February 4, I inadvertently ended up having my tax files sent from my Quickbooks Self-Employed TurboTax bundle sent to TurboTax under the Live option. (I didn't even know that was an option). When I went to file my taxes, I was told I had to pay even though I had the tax bundle. I called and spoke with someone from TurboTax. They told me my option was to go ahead and file my taxes, pay the fees ($294.21), then call back in three days to have them reimbursed. (I had added the MAX protection so I knew I had to pay for it.-$59). I went ahead and followed that advice. At the end of three days on February 7, 2025 I called and after speaking with a representative, he told me that I would be receiving $218 and it was all approved. He sent a text confirming that was the case. He also said I should get it within 7 to 10 days. I did not. I called back to find out where the money was. I was told that I would have it by the end of February. No money showed up. I called again and was told that they would send me an email when the money would be deposited. I never got that email, but I did get a random amount of $135.68 deposited to my credit card without any explanation. I spent over 5+ hours on the phone trying to get this rectified. And I am still out $82.32.Initial Complaint

Quickbooks has been holding a ***** creditcard payment from my customer for 2 weeks. I have called over 5 times and each time being told that the payment will go through in 2-3 days. They keep having me go in circles and avoiding getting my payment to me.Initial Complaint

I am paying a monthly subscription for Quickbooks online accounting software. There are constantly issues so I cannot use it. Currently the invoice function is not working so I cannot invoice my clients and cannot collect money since I cannot invoice. I spent 3 hours on a chat screen share session with them troubleshooting. I then spent another hour on the phone and screen share troubleshooting. They did not document all of the troubleshooting, but told me there was a known issue with invoicing and they have no timeline as to when it will be fixed. Each time I call in to try to get an update on the investigation they want me to troubleshoot the same things again. I do not have the time to do that everytime I call and just want an update and I should not have to do the same troubleshoot steps over and over when I have done that with them repeatedly. It is costing me so much money troubleshooting the same thing over and over and also not being able to invoice clients to collect money. The issue has now been known for 10 days with them admitting they have no end in sight and are still looking into the issue. This is absolutely not ok.Initial Complaint

I've had this software 15+ years. Used credit card to renew subscription. Credit Card had issues in November and ** cancelled my subscription. I called several times and was told my subscription was fine. 3 Jan 25 and my software stopped. I was told subscription expired and could not renew at the $600 amount I had originally paid for. I was told I had to renew at new subscriber rate. That's when I submitted first BBB complaint. They wanted to charge $999 for renewal. I agreed and now told that will not work that I had to change format to an online product. A long standing client thrown to the curb like bad salami.Initial Complaint

Invoice #**** with the amount of $720 was deposited on December 5th 2024. Quickbooks never transferred the money into my bank account. I spent hours on the phone with their overseas customer service with no resolution or answer as to where my money went. I was finally told to send a "bank letter" giving them permission to my bank account. They received that last week and still no resolution.Initial Complaint

Deeceptive practices by creating hidden ghost links that redirect users to automated sign-*** for additional services without consent. Over time, theyve fragmented into multiple branches, making account management confusing even for their own support teams. Payments from my clients have been misplaced due to these issues, leaving me unable to reconcile properly or apply payments accurately. I received an email today saying that the price of $283.46 was charged to my account for a service of an annual subscription after I received an email on 10/16/24 with what I was to be charged. I spent 1.5 hours through my lunch with my mom getting passed around from agent to agent who would tell me ok we are going to issue you a refund then saying that they could only offer the price of $189 because they had a rate increase in July, and the refund will be issued on November *******. Note: July is several months before October *******. Which I pointed out. Below is the email with the quote. I already told them several times if they do not resolve this I will be reaching out to the bbb. So they were warned. i have had quickbooks for several months now. everytime i have a question and contact support i get hung up on! getting a manager on the phone is impossible i believe this company are frauds and they need to be looked into.
