I made a appt with a ****** in the ******** ***** area via there app style seat. I never made the appt and was charged $45.90. When I set up the appt the web site is kind of glitchy and sketchy and I didn't set up a account to prevent from getting hit with unwanted emails. I disputed the charge with my bank and have emailed style seat this morning I received a txt from a number I didn't know and I never saw this when signing up for services with style seatBusiness Response

As they mentioned, StyleSeat only provides the software that allows professionals to accept payments or charge cash through our app. All charges are collected directly by your professional. StyleSeat has no authority to issue any refunds on behalf of these professionals. We also see you were advised to reply back to the Support agent helping you if you didnt hear back from your Professional so they could continue to investigate this for you. Since you were unable to be at your appointment and didnt cancel the appointment, you were charged the full cost of the service booked in accordance with your Professionals No-Show Late Cancellation Policy. I scheduled an appointment in StyleSeat. For 3 days I requested the address for the location of said appointment. On the day of my appointment; I received a message from the stylist requesting to make changes to my appointment. It appears she didnt have a location but that she uses the home of a friend for her appointments. After I explained that Im not sure of my next availability; the professional proceeds to charge me for an appointment that I was never given and for service that I never received. After reviewing the terms of my appointment; I can only be charged if I; the customer cancel the appointment. However; the stylist not only canceled the appointment but she werent able to honor the date and time and requested that I come at another appointed time. The cancellation was not my doing and neither was it my fault.Business Response

I am a professional using the StyleSeat app to scheduling and payment of my services. Recently there has been issues with deposits. My bank informed me that StyleSeat tried to withdraw a deposit made through my StyleSeat account. I would like to cancel my StyleSeat account but I also want to collect funds due to me! Ive reached over the last three days and theres has been no resolution.Business Response

On january 29th I had an appointment, which I paid $60 in cash. I was then charge $60 through the app. I reached out to styleseat directly and you told me there was nothing you can do. I then reached out to the stylist and she lied and told me she reversed the charge, which she did not. I waited a week and I attempted to reverse it through my bank, which was unsucessful. I was charged $120 for a $60 service and you guys basically ignored my issue and allowed one of your stylist to scam me and then ignore all my calls. In addition, your refund policy states when a client pays in cash the stylist is suppose to **** the appointment as complete and choose cash as the payment method and if not they can reverse the charge. One of your stylist did not follow the guidelines set in place by you and you are holding your client responsible.Business Response

It looks like the payment was sent back via CashApp and the Pro provided a screenshot. We've included the screenshots here as well. We're also not seeing a charge through StyleSeat associated with this email address. If you were charged outside of StyleSeat, we're unable to initiate refunds for offline transactions. We're so sorry for the experience that you had and would love to turn this experience around.

Im on behalf of ******* ,he is incarcerated and advised a few persons to disable account. The password does not work neither does the email. Ive reached out multiple times over a course of two weeks. No response! We need to deactivate the app because its charging clients and although ******* will issue free services its still unfair.Business Response

Styleseat is taking money from my clients. They continuously update the app without warning to add new ways to take money from clients. They took $120 from my clients ***************************** on July 12, all the went to styleseat. My client service did not cost. They wont let me delete my account. They lie to force clients to spend money.Business Response
