I borrowed this money knowing it was crazy interest rate. I sent three checks off the same day from ******** to ********** to pay off my debts. Everyone else has received their payments. What do you know not this company it could take a additional 15 days to apply so they can draw the per diem out even longer. What POSOportun, Inc.

Do not do business with them, I accidentally paid my credit card twice from my checking account. They only refunded one, they tried to issue a check that bounced because they would not verify it, and my bank closed my account because of it. They are still charging me interest and asking for payments when I never even received my $920 back, they put the balance back on my credit card. Its affected my credit score and my whole Life. I got denied my dream apt when I was trying to Move because it dropped my score so low. Its August and this matter hasnt been resolved since April. Run run run they are thievesOportun, Inc.

I got approved for a loan for a load on July 7, 2024. They transferred the loan to an account that is not mine. I made the report I week after not receiving anything. I called multiple times and for some reason, they have not solved anything. Its August 1st tomorrow and they already reminded me of submitting my 1st payment, without receiving the funds. Is there any department that can solve this ERRORS. The agents only take notes without on the issue,Oportun, Inc.

Called for a payout Loan paid in full / closed. Then I received a call telling me I have a missed payment..69 dollars missed payment..now they want 189 to closed the account... won't work with me even though they made the mistake and took the payout and didn't mention then the missed payment...I offer to pay the 69 dollars owed but they can't work with me....Oportun, Inc.

Unethical Practices: Company's Refusal to Close Credit Card Account Opened Fraudulently.Rating: 1/5 Review:I am deeply disappointed and appalled by the unethical practices of Oportun. Recently, I discovered that someone had stolen my identity information and opened a credit card account in my name without my consent. Despite providing all the necessary evidence to prove that I am a victim of identity theft, Oportun has shockingly refused to close the fraudulent account.The process of dealing with identity theft has been stressful and emotionally draining, yet Oportun has only added to my ordeal by failing to take appropriate action. Their refusal to close the account not only jeopardizes my financial well-being but also demonstrates a blatant disregard for customer security and satisfaction.I have made numerous attempts to resolve this matter with Oportun, but their customer service representatives have been unhelpful and unsympathetic. It is incomprehensible that a company would prioritize its interests over the security and rights of victims of identity theft. I urge anyone considering doing business with Oportun to think twice. Their lack of accountability and disregard for victims of identity theft make them unfit to be trusted with sensitive financial information. 1 starLess than 1 star. Oportum is a credit card company that cannot be relied upon. I had an account with them and they closed it without permission saying it was due to inactivity. I do not recommend getting involved with this company.
