      This gym is more predatory than any other gym with their agreements, and their locations are awful compared to any other gym chain.

      I became a member at 50% family discount of a "regular" membership at this gym and was told that the monthly membership would be about $12/month - later, when another family member left the gym, my monthly rate went up to a regular price of a 'premium membership'. When I approached them and even the corporate office, I was told that was what was written in the contract - sadly, that was written on the contract. I just wanted to use this platform to warn other customers that they should not go by what they are 'telling' you because they are dishonest - READ the contract carefully.

      I signed up for a membership on 8/31/22 for the soon to be opening Chuze in ************** to get the discount as it was advertised it would expire on 8/31/22. This was false advertisement as they keep extending the "special offer". I don't appreciate gimmicky sales pitches. In addition, they said opening in Fall but I can't get anymore information from them so I have submitted 2 online requests for information to which they have not responded. This is now over a month ago. I also keep calling the various numbers with the same generic message. Then I tried to find a corporate customer service number to no avail. Then I tried other locations and cannot speak to a live person. It is worrisome they have my bank information and will not respond and I'm not impressed with the lack of transparency and terrible customer service. I'm not sure what to do. They are definitely no OrangeTheory!

      If I could give ZERO stars I would. This is my very first review on BBB as I usually let things go. But after seeing some other reviews I felt it was important to share my experience as well. I called the location I signed up at to cancel my membership at the 1 year **** (I was not living there at the time to do it in person) this was in May. I was told by the gentleman on the phone that my membership was successfully canceled. June rolls around and I get charged again and I email them asking why I was charged again since I had cancelled my membership. I was told that it was not noted anywhere in my account that I cancelled. The woman I emailed with proceeded to cancel my membership BUT told me I would be charged again for July because it was not within 30 days of the next billing cycle, which was impossible for me to do because by the time I found out it is already within 30 days (charged June 14: 30 days is July 14) so they automatically get 1 more payment before I found out I was lied to on the phone about successfully cancelling in May. ******** is refusing to erase the July payment even though this is their mistake for not properly training employees to let members know they cannot cancel via phone (OR maybe they are training employees to say members can cancel via phone so they can gain more payments). This is not the first occurrence of an employee lying to a member by telling them they can cancel via phone (check ****** and yelp reviews for evidence). I was told by a ******** corporate employee that I need to take responsibility - I called to cancel. As far as I am concerned they need to take responsibility for training employees correctly and running a fair business.

      I was charged during Covid,I am unable to be in enclosed areas.I made an agreement to pay fees to end the membership,the manager did not put in cancellation fees and instead charged a membership fee.I will cost me ***** yearly fees,48.00 membership and ****** to cancel.This business is very hard to cancel,do not sign anything or give them a credit card because they make charges without permission.
