I purchased Quickbooks for my business. I purposely did not setup the credit card payments or attach a bank account as we did not want to accept credit card pymnts. However when the invoice went out it allowed the customer to pay by credit card. Since we didn't have one I then setup a merchant accnt with QB, but within 1 hour decided to close it. We never received the funds. QB merchant accnt confirm they have it and in 60 business day they would refund the customer, now it's after ****** and they said we have to file a complaint with DOR! they can not refund the customer. QB merchant account has the money and there is no one over there that can help me. I know have to go back to the customer to ask them to dispute the credit card charge the amount is $6375. Bad business practice. I have spent hours and hours on the phone with them to resolve. Over 2 1/2 hours just today for them to tell me they can not do anything. They took the money fraudulently try to get you to sign up for the ******* accnt and now wont refund to the customer. I purchased QuickBooks new bill pay option. Last week it stopped letting me pay my bills. I've contacted support and my account representative (*************************) , and they said someone will contact me and get this issue fixed. Now ****** will not take it's been almost a week, and no one will return my phone call. This is very frustrating.Initial Complaint

In Nov 2022 there was an issue with my account that resulted in me paying their 3rd party a settlement for funds owed. (Not disputing this other than speaking with their representative at the time gave me bad information). Apparently during the settlement or shortly their after my account was terminated, no explanation given, and I reactivated the payroll service in Jan 2023( according their representative ***** so I had the option to use direct deposit in the event I needed to. Fast forward to today (10/10/2023) I find out there is a hold on direct deposit services. I used online chat in hopes to get it resolved however they stated there was a balance due. I informed them they were incorrect and they stated to call the 800#. When speaking with **** apparently the account was terminated and cannot be used until 12 months after the termination date. I advised this wasnt explained to me and that I had been paying for the service for over 10months. I get an email today stating they would not be issuing a refund. If its in their system that I cant use the service then they are indirectly stealing my money by me paying for a service that they know I can not use. For as big as an outfit that Intuit is you would think they would have exceptional service and refund me my $600. I want this to be resolved and just want my refund back.Initial Complaint

I would like the company master admin updated to the correct name. The request has been submitted and approved, however, QuickBooks representatives have updated the incorrect company account. We have spent over 40 billable hours on this issues. There is a larger potential fraud issue since a terminated employee still has access to our bank accounts through QuickBooks.Initial Complaint

QuickBooks took funds out of my account for the amount of $588.47 for disputes from customers of mine witch it is within QuickBooks policy and hold it for review for me to file documents that its not supposed to be disputed. I did my part by filing the necessary documentation for the funds being returned back to me but instead Quickbooks returned the funds to customers every time they disputed and won't return it back to me even though I have rights to the funds. I would like to get some help to get this matter resolved and to get the payments back to me that's rightfully to my business and not to do this again.Initial Complaint

Quickbooks charged me for an account that I have no access to. Today, they charged my debit card $20 after they told me they had closed all of my accounts. There is no phone number for me to call and nobody that is willing to help. The invoice #: ************** for Company ID ending in **** in QB Self Employed. I had to cancel my debit card to ensure that they no longer charge me. Which is a massive inconvenience.Initial Complaint

we used quickbooks for billing over 8 years, never had problemas before; On march 20th we received two payments from customer by credit card one for ***** and second for ***** total of 5,850.since march 23 we transfer from quickbooks checking account to ***** Fargo acc, didn't went thru. money is been kept by quickbooks saying its under review, I have all emails even audios from customers service requesting money been delivered. Weeks went by, months went by, we call and call but no the only answer was money is under review, we have all documents in order and customer explained ********************** money is accurate for service payment we provide, we do hood cleaning all over **********. we been begging money being released we are a family owned company, we need the money to take care of all payments and our family itself. I called QuickBooks subscription via telephone on June 14th. The end date of my subscription was mid August. I backed up my files on my desktop. I recently tried to access the files that were entered during my subscription and found that I can't access anything. All of my tax and payroll entries are locked. QuickBooks has now explained that I am not able to access MY tax records unless I have an active subscription, (never during that cancellation call was that ever mentioned, nor anyway to avoid losing them. I need access to my files for tax purposes. This is crazy that this company locks up consumers tax information and holds it hostage. I started an account online at ********************** online directly through their website. It was a simple start account for my business. A couple weeks later I get an email my account ******* closed when I called they said I never had an account with those *******************, then I was told the system duplicated my account so I have three accounts with them. I can not access my account when I try it said there was no account with that email found but when I call they can see my account. They confirmed my accounts was compromised, the admin email was changed and a ********************* or something was added on my account. I have no clue who this is, Ive called four times requesting to cancel my account since it was clearly hacked and they are not cancelling my account I was told on their recorded line it was cancelled and i would get a refund when I called back they said it wasnt cancelled and they cant refund me since I didnt pay directly with them but I did and my account proves it. Its been two days and no one will cancel my account, no one will refund me even though my account was hacked/compromised and no one notified me the email on my account was changed.Initial Complaint

I have been with QuickBooks for over five years now they took a deposit for $7650 from me and put it on hold with no explanation and when I called to try to get information Im only told that I will not get the money back. How can it be when my company has did nothing wrong.
