      Worst service, no customer support at all Today, my all files are missing, I check sync history it shows deleted, I didn't deleted, and it was my private folder it was not shared to anyone. Moreover, I checked the web events it display message I removed my own access, that is totally ridiculous, impossible for me to remove my own access. neither my files in deleted folder, and there is no way to get it, and the most beautiful thing is dropbox has no support and customer, they are using chat bot...worst service overall, don't trust these online dropbox instead of securing file they are deleting, and not giving option to recover, worst of the worst.

      I used Dropbox on both my Mac and PC and when I found Dropbox too difficult to use, I deleted the Dropbox links from my computers. What I didn't know was that Dropbox had stolen my Documents folder on my Mac. That is, the actual documents were on the Dropbox server, NOT on my Mac. I had no warning that Dropbox was stealing my Documents folder from my personal computer! Additionally, my external backup drive wa not backing up my files because they were no longer on my Mac. When I tried to log into Dropbox to retrieve my files, Dropbox refused to send me a login code--I am still unable to access my Dropbox account and I have lost valuable documents. Dropbox support was unhelpful (asking me to answer numerous bizarre questions to which there was no way I would know the answers). I spent almost a week working with Apple support to fix my Mac. Let this be a warning NEVER to use Dropbox as a cloud service.

      I am a 70 year old senior living on a fixed income and they charge me for a service never used. I cannot get anyone to pick up the phone to solve this. They say to go to my account, well I don't have an account, totally scammed of ****** for a service I will never use. They are a total "F" to me. Zero rating. So tired of the customer service now a days.

      This company is a JOKE! Charging me $90/month for 3TB when the support rep clearly said I could migrate 350TB no problem. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND RUN WHILE NOT GIVING YOU WHAT THEY SAID THEY WOULD!

      Ripoff!!!1 star is way tooooooo generous. They've made it impossible to cancel your subscription. Once you're in, you're in prison, but it's worse than prison because in prison they at least have live guards you can speak with. I have NEVER been able to speak with anyone at Dropbox!! As for Emails, forget it. They are never responded to even though they say a response will take ***** hours. ******* notices are deliberately sent to your spam folder, so by the time you find out about the renewal, you're locked in for another year. These are digital robbers. State Attorney Generals, Congress, Better ************** do something about Dropbox. Please don't do business with Dropbox !!!!!! Please!!!! Nothing but a scam!

      I signed up for Dropbox around 2009-2012 and have not been able to get into that account for five years because I got a new phone number. This is important because I had enabled two-step authentication to ensure the safety of my account. The person with my old phone number refuses to send me the code that is being sent to them because they think I am a scammer. Dropbox says that I should have a backup phone (Have never been able to afford more than one phone at a time for myself) or that I should have some sort of backup code or something that I was NEVER given back then. There is no way to contact a real-life person to handle any of this and no way tp even email anyone unless you pay for an account. Which leads me to this... I got an invoice today from the email address no - reply @ dropbox . com for the amount of $789.40 Please explain to me how I was able to purchase something when I cannot even get into my account. This company is a fraud! I am seeking legal counsel about this matter. I wonder how many others they are doing this to?

      For the short time we used Dropbox, we have been charged every month for a service we canceled and the site makes it impossible to cancel billing.

      I am being charged for an account I do not have - I have two basic, free plans and somehow, I am being charged for an account. Worst part is, you can't reach out to customer support unless you have a PAID plan. I'm paying for something or someone's plan (not mine), and I can't get assistance as to how or why or what my banking information is connected to. Absolute garbage, I'm disputing charges with my bank and will be looking to recoup the rest of the charges.

      I opened an account in 2014 with upgraded storage as a long term file storage solution. Key word LONG TERM so I do not monitor this account regularly. I went back to retrieve my files and my account was deleted due to inactivity. What type of data storage solution deletes paid storage for lack of active usage? Horrible business and you also need to pay a premium on a plan to talk to a real customer support employee rather than a robot so I would need to pay money to recover my account effectively. Run as fast as you can from any service provided and switch to ****** drive.

      Dropbox will NOT allow me to delete my account. I have tried talking to them and followed their instructions, but they make it IMPOSSIBLE to delete my account. I signed into my account with my username and password. They will not allow me to delete the account - they are saying the username and password - THE SAME USERNAMES AND PASSWORDS I USED TO SIGN IN - do not match. I went in and changed my password. SAME RESULT. They will NOT allow me to delete my account. I CHATTED WITH A REPRESENTATIVE AND ASKED THEM TO and they told me I have to do it. But their system will not allow it. This is a devious and underhanded business practice.
