I am completely disgusted with this company if thats what you want to call them! From them making up discounts to take more money from you, I pay $35 a month and they still take huge discounts and offer the clients discounts but take it out of its money. They do not have a way to file a complaint. Ive been using their booking site since 2016 and their services have declined almost as if someone else owns the business due to the drastic changes about the company. They deal with money transactions but we dont have a live representative to speak with so most of our money issues never get handled. I believe StyleSeat is the reason so many people scam on their site, I feel like they encourage it by the way they run this business now! Its almost unreal! I RECOMMEND A COMPLETE SHUT DOWN OF THIS COMPANY.StyleSeat

Horrible website that I was able to book a hair stylist on StyleSeats website and the person was no longer doing hair. The individual felt bad and no longer has an account with StyleSeat. You think the software would check for that. And it also charged my credit card the full amount of my appointment even though I never got my hair done with this particular stylist.StyleSeat

You were able to book and auto payment appointment with this Pro because it was still active. We're seeing that you reached out to us and we also reached out to the Pro with no response, at which time, we issued you a full refund due to the lack of response from your Pro. This should be against the law. I'm leaving my stylist because she uses this app. They have ridiculous fees and always attempts to charge your card when you have clearly cancelled appointments or rescheduled. I'm writing the ***************** STAY AWAY!!!!StyleSeat

I booked an appointment on StyleSeat with a business that said it was new to the website (*********************). She had her IG listed (@glamourgirlhairx) and had really good reviews so I booked and confirmed my appointment. The woman texted me a few hours later saying she requires a deposit via cashapp (@lamontepay) or ***********************) to secure my appointment. I didn't have an issue with this because I've dealt with businesses in the past that chose not to charge in the app to avoid the fees. All seemed good until she texted me again saying there was an issue with my appointment, StyleSeat didn't confirm it on her end and she sent me a screenshot with my name and appointment time. We went back and forth for a while, and finally she said since it has not confirmed my appointment I need to pay in full via Cashapp to hold my spot. I informed her that's what the deposit was for. I tried searching for her account on ********** and the profile was no longer there. However, she was still sending me screenshots so I'm assuming she either changed the name or made a new profile. I haven't been able to reach anyone at StyleSeat to report this person. I'm not even sure how they're able to make profiles with false information. I realized I've been scammed I just wish StyleSeats would do better at screening the professionals so no one else is scammed out of their money. This has been such a horrible and stressful experience.StyleSeat

Hi,I was scammed by a profile on your platform under the name is under ************************* and her location is ********* but she is booking in *******,**. I have an appointment with her tomorrow at 9a and Ive already given her a deposit but cash app of $75. (Ive already contacted cash app). I will be charged on tomorrow for the remaining balance and she is no where to be found and the phone number she has on your website is disconnected. I am canceling the appointment but do not want to be charged. Please help with this.Update:I was charged $117 because if I had not it would have been $234 for a no show and there is no way of contacting this stylist. Please refund me my full amount plus the $6 booking fee to reserve this fraud.StyleSeat

ZERO STARS.. I booked an appointment and paid a $20 deposit for an appointment the next day.. I entered all of my credit card information and email and hit submit. I then got an error message saying the system is down try again later. But I also received notifications from my cash app telling $20 was charged to my account. I reached out to the stylist on IG and asked if she could check her account and she blocked me.. @Locsbymomo. I went down my list of messages because shes done mine and my daughters hair before, I had her number. I said I was confused as to why she had blocked me when Im just a client that booked on the the provided website and money was taken but no appointment was made and her response was Ive answered your question have a good day Luv.. i reached out to styleseat to see if they can help in anyway and their response was they gave me listed as booking. Even tho I sent in all of the pictures with time stamps of when I hit submit and got the error message along with the payment time stamp from my account no help.. These stylist have us book on these sites and they both can careless of something goes wrong and a client is out of money..StyleSeat

They dont deserve any start at all! I booked an appointment with them and soon realized that the professional did not have an address nor listed. I tried calling and texting her but no answer. This company doesnt have a way for you to get in contact with anyone. Its set up to scam people. When she finally text me back she told me shes moving out of town and doesnt know why they would let me book her because her time slots should be blocked. So be aware before booking them. #scamforsure.StyleSeat

StyleSeat is a complete fraud and scam. I will never do business with them again. They steal money from me and my clients. I deactivated the account and request it to be deleted but new clients can still book and get charged non-cancellation fees because of course its deleted on my end, and I cant get back in so now I cant protect new clients from getting charged fees. New clients are texting my phone trying to figure out why I charge them for an appointment I never confirmed. They are scammers!!!!!StyleSeat

I booked with a stylist and did not hear from her regarding the location of the service. I received email after emailing notifying me that I was going to be charged. So I reached out to her through the app, I located her Instagram and reached to her there, and then reached to her through her contact info available on social media. She did not respond. I email support 2 hours before my appointment time with no response. My appt time passes and I receive TWO separate emails notifying me that I have been charged PLUS tip for a service I never received. I emailed them two more times, and once again this morning. I want my name and financial information purged from your site if this is how it's going to be used. This is literally scamming, from both stylist and StyleSeat.StyleSeat
