      Eco ATM looks to be a scam and has zero customer service. My phone was stolen and the last known location tracked was at one of their kiosks, so the thief submitted my phone and took money for it. Called 3 times and was waiting over 2 hours each time to see if they could find my phone in their machine log at that location. Left several e-mails over 3 days with all the necessary details needed to identify the device, and still no response.Finally got through to their customer service today. I've been talking to ***** for 45 minutes working to get enough information to them for action. Still nothing.

      I sold an iPhone 14 Plus to them. Like others I was told one price on the website but got another price at the kiosk that was lower. I asked for a ****** payment. They did not contact me when for some reason ****** refused and the payment. I contacted them after not receiving payment. I was told it would take 5 to 7 days to receive a check. Its been over 7 days and I still have not received a check. Theyve had my phone for 2 weeks. All I have is a claim number. Im never using them again. Ill stick with backmarket.

      Something has changed at Gazelle. I've done 12 transactions with them over the previous 10+ years. Now, I send my iphone as done many times before, and they first said the box I returned was empty. Then they claimed they can't find it. Then I had to send a written affidavit. I did. Now they just keep promising (3x so far) "someone will get back to you today" but I guess today never comes. This has gone on for 6 weeks. I would have to agree that Gazelle is now a scam operation. Oh, not for every trade in. That would be too easy to catch. Just one here, one there, sell them on the side, and voila! Reading their reviews across the web and seeing a 1.8 rating (you almost NEVER see that!) it's obvious. They don't have anybody responding to counter the claims, so...there you go.

      Bad customer service!!! And machine confuses you making you think your getting a bonus on top of quote. You are not beware!!! Before going in to atm I got a quote for$ 482 and I entered code and machine gave me $452. I was not extremely upset but my phone was is excellent condition and was iphone 16 pro max 1 TB. When I called they said no sorry nothing can be done. I have come several times and sold my phones to them but after that service. Beware!!

      I would give negative stars if it were an option. I just received my cell phone back, a ****** Pixel 7 256GB (unlocked) model, for the second time. Both times, they evaluated my phone and told me that it was a ****** Pixel 7 128GB (other). I tried working with the support staff to convince them that the evaluation/warehouse team were misreporting my cell phone model. They did nothing but give me a $10 discount on my next purchase. They are using deceptive tactics to try to cheat customers. The first time the original quoted price was about $210. Their inspection changed the model and they offered me about $110. The second time, they did the same thing. The original offer was about $110. Their model-change offer was $70. There website, *************************************** lists a ****** Pixel 7 256GB (unlocked) for $225 to $319.

Initially we received your device on 2/05 with the inspection completed and offer adjustment sent via email same day. Due to the carrier and capacity change the offer was lowered with the option to accept or decline. On 2/05 you had declined the offer with the device returned back to you. As for the second transaction, this was received at our warehouse with the inspection completed on 4/03. We were contacted the same day with our support team advising on the option to reinspect the device. On 4/07 the reinspection was completed and sent via email as well as our support team reaching out via phone. While speaking with our support team they advised on the reinspection information provided, with you requesting to decline the offer. On 4/10 you followed up via email advising on the discrepancy and providing additional documentation for our support team to review further. On 4/11 our support team reached out via phone and advised on review of the additional documents provided and advised we would honor the original quoted offer for the device. At this time, we have not had follow-up regarding the offered resolution but will gladly proceed if accepted. If you have any further questions, please contact our support team.

      Absolutely the worst customer service. I talked with two individuals who were very unprofessional. They couldnt help me resolve my problem and they made it worse. I just stood in ****** trying to sell my phone for about an hour. Shouldve taken 10 minutes tops. Also dont tell me my phone does not charge. I can plug that phone to a magnet charger and it charges right up. So maybe have more charging options instead of giving me a new cord. (It was the same cord). Just absolutely ridiculous. Phone has cracks but other than that it charges right up and turns on. Thanks for the $16. Hopefully no one decides to unplug your machines.

      Sent in my iPhone and they came back and lowered my offer after received. They claimed my ATT store bought phone was unlocked and gave a few other reasons to drop my offer price. Be careful of bait and switch with the folks. There is really no way to argue their inspection so you simply have to choose to have them ship you back your phone.

On 2/28, we received your device, with the inspection completed and an email sent to you with the adjusted inspection results. These outlined changes related to the carrier,condition, and overall usage of the device. At that time, you were provided the option to either accept or decline the updated offer which you then requested a reinspection, which was completed on 3/14. We confirmed via email that the reinspection outcome remained the same. You reached out again on 3/15, advising that the device was not unlocked and was instead locked to AT&T. However,our processing team verified that the device registered as unlocked in our system, based on the internal diagnostics and IMEI checks performed during intake. On 4/2, a representative contacted you to provide further clarification regarding the revised offer. While we were unable to adjust the evaluation due to the battery issue, we offered a partial adjustment in response to the carrier status concern.       On March 8, 2025, I bought a phone and paid $506.73 for shipping, tax, etc. The order is promised to ship within two days; shipping was $17.99 for 3-4 business days. I received an email a few days later than that. March 11; We have encountered a delay in shipping your item(s). We apologize for the delay and will continue to work on shipping your order as quickly as possible. An e-mail notification will be sent to you once your order has shipped."I contacted them to inquire about the order; I was notified that it was not available to ship yet. Upon further discussion, they said they had no such phone in stock and hoped to receive that model soon. The reason for the delay should be clearly outlined: "We don't have that phone available." If the product isn't available, this should be stated when purchasing. There was no notification or disclaimer that they would not hold/collect funds if this occurred, but they charged my card ********** a consumer this is crappy practice. This complaint will be investigated confirmed and nothing else will occur. Kind of a shame this BBB exists only to hear feedback when the vendors aren't even investigated or held liable. Kind of just a community of complaints.
