I am writing to formally express my severe dissatisfaction and request immediate disciplinary action against **********, the manager at the *********** Chuze Gym, on behalf of my friend and gym partner, ***********************. **** has been a loyal member for over 4 years and has consistently enjoyed his experience until his recent interactions with ****.During a recent visit, **** forgot his cell phone and asked **** to manually sign him in. **** not only refused but also demanded **** use a FOB, addressing him in a condescending manner. Additionally, **** falsely claimed he had manually signed **** in last week.This incident is not isolated. Both **** and I have regularly experienced rude behavior from ****, suggesting a pattern of disrespect. His conduct has significantly marred our experience at Chuze Gym.During this recent encounter, ****'s behavior led to a confrontation, resulting in the unjust revocation of ****'s membership.Given the severity and frequency of ****'s unprofessional behavior, I urge immediate disciplinary action. I also request that ****'s membership be reinstated without delay.I spoke to two other Chuze gym locations, and they confirmed that manual check-in is allowed. It is unacceptable that this policy is inconsistently applied. **** acts as if **** purposely left his phone to create trouble, which is not the case. Address this discrepancy to ensure a uniform experience for all members.I expect this issue to be resolved promptly and look forward to your response. I had to grievances with this location the first is with equipment and the other with the cleaning and health practices there. First the hot tub and wet sauna are always broken or down. I pay the premium price for access to these areas and yet the access to them is not monitored or inforce by the staff. When these services are down for months at a time Im not compensated or given a discount for the lack of access to this services that I continue to pay for. The second is the cleaning or lack of cleaning at this location. The hot tub and pool where just closed to not passing city inspecting and I will no longer use them. Today when I went to use the wet sauna (which was down) I saw a staff member take a bottle of spray bleach unscrewed the top and pour that bleach into the hot tub when members where in it. No measuring the ** level or asking the people in the hot tub to get out just dumping an unmeasurable amount of bleach into. Also the tanning beds are not being cleaning after every use Ive seen and have experience this firsthand. The lack of cleaning is obvious in the mens locker room.Chuze Fitness

Unfortunately, we are still dealing with many manufacturing, supplier, and shipping delays nationwide. While some factors are out of our control, we are working hard to do everything we can to mitigate and resolve what we can. In the meantime, we encourage you to check out some of our nearby locations that offer these amenities as well. 1 starJust want to start by saying Ive been with chuze since 2018, I swore by the book it was the best gym until today. I have guardianship over my sister so she can live and go to school in ********* and go home with our mom on the weekends in *******. Well shes 13 and shes quite petite for her age. Ive taken her with me plenty of times and today I went for my usual work out and some man named ****** came and told me she could not be in the gym. I asked why not since chuze has a policy of age ***** with guardian or parent. He said how old is she and I responded ************************************************************************* was and he kept saying he needs proof so I was able to show proof of her age but it felt so uncomfortable to have this man Ive never seen before discriminate against her because of her size. So I asked his position because again, *** never seen him before and I often go to this exact location. His response was supervisor and then he continued to say I need to show proof of guardianship now that *** proved that shes of age. I responded explaining that I felt like when being approached he should have asked her age and included I needed proof of guardianship and requested to see a policy bc it seemed like he just did not want us there. He told me he didnt need to show me anything. I asked again his position he then said assistant manager and I wrote his name and left. At this point I dont think I even want to keep my membership with chuze. I feel uncomfortable at the fact that the discrimination came from an assistant manager.Review fromJorge H

Terrible gym on Monday April 4 2024 I went to ask for a membership and was appalled on how rude and unprofessional the manager ***** and the sales rep ***** were and another employee with long hair. The manager ************** nothing when an immigrant lady and her small child went to ask about a week **********. The other employee with long curly black hair ignored her as did the manger because she didnt speak English. ***** said he didnt speak English but the other two did speak Spanish and ignored her and gave her dirty, angry, annoyed looks she was waiting at the door and no one helped her or her small child. I was so offended let them know that this was not appropriate and left. Only to hear as **** in a sarcastic voice have a nice day.Chuze Fitness

I joined Chuze Fitness back in 2019 when at the time they were a trailer in the parking lot.As an inducement to join and since I was with Silver Sneakers I was given a Wellness Premier membership. I have not had any issues until this week when my card would no longer give me access to the wet areas. I was told that I would have to pay an additional $19.99 to use the wet area. According to their own web site the wet areas are still included in a Wellness Premier membership. I still hold that status and can use the other Premier benefits except the wet areas which makes no sense. I attempted to reach out to management on their site but have yet to get a response back. What all seniors should be aware of is that Silver Sneakers pays Chuze $3 a visit up to 10 visits which amounts to $30 a month which is more than a person coming off the street has to pay for the same membership. I am currently a member of Chuze in ***************, ********. But most likely not for long as there are better options out there. Lack of integrity is always a turn off in business.Chuze Fitness

Now that we are reverifying your eligibility we will need to sign you up with our **************** membership pricing. Our Basic membership is completely paid for by your insurance and the Premium and More memberships are still offered at a very discounted price. Please note that the Premium and More Wellness memberships do have an Annual Fee of $49.99 that is charged 45 days after signing up and annually thereafter.We again apologize for any frustrations that have stemmed from this change. We hope that we can still deliver incredible value to you as a member including amazing amenities, outstanding cleanliness, and world-class service. Im so mad. Ive been at chuze for a year now. First time going an employee explained to me we cant have any bags on the floor. Every time I go I see bags on the floor so why did I have to put mine away while everyone else gets to keep theres. And on top of that Im so sick of spending over 40 dollars a month to not be able to work out. This place is to packed and I dont have the time and day to figure out whats the less busy our. At this point chuze fitness is not worth it. I cant workout what I need to workout every person has taken up the machines. It puts me in a crappy mood makes me not motivated to workout.Chuze Fitness

For the safety of our team and members, bags of any sort are not permitted in the workout areas, however, we do provide lockers inside of each locker room and smaller day-use lockers toward the front of the facility. We apologize if it seemed as though this was only addressed with you but we can confirm this policy is in place for all members. In terms of crowds, we know this can be bothersome but we are thrilled that so many are taking an interest in their health. We do recommend avoiding the facility during peak hours in an effort to miss some of the crowds. 1 starMy kids and I have belonged to Chuze for 2+ years. Never missed a payment or a month. However, now that my son turned 16 they make him start a new membership which includes a new initiation fee, an annual fee which will hit at the end of the month and start a new 12month contract that he cannot cancel without a large fee. We have shown them loyalty but evidently loyalty on goes in one direction. I will be canceling my membership and join ****. I hope it was worth it to them.Review fromJourney P

1 starI recently went into the gym to get a membership and signed a contract no problem there but I soon realized I was moving out of state and traveling abroad, so I went into the gym within my first 20 days and cancelled my Membership and payed the $50 cancellation fee everything was good so I thought next thing you know I keep getting charged and find out months later I have a large outstanding balance and I call them and they state that yes membership was cancelled but I never provided proof of relocation which is a scam in its self and now I owe this money , I would not recommend this gym or franchise to any one they are money hungry scammersReview fromAlexandru M

The gym I go to is in ********** ********! Its run by kids that have no sense of respect for older people or gym etiquette and proper guidelines to protect their members! The manager is a kid that is very passive and conflict avoidant! I was assaulted 3 times at this gym and the manager never wanted to intervene or call the police! The gym is neglected and the bathrooms are a space for drug users and nasty shady people! The bathroom is always dirty and two sinks dont work for 9 months! I asked the manager to cancel my membership numerous times and I still got charged in July, even though I was out of tue country! Yesterday was the first time I went in for 30 minutes, I got assaulted by another member with a ********, and the manager again chose to not do anything! I stated my final request to cancel my membership and the girl that helped me was interrupted by the manager! He said my membership was canceled and Ill get an email! I never got an email confirming the cancellation and Im afraid theyll charge my account again! I hate that place! Corporate gyms fun by kids is a disaster and danger to the public !Chuze Fitness
