2023 QuickBooks Desktop. Blocked my entry in my computer 2/27/2024, so I can't access. I have been with QuickBooks for since 1995. For the past couple years, the desktop version kept going up in price. This year it had went to $650 and they also say this is the last year for desktop and then they are going completely cloud base. To each their own of how they run their business. So, for this I have opted to not resign with them and pay the cost they are demanding. Today, they completely locked me out of the program on my desktop computer. I can no longer get my contacts of see estimates I gave for the past 24 years using there service. This is on my computer, so locking me out of a program I PAID FOR, is not right and should be investigated. I will go to the top of the chain, including here, Yelp, state complaint board, Face Book, Next Door and beyond. My contacts and estimates are mine and I paid for that program. Please BBB help in this matter, because QuickBooks is losing BIG money and this must be stopped. LATE STAGE CAPITALISM CORPORATE PREDATORY BEHAVIOR IS IN EFFECT AT QUICKBOOKS.Have been trying to receive my money from Quickbooks. Any ability to receive funds is put on excessive hold times ( weeks to months ), with reps telling me I CANNOT contact their higher *** or the back-office department to verify pertinent information they need, to give me my funds. You may only talk to a customer service rep who cannot actually give you any help. They tell you they will forward your complain and that's all they can do. They tell you to call Saturday, and then you call Saturday and its closed. ( See attached screenshots ).They cite 'security measures' as a reason why your funds are on hold, that will take 3 - 5 business days and that end up turning into MONTHS, with NO CALL BACKS or replies. When you question how did 5 days turn into months they state they're sorry, but they will "escalate" this issue. After you tell them every other rep has escalated the issue, to no help, they just say this time will be better.They also say the holds are tripped automatically by their tech with no way to override it. They have a system run by faulty AI and reps who don't speak good english. Some American businessman on their board is keeping all the human operation costs in their pockets. Your money is basically trapped in their system. They hold your money from a vendor, because of "security issues" and "verification needed," but stonewall you. I've sent them my bank statements over 10 times, verified my social around 6 times, verified my checking accounts 8 times, my id 5 times, my utility bills 3 times, and still no money or answer. I cannot pay bills because of them and they've left me go hungry MANY times. I've had over 12 Case Numbers opened and closed with no answer as to why. My guess is they're keeping the funds as long as they can to earn interest off of them. I just started using quickbooks and I was waiting for a payment to hit my account. However, ********************** decided to review my customers payment when approved the payment but now they wanted to review the deposit!An agent called me asking for more info which I gladly gave. Then about 5 mins after we hung up the agent called again saying that after a review they decided to close my account as a business decision. So when I asked about the payment they said they wouldnt release it and to have my client file a dispute. What is my client filing a dispute on? Services were received and my customer paid me and was satisfied. So why is quickbooks encouraging someone to file a fraudulent dispute?They also said I could refund the payment but you cant refund a held deposit.Initial Complaint

We have been using Intuit payroll through **** of America for many years then couple years ago QuickBooks just took over and charge double the fee without sending any official letter. I have been doing the same way the last couple years through QuickBooks online to submit W2 and 1099 contractors tax/report filing to IRS. This year in Jan. 2024, I did the same way filing 1099 report to IRS and QuickBooks sent/ pop up the summary screen saying that I'm done filing my contractors report and had the summary page for me. Today, Feb 15 one of my contractors concerned that they haven't received W9 report. I contacted QuickBooks and turned out they change the way and the place on the QuickBooks app. to file the 1099 report. I told *******. name ******* that " this is not my fault, I already clicked submitting files and it gave me the report that it is DONE now you told me it's not submitted!!?? How do I supposed to know the new place to click if you guys did not send me any notification or instructions but only said online that I'm done with my filing!!? This is not my fault so if IRS give our corporation a fine, your company QuickBooks should be responsible for it. She put me on hold for almost an hour to talk to her boss and come back saying QuickBooks WILL NOT responsible for any of it and just tell me to click submitting filing today. This is RIDICULOUS !! what I'm paying for monthly?? to you guys QuickBooks then later all of your lacking in your online app. mistakes fall on us because you gave us an incorrect confirmation.!!!!I DEMAND TO GET THE REFUND FOR MY MONTHLY PAYMENT AND IF IRS GIVE ME A FINE YOU QuickBooks WILL NEED TO TAKE CARE OF IT.Initial Complaint

My company has been using Quickbooks for years and we have had numerous issues with them. They have taken funds out of the account for client disputes / chargebacks and when we provide documentation to them to respond to those chargebacks, they failed to provide it to the bank costing our business thousands of dollars at a time. They continue to be negligent by being unresponsive and having call centers in *************** reach out back to us without any ability to help us out and resolve the issue. Service is subpar and the incompetence is concerning. This has caused undue stress to me and my business. I had money deposited in to my account at ******************** and at first I was put on a hold I understand that that it was my first time deposit so everything was okay then I got a email from them saying that the funds are available I try using my card and then it didn't work then I tried to call and get some help and they couldn't help so then I tried to transfer it to my other business account and it was reversed you would think that it went back on the account but then they can't find it they don't know were it went I just want them to find my money and send me a check and I'll deposit it in my account thank you for taking the time to do thisInitial Complaint

My account was closed for no apparent reason and wasnt given one when asked. They have been holding my money and will not release nor reopen my account so I can get my money out. There excuse was its a business decision. Umm excuse me what business decision. I would like my money back. this is ahapppneing to everyone. If you look up their reviews they are stealing money from us an closing our accounts
