      Ive been to vet co shot clinic for years my pets and I have always had a wonderful experience. However I just went today to the *************** location for routine vaccinations and heartworm testing. The vet was extremely inexperienced and was very nervous and shaking. He tried to get blood for the heartworm testing three separate times on both of my dogs and couldnt get any blood from any one of them after poking them multiple times what a terrible experience now we have to go to the vet to complete the service. This is exactly what I was trying to avoid now we have to spend double the amount of money and my poor dogs are traumatized by this whole experience never again now we will just go straight to the vet from now on

      Took my puppy to get her last round of vaccinations and had a terrible experience not only do they not give her the total dose that she was due, but they sent us home with the wrong medication. How do I not noticed I wouldve given my dog four times the amount of heartworm medication I had to go back 20 minutes out of my way to get the correct medication. And they are constantly trying to upsell. I had to argue my position before they would listen to me.

      I needed vetco clinic to change the name of the owner of the pet and refused to change it. They could put the owner on the account but not on the rabies certificate. The name needs to be change so that it reflect the handicap owner for the *** lettters. They will not ******* the name

      Waited over 1.5 hours for scheduled appt because they took a walk in with 3 dogs ! Techs over changed for a separate vaccine which we got in a 6-in-1. $55 ! Called corporate submitted a claim it was dented because someone did read ENTIRE pets shot record where it says she got the 6-in-1. Called 2 weeks later was told a supervisor called me 3 days earlier which of corse no one did. Asked to speak to a supervisor today at 10am and no one available. Said theres nothing they can do! We have the receipt showing the over charged. Waiting for supervisor to call back which prob wont happen!

      Vetco refused to treat my dog with medications for his acute coughing without my spending almost $800 for x-rays and other diagnostics. I could not afford the almost $800, as I lost my job. He will be 15 this year and has been diagnosed with tracheal collapse, a heart murmur, a grade 4/6 systolic murmur (left parasternal), and probable heart disease. As well as two lipomas: 4 cm soft sq mass right thorax - (2) small 1-1.5 cm soft sq masses cranioventral abdomen. He also has lenticular sclerosis in both eyes. He coughs most of the day and sometimes has asthma fits where he can barely breathe. It is upsetting listening to his chronic coughing and sometimes gasping for air.I made the painful decision to set aside my feelings and send him over the rainbow bridge. I made the appointment with Vetco, and spent 4 days crying prior to it. I gave him all the fattening favorite treats and dinners, worked myself into a frenzy the day of, and went to the appointment, only to be told they will not do it. Instead, he will remain gasping for air, coughing, and slowly declining, with ZERO treatment. Why do I pay for monthly ********** premium when you will not treat him? I went through H*** with your vets refusing to treat then denying him peace. I WILL be suing for emotional distress, etc., etc., etc.

      The doctor is very unprofession. They refused to give us the prescription we want because they don't have the medication in stock. They don't allow us to purchase the medication we want on other places.

      Vetco staff and vet in ***** were dismissive, unprofessional, discriminatory and aggressive in handling our year old rottweiler puppy just because we had a basket muzzle on her. They did not complete the wellness exam but okayed her to be administered her vaccines. Our pup was whimpering and choking during the administration of the vaccines. My husband started recording with his phone and was told to stop recording and leave the room. Afterward they made a statement on the notes that our dog is no longer allowed to visit any Vetco Clinics in the future! We have been loyal Petco customers for a decade. It is sad that they are affiliated with these veteranarians and staff that are supposed to have the best interests and trusted care for our loved pets. I am tremendously disappointed and want to warn other animal lovers and pet owners of such poor service and mistreatment.

      Vetco charged me for a Kitten Pro Plan that provided all vaccinations, worming and microchipping for my kittens in one package. My kitten got out of the house, so I sought my records on my pets microchipping. I called into the customer service line and was told that for some reason they had not microchipped either of my pets (I brought two). I highly recommend that you do not use this service if you care anything about your pets. I don't feel confident that they even gave my pets all of their shots as they should have. My pet is lost and now I don't even have the microchip to rely on. I don't feel even a refund for the microchipping compensates me for my loss.

      WORST COMPANY EVER! THEY ARE THEIFS! I purchased the 3 visit vaccination package for cat and on my second visit was told they did not have the feline leukemia vaccine. I was told by the VETCO employees on site to schedule my visit and hopefully the vaccination would be in by then.. Next appointment comes and still no vaccine available. Customer service is denying me a refund stating I have 1 more month to try and find a location that carries the vaccination. EXCUSE ME? Not to mention he has missed both feline leukemia vaccinations at this point. All locations should carry it if they sell it! I made the appropriate appointments and they failed to have the product on hand. How is that my fault?! Please do not take your precious fur babies to these scam artists! I wish I had done more research before giving them a dime!

      What a nightmare. Usually go to my Vet, but wanted to try Vetco for my dogs rabies vaccines due to price and location. I went to the Vetco (Petco) on Westport Ave. Norwalk, CT.’ My appointment was scheduled for 11:05 and I was told to get there by 10:55 which I did. When I arrived there were 4 kother families with their dogs before me and I had to wait on line for over a 1/2 hour standing holding my dog. It was hot and I was getting so sick from the heat and standing that I almost fainted. I finally had to leave. It was so hot that the woman signing everyone in had to have a little fan clipped to her podium/stand. On top of this, there was a filthy scale to weight all of the dogs. No cleaning in between. No hygienic practices. When I left there were still families waiting to be seen. The vaccines hadn't even started being administered yet and this was at 11:27 am. I gave Vetco a shot but after needing to leave due to unorganized and exceedingly long wait time, on top of nausea from the heat and worrying about cleanliness for my girl, I won't be going back again. What a waste of a Saturday morning. Very disappointed.

      Thank you. I also forgot to mention that an email was sent to me to fill out all of the info for my dog, but it didnt work. I filled out the info and once submitted, it responded that the submission failed. I tried using a different browser, and the same: So I had to wait to get there to update the info. I dont know if this was one of the issues that caused the back up of families? In the future I would just have people wait in their cars with their pets and text them once its their turn. Or find another way. Its also dangerous having so many dogs in line when some are young and misbehaved. I wasnt the only person who had to hold my dog.
