To whom it may concern:I am writing to dispute a fraudulent charge of $218.00 on my checking account.The charge appears on my statement dated 7/22/2024 and is listed as AC-****** -INST XFER.This charge pertains to a watch winder I pre-ordered on a crowdfunding campaign through Indiegogo. Unfortunately, the campaign has since been suspended by Indiegogo due to fraudulent activity and I never received the product I ordered.Indiegogo has classified this transaction as a "donation," which is inaccurate. My intention was to pre-order a product, not make a charitable contribution.I have already attempted to dispute the charge with ******, who processed the transaction,but they denied my claim based on Indiegogo's categorization. This is a misrepresentation of the transaction's nature.Given the fraudulent nature of the campaign, Indiegogo's suspension of it, the seller's failure to deliver the product despite assurances, and the fact that I never received the product, I request that you investigate this charge and issue a full refund of $218.00 to my account.For your reference, I have attached the following documentation:A copy of my bank statement showing the disputed charge.Screenshot confirming the campaign's suspension.Communication with Indiegogo regarding the issue.A copy of the email I sent to the seller on July 22 and response from ******* ***** from ******************Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.Initial Complaint

I contributed $99, plus $62 for shipping, to The Three-In-One Portable ************** campaign on February 27, 2021, based on the promised delivery date of May 21, 2021. However, the campaign owner has failed to fulfill their obligations, did not communicate with backers, and disappeared without delivering the product. Despite my repeated attempts to contact both the campaign owner and Indiegogo, no action has been taken, nor has Indiegogo provided a safe and trustworthy service for contributors like me. I am formally demanding a full refund of the $99 contribution and $62 shipping fee for services that were never rendered. Indiegogo has a responsibility to protect backers from fraudulent campaigns, but they allow many scammers start campaign on their websites without proper vetting.Initial Complaint

On April 15, 2024, I contributed to a campaign on Indiegogo in the amount of $269. The campaigner said that the fulfillment of the order will be in May 2024. However, this company has been delaying and delaying and there's no data for distribution of the product they promised. Moreover, the company behind the campaigner appears to be a fraudulent one. I requested a refund in July and the company said for all refunds to go through Indiegogo. When I contacted Indiegogo, they claimed that the deadline for refund has passed and to go through the campaigner company, which I did. The campaigner agreed to issue a refund and requested wire banking information because that's the only way they can issue it. When I didn't receive a refund, they wrote back that they will not be refunding me and will only issue a store credit - keep in mind that this is for an item that doesn't exist. This campaigner is fraudulent and even their website is fake. The product doesn't exist and is not being made in the ***. The address used for the business is also fake. Indiegogo is refusing to issue a refund and take responsibility for allowing a fraudulent company to campaign on their website. **********************Initial Complaint

I have raised over $15,000 via Indiegogo and the funds were supposed to be disbursed around June 21 2024. The funds have been withheld and they have offered me no explanation about where my funds are, why they are being withheld, and they have ignored my emails for over a week now. I purchased two carbon fiber mountain bikes on Indiegogo.com on April 29, 2022. In May 2023, they announced on Indiegogo that they would be issuing refunds. For the past 13 months, I have reached out to Luup-X and/or Indiegogo trying to get the refund that was promised. No one as ever respond to my emails or 50+ letters I have mailed. I really need help in order to get the refund. I purchased this device (An oral care product by Oenklen) through Indigogo online. I charged it to my Citi credit card. The device came, and I used it one time. Obviously, I expected it to work on a regular basis but this one only worked ONE time filtering the tap water to ozinated water. IE - I certainly expected it to work!!! It came with a notice to use the ** for instructions - but the ** does not work. Attached are screenshots of the ** not working as well. The date of the transaction was August 19th, 2019. The amount paid was $200.00 USD. The company we supposed to have our product delivered January 2020 but has been prolonged due to the pandemic. The nature if the dispute is the company has finally got units for the factory and are selling them to new customers as opposed to those of us that prepaid in advance for their startup. They've been selling the products that we're supposed to receive and are selling them to new customers. We helped start their business and we're supposed to be first to receive, yet the company keeps telling us to wait.They have not tried to resolve the issue. They just keep pushing our shipments back more and more telling us to wait. They've been advertising on ******* as well as pushing their website across different platforms. All we want is what we paid for years ago and not have to be delayed.
