On 06/27/2023 I, ******************************* I discovered the company "Creative Design Crew". This company advertised that they could create a logo. They advertised 3 packages throughout the website and also through an interactive in-site chat box with "*****." I chose the medium priced package $130 that allowed me have unlimited design choices with ownerhsip rights. Throughout the design process, I felt that they would hold on sending redesigns while trying to work a pushy up sale tactic. They would periodically halt the designs when i rejected their advances for upselling. Finally, when it was time to commit to a design, they held that design hostage after demanding an additional $500-$700 to release the design. Immediately flustered with the totality of the circumstance, I asked for a refund, asked for a supervisor, and requested their terms and conditions. I was immediately met with patronizing condemnation and unprofessional harassments. They began texting me, emailing me, and calling me demanding payment. On July 7, 2023 "*****" or whatever replacement name he used, refused to issue a refund and even stated that he would release the logo if I promised NOT to write a review. I have this on recorded voice message. I made numerous attempts via email to get a refund or the final design. I paid for the design but it is now being held hostage pending a sudden surprise $700 payment or a promise to not write a review, which is extremely unethical for me. After a check on review sites I discovered many other testimonials of people in the same predicament.Initial Complaint

In mid-December 2022, I contacted Creative Design Crew in order to assist my son in designing a logo for his new business as a Christmas gift from me. I opted for the upgraded logo package that included unlimited revisions and stationery at a promised "all in" price of $200. I agreed to the price and gave my credit card information to *********************. **** and my son worked on a logo that my son was happy with. Shortly thereafter, I received a call from **** in which he tried to sell me a web site design at a cost of $750. I told him "no" in no uncertain terms. He then proceeded to call my son (who is not an authorized signer on my account) to try to sell him a website design. My son also told him "no." When I received my credit card statement dated 2/2/23, there was a charge on it for $750 from Webs and Designs. I immediately called Webs and Designs and was informed that this was for inhouse registration of the logo. I don't even know what an inhouse registration means. An inhouse registration was never discussed with me nor authorized by me. **** advised me that my son authorized the $750 charge (which my son denies, he would not charge $750 to me.) I informed **** that my son is not an authorized signer on my account. Furthermore, I never gave **** permission to charge my account based on anyone else's say so. Upon further investigation, I found that the internet is **** with complaints regarding this company's business practices. In fact, the BBB has rated this company "F" and has issued an alert regarding undisclosed fees and costs. This company is not honest and their unscrupulous business practices need to be stopped. As far as I am concerned Webs and Designs stole $750 from me because they had my credit card information. All I wanted to do was something nice for my son for Christmas and all that resulted was it blew up in my face.Initial Complaint

I chose this company to create a logo for my business. I selected the $130 package which offers an advertised "100% ownership rights" and "100% satisfaction gurarantee". Once all revisions were made on my logo, I was ready to move forward with finalization of the logo. The project lead called me and stated that I would need to register my logo with the government at either the state or federal level. The project lead stated that this was $400 or $600 respectively, and is paid directly to the government. I knew this wasn't true and continued to ask questions. The project lead stated that he already submitted my application to the federal government on my behalf and that I now owed this fee. I never agreed to this fee or to have any documents submitted on my behalf. He offers to transfer me to their "legal" department which is just a random guy who answered the phone as "hello, who is this?" After I hung up due to the scammy nature of the conversations, I. began to receive many calls from "unknown number." The man with the "legal" department misrepresented himself as an attorney and refused to provide me with my final logo package or a refund. He kept saying "that's not going to happen" or "you aren't getting anything from us" despite me paying the $130 fee for logo creation. The "legal department" representative conducted himself in an extraordinarily rude and unprofessional manner, and kept threatening to not provide my artwork to me. After many very long and forceful conversations, and after sending them information from the ******************************** regarding trademark registration requirements, my logo was finally sent to me. This company is continuing to contact me from multiple different numbers trying to. get me to purchase additional services. Very unprofessional organization who is trying to mislead, harass, and scam customers.Initial Complaint

Logo design company falsely stated that in order for them to "release" my already paid-for logo ($130.00), I needed to pay them an extra $500.00 dollars for copyright "rights". This is false, as I have used other logo companies in the past, and other customers have been scammed the saw way after reading reviews. I was left without a company logo for my barbershop and they only sent me a proof, asked for the additional money if I wanted the water **** taken off and sent to me in high-resolution so I could re-print the logo.Initial Complaint

In spring of 2023, we hired ***************************** and his team to produce a logo for our new business. We paid for the logo upfront; however, we never received an approved, nor non-watermarked, logo files for our business use, and in fact, in order to release a file or any files, ***************************** of Creative Design Crew used high pressure sales techniques to get us to commit to also doing our website with him for $700 or $800 (which we had explained numerous times we were not ready to do). We shared that we were not comfortable and that he and his firm had been hired to product a logo for us. Due to the fact we never received an approved useable logo and that we are 100% dissatisfied, we request the full amount of $280.00 credited back to our original form of payment. We had previously shared with ***** that his (Creative Design Crew) business approach and model is not ethical nor fair, nor does it help or feel good to his end user throughout the process. I have been a professional marketing consultant for 25 years, and it is clear that this business does not maintain the standards of our profession, nor does it operate in an ethical way. ***************************** also tried to tell us things that were patently untrue about service marking and trademarking our logo. He told us things that are in direct contradiction to my 25 years of experience. We just want our money back, in full, to the original form of payment. We have previously requested it a few times, and to date, he has not credited our account. I am attaching two emails I sent him. We have tried both phone and email with no satisfactory results. I am also attaching one of the logo options they sent us as a serious submission. I would not recommend this company based on our experience and would hope to help others avoid this highly unpleasant, unsatisfactory experience. March 23, 2023 client paid (me) 40 dollars for a money back guarantee logo. Requested refund the following day since deciding to not move forward with company. Creative Designs Crew said refund would take place in 1-2 weeks. Refund never happened and emails were never responsive from *************************. The *** company also haggled me on purchasing a website design even though I expressed I wasnt interested. After declining the whole business transaction got nasty. Purchased a platinum logo package roughly $190 about 2 weeks ago. Sample logos they have provided is not the quality of work they display on the website.I asked for a refund because its advertised on their website 100% money back guarantee if youre not satisfied with the work. They told me to read the fine print and it states, once you request sample logos after the initial set of logos sent you considered to be in some kind of contract with them. And they do not give refunds after that. However I feel scammed because the sales person told me since I got the platinum package and it comes with unlimited request he highly recommends not to accept the first set of logo samples. I took his advice and I got trapped in some kind of contract.Also, the project manager for my project is not responsive via Txts ( the way we communicate) I sent him Txts regarding suggestions I had on 4/24/23 and asked him to reply confirming if he got it. In October I agreed to pay the Creative Design Crew to create a logo for my LLC for a fee. I can't say it was an easy process but in the end, I did get something I like as well as the business cards that were included in the package. It took far longer than it should have and quite a lot of back-and-forth, but this part of the business transaction is fine. The second part, however, is a total mess in that it has never been delivered and no response - at all - is available form the company. As part of the process it was suggested that I should get the logo trademarked with the USPTO.Gov site; I agreed and paid $615.00 (11/17/2022) for them to file the appropriate paperwork. Initially, it appeared that things were going according to schedule. I now have an account with the site, but no activity, no trademark, and no follow-up. I have made over 30 requests for a status, via email, phone, and chat. I have been passed from **************************** Mgt. & Mktg. ****, to ************************** Project Manager, and even had '*****' offer to act as a conduit to getting some action and response. More than four months later, I have nothing, and can not get any response. I have a copy of every email I have sent, as well as proof, via my credit card, of the payments made. Sadly, it is impossible to give you a copy of a non-existant response. If copies of what I do have would be beneficial, please advise. While I would like to have the trademark, evidently I can do this myself for far less cost. At this point, I would like a complete refund of what I paid for this activity - $615.00 - posted to the same credit card charged. I can tell from other complaints to the BBB that this company is not responsive and is frankly, nothing but a rip-off. The company offers packages to create logos for a set price and release the files to you upon completion. It is clearly an out of the country run operation that is a scam upon completing my logo. I asked them to transfer the files to me that I have paid $120 for the Vin refused siding that I need to get it registered for an additional $400 which was not stated anywhere in their entire website they then refused to give me a refund upon my asking and will not release my $120 or my logo to me. It is a complete scam and I want a refund. I called the company and pretended like a new customer and asked them if I needed to have it registered to be released to me the customer service agent then told me not to worry that I would not have to pay anything additional to ************, but then I told him I was a customer, and one of their other agents had refused to help me then he recanted his statement and said no that that is a mandatory process to pay an additional $400.
