    On 07/25/24 I ordered a report from Truth Finder on their website.It was a one time order for 3.99 and since I used it once I was ok with it.This was charged to my bank account I am not disputing that!-They also charged me for a monthly subscription of ***** Website said I could cancel at anytime so when I got the report and saw it wasnt what they said it was,I immediately on 07/25/2024 cancelled the subscription!The ***** was shown as pending on my bank account today 07/30/2024 it shows as charged!I called my bank this morning and I put in a dispute in which they accepted, but I also am disputing with the bbb in the hopes that they return my money I paid for a subscription I have no use for!They did not deliver the service they said I would receive!I am enclosing screenshots of my bank account and the only email I got from truthfinder!I cannot get into the site anymore which I am assuming is because I cancelled the subscription on 07/25/2024

    I have identified that TruthFinder has breach my information without my consent. The company is showing all of my information and history, information of all of my formal addresses email address, phone numbers. Also, my living status if Im currently alive.     This website collects sensitive information such as phone number, home address, relatives, and so on. I attempted to go through their opt-out process but the process itself took more than 20 minutes of loading sliders and refreshes. Near the end, they simply ask for my name, email, and more and have a checkbox for receiving marketing emails. I couldn't actually complete their opt-out process on my own, so I'm seeking help to remove my information from their website. I would like information related to me '*********************' from '********, Ca' Age '24' to be removed from their website. This includes, but is not limited to, my phone number, home address, past addresses, connection to relatives, etc.

    Date of transaction 07/09/24 The product is extremely misleading. It leads you to believe it is uncovering shocking information on the search. Once behind the pay wall, it gives you absolutely zero insightful information. Literally zero informative intel.Also the website promises "friendly customer service" but they have 2 phone numbers which both lead to an automated message about how because of staffing they are unable to take your call, and then it hangs up on you. Not only should refunds be an option, but also customer service should be available in some form or fashion when barrier to entry is $28. They need to be stopped from scamming future clients. The product is an absolute scam service that is ripping people off.

    I have used Truthfinders services multiple times over the years,to see what information is online about myself and my family. On July 4th and July 5th ,I tried unsuccessfuly on the Truthfinder website to have my online report "supressed",as is my legal right. After going through the verification request process twice,I was not able to supress my report,the website said rediculously,that no information was found with my name and birthdate,seriously? I have viewed my report repeatedly,and my name and birthdate are correct. I tried again today and got the same response

    Today, and yesterday I waded through hundreds of pages of incomplete, confusing, fictitious, and undocumented information sold by TruthFinder.Honestly the best information was provided when they didn't provide any information.     When I plug in my name and city that I live in through Truthfinder it provides personal information about me that I did not give this company permission to publish. I have gone to the website and have filled out the appropriate material to have this information removed and it still remains. This company and others like it open the door to Identity theft for millions of people by making this information so easy to obtain. Please help to stop this problem!

    I paid for the service to get a marriage certificate or know if somebody was married and nothing of that nature was on the report. It is also claiming on the website it is backed up by BBB.

    HI! I wrote Truth finder several times to take down my public information from on-line. I wrote them a year ago and it still appears to give all my private information to the public which is dangerous. I am not allowing Truth Finder or Truth Search .com to sell or provide my private information to the public. I called them on June 21, 2024 and spoke to *******. He said they take down the link. I wrote them also on November 11, 2018 and March 13, 2024 requesting to take down MY PERSONAL information. I think they should be punished for selling my information.     I have already filed a complaint and the BBB got a response that said my PRIVATE INFORMATION for NO ONE to sell or have is on line for everyone to see. I have NO PRIVACY due to company. I will take legal action next. They replied that the info would be taken down but the link and information is still on line, This company should be shut down and fined for taking people private information and posting publicly. This could be dangerous and get people killed. The company responded to you the BBB and said the information would be taken down but has not done so. The information that is MINE not Theirs is still posted. I wrote them several time and have NO RESPECT or people's privacy. I like to escalate this complaint to further action.     In the event that ************** is still seeing her information on TruthFinder, it might be cached on the device she used to search. To fix this, we recommend clearing the cache on the device she used to perform the search. This will assist in removing the link from her device.
