I am a professional user of the ****************** account. My account is StyleSeat.com/lashedbyvictoria444 On Aug 6th 2022, I was paid $173 by 2 clients for lash services I performed. That money was visible in my account under Net Earnings however, under Next Deposit where the money will go when its available for me to access.. it only said .86 cents. StyleSeat has no phone number for emergencies such as this being my only source of income and I cannot AFFORD for money that I EARNED to magically come up missing. I sent them an email in detail explaining my situation, equipped with screenshots of my deposit history to show that I did not access it and I am being truthful. I am extremely concerned because this is the second time this has happened. The week of July 24th I showed $290 set to be deposit in my account, and the next time I checked the app it went down to $190. Thats a total of $273 that they owe me. I have faithfully used this app for over a year and they get a percentage of my earnings ANYWAY based on growth appointments and first time clients they send my way. This is not only life altering mistakes theyre making, but unethical and immoral.Business Response

My clients are always being overcharged more than what my services cost. StyleSeat told me they take a little extra from my client without my clients knowing which is THEFT. And it makes me look like Im not being honest with my clients so Ive been losing a lot of clientele and money due to StyleSeat being fraudulent, stealing, constantly changing things without informing me or my permission. They also take SO MUCH money from me when my clients pay through the app. My client paid me $250 for a service which was already discounted & StyleSeat only gave me back $150 so they took a total of $100 from me!! On top of that they dont have customer service number so they email you automated messages all day about having a long wait for a response!!! This company is fraudulent, they steal and they are bad business!!!! I will be deleting my account next month once I finish out my bookings!!!Business Response

Booked a hair appt on StyleSeat for braids and put down a booking deposit. Then was contacted by stylist to put down a $40 deposit through cash app to secure my spot. Which was a bit strange but I did it anyway. She end up canceling on me a few days later and never refunded my deposit even though my appt wasnt scheduled to be for another few weeks. Her name is *************************** and you can literally ****** her name and see all Yw complaints against her. She is fraud and I want my $40 back for servicesBusiness Response

*** used this website for a couple appointments and never had any issues going to the appointments and getting in contact with the stylist. *** booked a recent appointment and when I showed up to the appointment I did not see the stylist and I was not able to get in contact with the stylist. Messaged her again asking for a refund and I got no response. I contacted customer support and they were not helpful at all. I showed them receipts of me trying to reach out to this woman and yet theres no sympathy that my money was taken. I am a college student so when I save up money to buy or do something I am expecting a service and with this I just basically put free money into this womans pockets.Business Response

Yesterday I tried to cancel an appointment that is 2 weeks out. According to styleseat, appointments can be canceled 24 hours in advance with no penalty. When I tried to cancel I get a message stating that I cannot cancel and must call stylist to cancel. My stylists said she will be penalized if she cancels the appointment. I have sent messages with no response. I tried to delete my Account but of course appointment has to be canceled first. I am a very busy woman so to jump through all of these hoops to cancel an appointment 2 weeks away is unacceptable and I will never use styleseat or that stylists again. She should know better than to use an app with such bad business practices. I have never had this happen when trying to cancel before so I think it is because of the amount of the appointment. If I am charged for this appointment Im 2 weeks, we will be in court.Business Response

On July 29 2022 I had one appointment for a cut and color which brought my service up to $120. This client is a set client of mine, that booked through my booking link I sent her personally, so that means Styleseat isnt owed 25%. After the appointment upon checking out I go to instant deposit my funds and theyre not there! There is nothing to instant deposit. I saw where the money was taken off of my client card, we were standing there looking together, the problem is the money was never released to me. Styleseat captured the payment but didnt release my funds to me. Its not hard to miss when I only had 1 client that day. When I go to check my card transactions it showed that the money was charged but it definitely did not go to me! Fast forward I go to look at my card transactions, yesterday and all of them are gone! I even adjusted the date settings and its still gone. However I do have screenshots of everything from the previous day before everything just disappeared I also received a charge back for $6 , which was strange Id like a explanation as to why that happened. And Id also like my $120 I do not work for free, I have bills just like anyone else. Another problem is anytime I support a ticket Styleseat claims that none of the emails that I contact them through arent associated with any accounts they have on file, Ive also got screenshots of this and my email on file on their website! Also Ive submitted ticket after ticket and nothing has been resolved, it takes the longest for them to reach back. I used to really love this platform, however it has gotten greedy and to repetitive, I shouldnt have to hawk my payments down for something that was meant to destress and make my business run smoothly, has become more of a nightmare.Business Response

The site says that I will not be charged if I cancel at least 24 hrs before my appt starts. I cannot reach the stylist and my appt is on 8/6. To be safe, I decided to cancel and had planned to use styleseats to book another stylist, but the app will not let me cancel.Business Response

I booked an appointment on styleseat with a stylist named ****. I was supposed to receive a $15% discount which DID NOT get applied during checkout. The bigger issue is that the stylist has no business address listed, only a zip code. I did not notice this when I booked, but sent the stylist a message asking for the address. She never responded. I did not feel comfortable with the booking due to both aforementioned problems, so I have canceled. I should not be charged for the appointment since I canceled 12 days prior to the appointment date. However, I do not want to be charged a booking fee either. I do not know why your system did not honor the 15% discount since **** was listed as one of the participants for the discount. I also do not know styleseat can allow a stylist on the site who has no business address listed. I had concerns that perhaps she is working out of her home or somewhere unsavory, and her lack of response to my inquiry made me even more uncomfortable.I reached out to styleseat 3 times via email. The system sends you round and round to an endless loop to file for help, but you get no response to your inquiries. I want to make sure that I am refunded the booking fees I was charged, and I want assistance with removing my information from the styleseat platform. I feel as if I am being scammed by a nonexistent stylist with no address and I do not want anyone trying to charge my credit card further.Business Response

StyleSeat has charged me for a deposit for a service that was unavailable. I was charged through StyleSeat for a slot that the service provider told me was unavailable. Not only did they charge me for the amount but they have no customer service on the website for a refund. They refuse to refund me even though it was made clear by the service provider they do not take deposit. Now the day of my appointment I have no service to receive AND they have taken my money. There is no customer service line for a refund and their website is simply an FAQ forum.Business Response

This company should have better provisions for clients. I was robbed of my money based on the practices of this company, the stylist did not show up but I was still charged. There should be a better way to provide better services to clients to ensure this does not keep happening.Business Response
