      Definitely dont recommend this gym. The staff are rude dont know what they are doing , all they did was give me the run around when I went to cancel my membership.. the girl said my info would be gone . I went back in the next day my info was still in the computer . So I will be contacting corporate office on 05/26/2025 . They want all this money for the gym membership but the person you take with you cant use what you use.

      Chuze fitness is a fraudulent company with a F rating with the BBB ( the one in ***************). Stay far away!!! I had a medical issue and informed them to cancel my membership months ago. They continued to auto debit money from my account for over a year when no services were rendered. Dont listen to anything in reply to this message. They will say whatever. Theyre scammers. I was told today that they would be refunding my bank account by one of their managers. Then I was told that they were not going to do that. I am going to take affirmative action. You can check the BBB for this company in *********************************. They have an F rating b/c they love to continue to steal money from their members.

      Hello ********, Thank you for your review. We apologize again for any frustration regarding your membership. As mentioned previously, membership dues are not based on the usage of the facility but instead on the active status of the account. It appears there was no record of cancellation for your membership, therefore, your account remained active.While we can see that the onsite manager denied the refund request, you do still have the option to provide us with your medical documentation. Once that is received we can backdate and/or refund any necessary dues you have paid during the time period stated on your documentation.We thank you again for your time and we wish you all the best in your future fitness endeavors!

      I had an incident yesterday at the Chuze fitness in *********** at *******. There was a woman using another machine and left her stuff on one machine. I went to use it and she made a huge issue standing there calling me names. I put my head phones on and ignored her, then kept working out. She went and got the staff who approached and didn't ask my side they told me I need to leave because she is hitting super sets, and I can't tell people I will take them outside, which I didn't say. I ignored him and kept working out and he is on camera furious wanted to try to stop me too. The security came police came no police report was filed. I was embarrassed, humiliated, and I'm actually looking for legal recourse. This gym allows people to reserve more than one machine while others wait. The girl waited in the parking lot while I stayed in and spoke to the worker. He wouldn't speak to me outside even though I stated I wanted to resolve and mediate the issue. He wanted to address the issue in front of the whole gym. She was not asked to leave. She decided to go wait at her car then when I came out continued. I had words with her too but then the staff came outside to watch the issue after he wouldn't come out to mediate it. Police were called I was sent on my way without a citation. I was told I can go back as if nothing happened and I was not made to look like a villain. I had to repeatedly tell them to review the cameras and not take mine or her word but video evidence. This is infuriating and I use the gym to release anger and depression. Be on guard in this gym, financially, mentally, and emotionally, because they escalate situations that are small into huge issues. I didnt hear any racial slurs but I feel they were threatened by me unjustly and sided with her because I'm black and tattooed and she's a small attractive woman.

      They signed up my 17 yrs old child for a gym membership in *********. I found out they signed up a minor I had them cancel it they charged me a cancellation fee. The contract should be. Nil and void because the signed up a minor illegally. But the only way I could stop them from taking money from out joint account was to pay the 50 cancelation fee Pretty shady

      This is definitely not a postive review. Beyond disappointed on Chuze Fitness. I would like to first express that the gym is for taking out the stress, for your health, to have fun in the classes. From a couple weeks drastic change as happen without any notice. Our instructors are being affected by this. Instructors are getting their classes cancelled to replace them for Yoga, Warrior Rythm classes that dont get full. Bodycombat and Bodypump are the most popular classes in our community people love those classes and enjoy the time. Its ridiculous how a class that gets full are being removed but a class like Yoga that only get 5 people out of 18 are being prompted more. I have so many screens shots evidence that show. I can only speak for myself but Im upset, disappointed, on how the managers are handling this at Chuze. This breaks my heart because members love combat and pump and its not fair to us or to the instructors. If someone can give a call please?? look at the numbers, look what classes get full and which one dont. Hope to hear from someone soon. Thank you

      I have tried calling the corporate phone line that my location and online show, for months now. Back in April I was on the phone with someone who said she was going to cancel my membership due to loss of my Pops and yet I have been charged for the freeze that I put on my account before that.. It has been months! Someone at the location helped me login to an account that I did not even know I had just to cancel online where it charged me again! I do not even live in ************ anymore. I have had to transfer my location to one closer where again I had to pay and one of the nice workers tried to make me feel better after at least it being frozen but I emailed and called submitting documentation of me living at my university in ***********. No body has called me back or emailed me about my cancellation.. This is getting ridiculous.

      For 4 years, my local chuze has been my happy and relaxing place.Except today, August 22, 2024, there was an unpleasant event. It all started with the arrival of the manager named *** from Chuze, *********** in *********, **********, located on *************She came to the Bodypump class from 8:30 am to 9:20 am to yell that we couldn't save our spots. I agree that as a manager you are under pressure and that there should be order, but as employees of a place where we go to exercise and relax, it is not the correct way to speak to a group or anyone. Personally, I felt humiliated and disrespected. I hope that the lady apologizes to the group and from now on, speaks to us with greater respect.Everyrhing else is great.

      1) They Chuze to ignore their Tanning bed maintenance- always several bulbs out or faded or flickering. 2) They Chuze to hold you hostage as a membertheir own website says you can cancel via appnope. 3) Employees behave like middle school kids at recess. Manager is discriminatory and enforces rules for some and not others ie no gym bags (small) or phones per policywant music- nope- phone cant be within range. Any get emergency calls. Read the policy. 4) Clips missing from cable machines. 5) Many HS kids that do not know gym etiquette swarm the place.6) Parking is a nightmare yet they continue to sign people up - no parking and over crowded.7) Many Karens are membersbeware.8) Antibacterial wipe stations are empty 89% of the time. 9) Sauna is always completely full- be prepared to rub skin with sweaty strangers.

      I need to vent about my experience with Chuze Fitness Monday. This week, I got lectured for having a water /liquid bottle container bag, even though they said it's for the safety of others. The crazy part? I've seen at least three other members with similar bags on the floor, and none of them got called out. Why am I the only one being singled out?To make things worse, I left an honest review about this inconsistency on their ******** page, and guess what? They recently blocked me. Instead of addressing my concerns, they chose to silence me. This is not how you treat your members, Chuze Fitness.I joined the gym expecting fairness and transparency, but that's clearly not what I'm getting. If you're going to enforce rules, do it consistently. And if you're going to have a social media presence, be prepared to handle honest feedback. Blocking members for voicing their concerns is just wrong.I hope Chuze Fitness can do better and create a fair environment for all its members. Ignoring or silencing us is not the way to go.Pictures are from other people in the gym.

      I have tried several times to resolve the situation locally with no luck. The gym I go to is in ************** and they can not resolve the issue of the constantly broken TV audio box. The staff is uncooperative, so is the branch manager and the district manager. They all blame the corporate office for being slow, along with the IT department who oversees these issues. The fact is that they are selling their memberships with the tv app that allows customers to have access to tv channels, although the app is never available, which to me is fraudulent advertising. Unfortunately when searching phone numbers and email addresses to reach the corporate office, nothing is available online, except one phone number that when you leave a message, NOONE ever returns your call. This is not a serious company who cares for their customers! I finally got to the point where ** canceling my membership and will share my experience in social media and everyone else in my reach!
