I was looking for a dumpster rental for a project. I seen that liberty dumpster was advertising dumpsters for prices significantly lower than competitors. I had a budget that I was trying to stay within so their pricing was under $250 as advertised. That sounded great. I paid that amount the dumpster was picked up and then within days, I was charged about $700 to $800 more than I expected. I had made another payment of $200 towards the balance because I felt pressured and forced by their agents but honestly I feel mislead and that their advertising is deceptive and unfair. If they would have shared the upfront pricing, I would had gone with another agency. Now I feel like Im being harassed and threatened again by their agents.Initial Complaint

I filed a complaint about this company in October 2024 because I had paid and signed contract with them for services and then a few weeks later they doubled charged me and ran my credit card. The solution from that complaint was they refunded me the 2nd charge. Today, I received an email from them trying to take back the refund and threatening me saying that they are going to put a line against my property. I called the telephone number on the email and left a message, but once again no one answered the phone. I left a voicemail message and replied to the email from ****, the senior billing specialist. First this company scam me with the price switch, then they refunded me, and now they trying to take back the refund.Initial Complaint

This is a scam dumpster company. It listed a cheap price for dumpster rental, but when you used their dumpster services. They late charge you several times more than the original price. I would like to expose this scam company so people may be aware of it before using their services.Initial Complaint

My brother contacted Liberty Dumpster because we needed one to clean out our dead mother's house. He gave me their phone number to call. I called and spoke with ******. She said it was $235 plus tax for 30yd dumpster for 2 days. I ***eatedly asked her is that the final price and her response every time was yes unless we over fill the dumpster. I went ahead and ******** that agreement. The dumpster was dropped off on October 31, 2024 and picked up on November 1, 2024. The day before the dumpster was dropped off a ***resentative called me and said that they are out of the 30yd and will I accept the 20yd and I said yes and that is what we got the 20yd dumpster. I told the *** that I wanted it in writing a new contract and she said that she will email me. I never received that email with the ***lacement dumpster information. I called Liberty back to speak with ****** and never was able to connect with her again. I spoke with other ***s and they did nothing as well. I sent emails to ***************************************************** and no one never responded. On 11/21/24 I received an email stating that they charged my credit/debit card an additional $432.89. Our dumpster was not over or at the fill line, so I don't know why they are charging me. I responded back to the email and waiting to see if they respond. I want my $432.89 back.Initial Complaint

I rented a dumpster which was delivered on November 5, 2024. When I was presented a contract, which to me was ambiguously worded I called for clarification about weight fees, which seemed to be in addition. I was told that 1 ton of weight was included, and there would be no additional fee if I had less than 1 ton (it was branches, less than 1 ton.) First the delivery was later than promised (promised by noon, came at 3:45 p.m.) I then was charged a weight fee and other fees that brought the total to twice what I was told. I called to complain, all phone personnel are overseas, I said that I was told that there would not be a weight fee and I would like a reanscript of the call they claim as recorded. I was told I need a court order, asked where to apply, asked for a US representative and I was given a number of the supposed owner in ***. Called and no response over a week now.Initial Complaint

We rented a 30 yard container by this company they charged us $235 which was withdrawn before they delivered the container. They dropped off the container on a Thursday and pick up was supposed to be Friday. They picked it up on Monday. They then sent me an invoice for $1741 because we exceeded the limit of trash pick up . They told us the container weigh 3.6 tons. Which is absolutely crazy because the container wasnt even half full and it was also very light stuff from our garage cleanup. I called them to dispute and they sent me to their billing where I waited for a while and nobody picked up. I tried emailing them. My email was returned to me. Their email was a scam. I then went on ****** to ****** this company and I found so many people calling them scammers and dealing with the same exact thing that we did. We also have a charge on our credit card for 375 on top of the 235 that we already paid them. this company is very shady and scams Its customers.Initial Complaint

On 7/10/24 I ordered a dumpster $266 on 7/11/24 the dumpster was delivered I ordered the dumpster to dump a couch because I didnt have a truck to dump it the dumpster was supposed to be picked up the next day it stayed for a week fast forward now they are billing me for $954 due to my dumpster was over weight which is impossible brother couch weigh was no more than 60lbs the contact them an the customer service was horrible an very disrespectful where they said they would take me to court an put a lien on my house this company is very misleading when it comes to the costInitial Complaint

I've attached three images. Liberty dumpster was scheduled to pick up my dumpster on February 16th, however, they did not show up and they admitted there was a mix up. See text attachment for this. The dumpster was actually removed the 19th, which there is a picture attached of the truck leaving with the dumpster and the timestamp of February 19th, which corresponds to the texts from liberty dumpster. I was charged for some dumpster that was picked up the 16th, which is obviously not mine.The receipt they sent from the disposal, is from the 16th. I have attached that.In attempts to contact them over the last 6 months, they've ignored my calls and emails. Ordered a 10 yard dumpster for a 24 hour rental period. Cost confirmed and charged to my credit card was $266.30. Upon pick up of dumpster I received a bill (see attached). My credit card was charged another $750 and there is also a balance due of another $79.86. I did NOT authorize the additional charges beyond $266.30. Nowhere in my application did it talk about the dumpster being weighed and that I would be charged again. They keep telling me that the higher-*** are on lunch, no matter what time of day I call. I can't get through to anyone. See other complaints on BBB website for the same situation.
