profit and enables an unsafe environment (such as stalking, identity theft, cyberbullying, etc.). Don't bother responding to my message. Shame. Shame. Shame on all of you who participate in this corrupt business. Shame. Shame. Shame.

    I have continued to ask them to remove my information from all search engines as it is a security threat to ******* husband. My phone # is still listed with them when you use the Yahoo search engine to insert my ************ #. I have asked them to remove this multiple ************ send an auto message email. There is no phone # to contact them, it is automated as well.
