3 starsThe 70s rock and roll music is completely outdated. Play something that everyone can relate to. More updated music. Other than outdated music it's a good place to work out and trainReview fromVasista I

1 starSpoke to a corporate customer service staff member about a month ago to cancel my services as I had recently moved. It was right before my yearly renewal so it worked out perfectly. The women told me the plan drops down to a month to month option after the yearly contract and that I had to pay the last month of my contract but that I was good to go after that. Today I logged into my account and saw I was being charged nearly $100 and when I called corporate confused at why I was seeing this after already closing my account they told me that they dont show me ever calling or canceling my account and the $100 is a yearly service fee and a monthly charge despite ur plan automatically going to month to month and was cancelled days after the yearly service fee occurred due to insufficient funds and non of this is refundable. On top of everything else this is complete bs bc I know for 100% that my account hasnt been low enough to not cover a payment for baileys in a long time. Idk whats going on at baileys corporate office but this seems like a complete scam.Review fromColin S

1 starSo I actually have been a member of Baileys for only seven months, in which I put my card on file for myself and a friend of mines account who relocated out of the state and canceled his membership. They told me I would still be prorated a charge going forward, and then after that, I would not be charged for his side. I was standing right there when he was on the phone with corporate and he canceled the membership and four months later I was still being charged and noticed so I called up there and I was told that they only froze the account instead of canceling it. So when I asked for it to be completely canceled, They told me they could not unfreeze it to cancel it, and that my friend would have to call in and cancel it which he already did. I asked to speak to a supervisor multiple times in regards to the issue and got absolutely nowhere except being hung up on. As a paying customer, they have no problem taking your money, but when it comes time for them to lose out on money, they are very quick to rudely hang up the phone. 1 starI was a loyal EP fitness membership for over 12 years. The company transferred to Chuze fitness. I was NEVER informed of any changes in any way. I had a family plan and had paid for cycling for life at EPfitness. However, back in December 2022, I had surgery and did not return to EP until March 2023. That is when I was informed that I had to pay membership dues and other other fess and dues for an "agreement/contract" with Chuze that is non-existent. The girl at the front stated they would fix it. Never happened. I went back a couple of weeks later and the same story. This week, I called and spoke to management and I was told I had to pay the "fees/membership" or whatever they are charging me for or pay $50 to reinstate my non existent Chuze fitness membership. Today, I went by and I tried to fix the issue and was told the same thing and that I should be happy. They asked me if I wanted to "cancel" and of course I said yes. Well in order to "cancel" my non-existing contract I was told I had two options: to pay the exorbitant fees or the $50 reinstatment fee and that my "fees/membership" or whatever they are charging for will continue to increase until I pay. I never received any type of notice about any changes, I was put in a premium plan that I had no idea about and now I have to pay for something I never approved or had any idea of. I am being force to pay for the unprofessional transition to this new company where I am being treated unfairly and without any respect.Review fromAlejandra C

1 starNEVER use Baileys Powerhouse gym, as a contractor living in motels and attempting to go to a suitable gym, i needed to relocate due to a job location change, i gave them the location of the new job location and my new hotel, and they then said the location was deemed insufficient BECAUSE the contract between them for it to be "cancelled" had to be a permanent address change, however being a contractor I only have temporary address changes, regardless because I am not going to change my mailing address to a hotel for a month or 2 and then change everything back that is absolutely absurd, I then asked so what is deemed sufficient relocation and they said utilities, credit card mail, drivers license change, and just the basic stuff needed for a new driver's license, so after this absurdity, I now owe them 180 dollars because AS a contractor I cannot provide any sort of credit card bill, new drivers license or any of that other stuff because my PERMANENT residence has not changed, only a TEMPORARY residence regardless of how long I stay at these other locations. I could be in ******, and they would still say i basically needed to switch all my personal information over to a hotel/ motel to cancel the contract, the customer service was absolutely predatory and uncaring, callous, without any sort of work around suggested all the "wonderful" rep said was "I will notate your account sir" great job baileys spot on customer service!Review fromMaddie B

I moved out of the state a year an a half ago, now there are no chuze locations near me. I walked into the gym (************** location) before I left so that I could cancel my membership. I still got charged. I have called and cancelled and done every stupid task I was told was required in order to cancel, not one but, TWO TIMES. When I call into any location and ask about cancelling my membership I either get "transferred" and nobody ever picks up, or you guys just hang up on me. The two times I did actually talk to a "manager" I was told there's no record of me canceling. I am so beyond frustrated and would never recommend this gym to anyone. You guys continue to charge my account. You guys have over charged me more than 8 times since I blocked your scammer company. You even had the audacity to charge me the yearly re-new fee of $49.99. If I could give you negative stars I would.Chuze Fitness

1 starI wouldn't even give this company a one star review. I canceled service with them in November of 2021. Again I received charges in June 2022. I called and was told my account was in fact closed. Then in October 2022 my bank was charged again. I called my bank and disputed the charges my bank canceled all charges coming in. I do not owe yall any money. I've not lived in Florida for since January of 2022. Everytime I've spoken to a rep ok the phone they're incapable of doing anything. I will be writing reviews everywhere about how trash this company is. I'm being told $389 is going to collections. I'd love to see the services I was provided and how often my membership has been used the past year and a half since I canceled it. There won't be any services provided because I have not been in the state of florida.Review fromRamanda W

1 starSigned up for this gym, which is honestly an AMAZING gym with tons of locations. I called to cancel due to relocation out of state, they need work on training who they have behind the desk answering phones. The young lady was very nice said she would take down my info and send me the cancelation notice. I since moved out of state (did not have the time to look for a new gym) or see if ******** is in my new town. Thought everything was fine, it's been three months and now I am being threatened with collections??? How about a call back after I reached out to them? Maybe not wait 3 months to find out why a member is no longer active? If I never called in and it was my issue, this would NOT be a problem. But it is a problem. I am thinking maybe it's because I called the gym I went to on the regular and not the gym I signed up with, a different location? But the lady i spoke with took my name, told me my membership number and everything so I assumed it was not going to be an issue.
