I opened the account a couple of months ago and recently discovered that my account had been placed on hold. Upon calling the customer service, I was informed that it was a system-generated error and that my account would be reopened. However, after several weeks passed without any update, I called again and was told that my account had been closed based on a QuickBook review. I am grateful that I only had $50 in the account, which I had opened to test the service before transferring a larger amount, as I had read negative reviews online. I was told that I would not be able to retrieve my money and that I cannot dispute the decision. I am disappointed that QuickBook Money's business checking service turned out to be a fraud, and it's unfortunate that they continue to deceive customers in this manner.Initial Complaint

I recently encountered a significant issue with my QuickBooks merchant service account, as it was unexpectedly disabled. Despite my repeated attempts to reach out to QuickBooks for clarification, I've been met with a lack of transparency and unhelpful responses. Finally, during my last call, I was informed that the account was disabled due to alleged disputes from multiple customers. However, this explanation doesn't align with the nature of my business. As a commercial moving company serving high-profile clients for over 45 years, we've never encountered a single merchant dispute, let alone multiple disputes in a single month. When I pressed for further information regarding these disputes and why I wasn't notified about them, QuickBooks was unable to provide satisfactory answers. They even refused to disclose the identities of the disputing customers, citing client protection. I emphasized that all our clients sign contracts, making any dispute easily verifiable and potentially invalid. However, QuickBooks remained unyielding in their stance and refused to provide additional details.Adding to the frustration is the challenge of communication, as it's evident that English may not be the first language of the representatives I've spoken to. This language barrier only exacerbates the difficulty in understanding and resolving the situation.Furthermore, the situation has escalated as QuickBooks placed me on a MATCH list, which essentially bars me from accepting credit card payments for a minimum of five years. This severe consequence adds another layer of frustration and detriment to my business, especially considering the lack of clear justification or proper communication from QuickBooks regarding these actions. To make matters worse, QuickBooks is now holding $2,289.82 in client payments that they refuse to release to me.Initial Complaint

I was just informed that Im not allowed I was also informed that the checking account is correct & its not an error on my end. ******************* (agent) was the only agent that was able to at least provide this information to me. The jerk agent in collections was rude, disrespectful & talked to me as if Im stupid. He informed me that its my responsibility to make sure once I submit the link account information that its my responsibility to make sure QB and MI first (my credit union). How am I suppose to make sure to software connect correctly, Im not a computer.I was first informed the checking account is correct but no one could answer why they are taking the funds from my savings for the payroll but my taxes from the checking. I was informed that the collection department waived the *** of $100 but wanted me to pay the wire transfer fee. I will not be doing that. Currently, Im out of $155 in *** fees from my bank due to QB trying to withdraw from the wrong account 5 times. No one once said i apologize for the error lets see how we can correct it. I was informed that I had to pay the wire transfer fee to release the hold which is another fee that is costing me (for an error on your end). The interesting thing about this matter is this couldve been resolved on 05/07/24 when I called but the agent I spoke to said its an issue with your bank. I was also informed by ******************* that the hold will be moved on the 14th of the funds are received. She states it should come out of my checking account because the matter was resolved. Then she asked could I move the funds to my savings just in case. There should be not be any funds coming out of the savings account if she resolved the matter. Why should I move money to my savings account if youre saying funds should come out of my checking account. This is misleading information and feels like a scam to continue to get funds out of my business. If this was an error on my end, I would own it but this an error on YOUR END!Initial Complaint

I own a small business and have an accountwith Quickbooks, Quickbooks checking, and Quickbooks payments. I use their POS system to process my transactions. I signed up for instant deposit as well because I usually need my money quickly in order to turn around and pay for more supplies. All of my purchases did not come in instantly, and they state that they are in review. There is no explanation as to why, and I need my money. There is no reason for them to hold 100% of my purchases out of nowhere..Initial Complaint

Quickbooks continues to charge for inactive contractors and prevents me and their own representatives from remove contractors which allows Quickbooks to charge our business a higher rate. Additionally, quickbooks charged $2500 for live accounting and bookkeeping, however *************** did not resolve the issue nor did they clean up as promised. Additionally, it takes at least one hour per call to even be helped, so its as if they are intentionally scamming and overcharging and refuse to remedy issues that cost nearly $500 per month and $20,000 per year frauduently.Initial Complaint

On Monday 3/11/24, our organization uncovered our previous Accountant had stolen money from our company. Then as an attempt to hide it, she changed all of the account recovery email addresses to her own, in addition to the recovery phone numbers on our account. She then removed access from our ************ along with our COO. We have submitted 5 tickets that were completed by the assistance of QuickBooks representatives. However, each case that is created is denied. On 3/18/24, a new ticket was created for a case to have issues resolved, only to be denied 10mins after the phone call ended. It's as if they are looking at our information, verifying it, then intentionally clicking deny even though our information is accurately input, verified by QuickBooks representatives, promises to resolve, to no avail, on a continuous cycle of insanity. Until this is resolved we potentially run the risk of losing our business due to not being able to: pay employees, pay venders, access employee files, complete & file taxes, audit our business, or access financials.
