One after another the Dexcom G7 keeps failing over and over!!! Why is this thing being sold in the ***??? This thing should be kept in ***** where it belongs, Not in the ***!!! I call them over and over each time the sensor fails! I am not the only one with some kind of issue! It's all over the web!

This is the worst product ever, it fell out of my partners arm after a day and mine has stopped working on day 7. **************** refuses to be helpful and keeps putting me in a circle. The product does not work, its inaccurate and now just reads a false reading lower than 70.

Dexcom G7 Is Failing Type 1 Diabetics And Its Dangerous As a type 1 diabetic, my life depends on accurate, real-time blood glucose data. Thats why I use a continuous glucose monitor (CGM) specifically, the Dexcom G7. But after months of repeated failures and frustration, its time to say what too many people are afraid to: this product is unreliable, unsafe, and Dexcom is failing its customers.Let me be clear:Out of 11 sensors, only ONE has lasted the full 10-day wear period without issues. Thats a 1-in-11 success rate for a life-saving medical device. That is unacceptable.CGMs are not fitness trackers. They are essential tools used to avoid seizures, comas, and even death. When sensors fail, we are flying blind. And its happening over and over ******** make things worse, Dexcoms customer service is completely broken. The representatives are often difficult to understand and seem poorly trained. Most calls end with another faulty sensor being mailed out, as if throwing hardware at the problem will fix it. Theres no real investigation, no ownership, no urgency. Just the same frustrating loop. This is not an isolated incident. Its a pattern. And its dangerous. What makes it even more frustrating is that Dexcom is a company people are told to trust. Doctors recommend it. Ads praise it. But in reality, this system is failing, and Dexcom isnt doing nearly enough to make it right. If Dexcom cant deliver a CGM that consistently works with proper support behind it then the Dexcom G7 should not be on the ********* not just venting. Im warning others. If youre using the G7 and experiencing similar issues, speak out. File a complaint. Tell your doctor. Report it to the **** MedWatch system. Our lives are on the line and silence only protects the company, not the people its supposed to serve. We deserve better. Angry Type 1 Diabetic

My current device was started on June 14th. The session ended early on June 22nd.The device was unreliable since insertion. It consistently had sensor/session errors, and in addition it was always about 60 points lower than a finger stick. I originally completed a form through the ** chatbot to inform of the sensor interruptions and the inaccuracy of the readings. The ** bot declined my request for a product replacement.I dealt with the device for a week and relied on finger stick testing for a week for accurate data. And now after giving false readings for a week, the device has malfunctioned so poorly that it's not even working at all, and it ended the session early! These devices are supposed to last around 15 days. This one lasted 8. That's almost a 50% reduction in longevity! The device keeps prompting for a pair, I tell it to pair, and it continually won't. And in the meantime I have paid $45 for a product that I now cannot use and did not get full use out of.I submitted a case through your system, and it rejected it.I called customer support and spoke with a woman who was extremely unhelpful and told me that if the ** bot had rejected my case, there was nothing she could do. Why is she even there, then? This device malfunctioned. Please issue a replacement. I do not expect to spend $45 for a two-week sensor to only have it last 1 week, and even when it was functioning for those eight days, it wasn't working ************* should know that I have currently canceled my subscription. The treatment that I have received is unacceptable. This is unacceptable customer service. Your product failed, and not because of anything that I did. I have used these devices for a long time, I know what I'm doing, I did not do anything to cause the session to end early.I am owed a replacement. You need to make this right.

G7 device keeps malfunctioning. Three failures out of four devices in less than 30 days. Support is always from overseas. Very polite, yet utterly incompetent. Their latest helpful advice is literally to switch to a different provider. What else is there to say?!

This company is a total joke. I have no idea why providers recommend it so much. I was using the Libre Freestyle and was convinced by more than one provider that I should switch to the Dexcom because it was more accurate. I got a 3 month supply, each sensor only lasts 10 days (compared to 15 on the Libre), so I had 9 total devices. Not exaggerating, only 3 made it the whole 10 days. All 6 of the others had "sensor errors" and stopped working before the 10 days. I have been using a CGM for over 3 years now and am very familiar with how to use them, so it was not my own errors causing it. In their defense, Dexcom did replace 2 of the sensors, but their online form did not work to be able to request them so I had to call which is time consuming, and, frankly, I do not have time to be requesting replacement sensors every week. Not only are the sensors more costly than the Libre, you also need more to cover the same time frame, and 70% of them wont work properly. What a scam.

Dexcom is a great product sometimes when they work properly, however The sensors sometimes does not have needles that insert in your skin for readings, and they fall off if you are a heavy sweater even wearing the overpatch. You call support and they ask fifty millions questions about what happen and you tell them and they dont seem to understand the process of what you tell them. Then if you have had more than three in a year to go bad, they wont replace anymore, you or your insurance will have to pay for them in order to get them replaced. How sad that Dexcom wont stand behind their products.

I have been a dexcom user for several years in the past with no problems. However, my dexcom G6 transmitter just stopped working on 5/22/25. I called technical support and was told that they no longer have one day fed ex delivery. They said it would take 3 days. Today is the 5/29/25 and still haven't received the new transmitter. I also have not received an email with a tracking number.I have been a diabetic for over 40 years, fortunately with no side effects, but I also have ********* DX which makes controlling my diabetes very difficult and since I haven't had my cgm,I have had 3 hypoglycemic events where my wife has had to inject me with ********.There quality of care has significantly decreased over the years and it is obvious to me that they didn't care about their customers health. I would be very ***** about using dexcom in the future since I'm very concerned about my health and their ability to understand consequences of their LACK of action!

This company needs closer review. Their product does not last the 10 days they claim. Providing you with only 3 sensors for 30 days doesn't allow for equipment failure or issues with functionality related to normal and daily activities. Their customer service is also horrible. In an emergency situation when their device fails their solution is to ship you something in 5 days. For a device that is supposed to be lifesaving how can they not have overnight delivery service. Lastly due to not following *** regulations they are now having an inventory issue leaving some with no supplies for 30 days or more

I just got home from the hospital, after trusting the G7 .It was telling me I was at 158, but in fact I was going higher and higher. At first I thought I had caught the flu feeling worse and worse,by the time I realized it was giving false readings I loosing my balance and eyesight at 1300, still Dexcom was saying I was in the 150s.I've been a diabetic for 16 years and have never DKAed .I read that they did significant unotherised changes to the G7 and released it into production ?? .Is making more money more important than people's lives to Dexcom? I used to have a Lifestyle CGM and never had an issue. After loosing over ten pounds and gaining a huge hospital bill ,I back home trying to get back on my feet! There's probably a law suit here,I should have become a lawyer!' DONT TRUST YOUR DEXCOM G7 IT NEARLY KILLED YOU !! My doctors words. Get the Lifestyle if possible I've had both much less problems and breakdowns with Lifestyle CGM . I'm home now but not able to return to my construction job for being in the hospital bed for so long left me kinda lame and weak ,loosing more money daily. I'm all for company's making money but not when my life is on the line, why didn't Dexcom get a full *** approval before releasing the new product! DON'T TRUST THE DEXCOM G7
