This company delivers false promises and don't do business fairly. They don't report to credit bureau on a timely fashion and the don't do the process fairly. Stay away from them as the won't help your credit score because they could careless.

I paid off my loan on 3/25/24 received my payoff email and today I was about to delete the app on my phone and I have a balance on the account because its some fees cant be added until you paid off so I payoff my balance again so hopefully its the last time of hidden fees show up again Seriously not recommended Someone has to review they methods Imagine if I dont check the account How much fees this people are charging to customers like meOportun, Inc.

1 starI called in after paying card in full and requested to have conformation sent in email, they refused to do that, I asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on. I called back requested again for email conformation as everything on my account was done thru email and was again refused and was refused a conformation number on closure of the account. i would not reccomend this company to anyone not even if you are trying to rebuild your credit as I was. Interest rate is through the roof, website is minimal at best, customer service is poor.Review fromSarah G

This card is such a joke as a member for over 5 years they canceled it on me with no notice for not using it for 3 months ,,,, never contacted me or anything , this droped my credit score dramatically,, I was never late on a payment and always kept it at o balance . Credit cards are ment for emergencies and this one is a joke don't waste your time with them , as they droped me with a 700 limit I got a 5k limit Mastercard now. Maybe next time reach out to a customer before just canceling because your not making money on them every month !Oportun, Inc.

My credit card payment was taken without my permission for 100 and I clearly had a auto pay set up for 50. No one helped me resolve this matter. This is the second time. Do not apply here. They are jokes.Oportun, Inc.

This loan institution is not a legit Aplus rated business. I recently made a settlement agreement with them when my financial situation changed drastically after my husband's death. I took out a $2500 loan and paid on it for a year. Then fell behind. I got a settlement offer of $2100 to settle account. Amount they disvpunted by a little more than $900. The last $350 payment I asked for a 5 day extension. I got approval from a supervisor. Now Opportun claims this extension was not approved on an error by supervisor and ive been waiting since Jan 3 for letter that settlement was completed. They keep hanging up on me and telling me matter has been escalated. Give them additional week every time I call. Its February 7 and I'm still waiting. They want me to pay the balance of 900 or so dollars to pay off account. All customer service reps have heavy accents so it is hard to understand them. As a consumer they are difficult to work with and ********* of games. Nearly impossible to speak with supervisors.Oportun, Inc.

1 starHow is it even possible for these guys to have an A+ rating? Seriously that cannot be real. **************** is horrible, clear communication is absurdly lacking. Was told today 02/03/2024 there is actually no real phone number to this business. Are you kidding me? this "business" needs to be seriously investigated. I have been trying for a month to simply cash out my remaining funds and close my account. I keep getting the run-around on how to actually cash out and close. It should not be this difficult.
