1 starI ordered a ring from Brilliant Earth over a month ago with a promised delivery date of June 13th. Since then, I have experienced four separate delays. I have spent multiple days on and off the phone with customer service, and I have escalated the matter to a manageryet I continue to receive false promises and vague assurances.Despite repeated guarantees (including from management) that the ring would arrive in time for my June 28th proposal, Brilliant Earth missed that deadline as well. Most concerning is that they now say they cannot even provide a reason for the most recent delay. This directly violates *** regulations (16 CFR Part 435), which require sellers to notify customers of the reason for any shipping delay and to offer the option to cancel.Throughout this process, the customer service team has been unresponsive, unhelpful, and scripted. Ive been told they are advocating for me, but that has resulted in absolutely no progress. Even after all the inconvenience and broken promises, I was told I am not eligible for any compensationdespite their clear failure to meet both their commitments and basic customer service standards.This experience has caused immense stress and has disrupted what should have been a memorable and meaningful life event. As of today, I still have not received my order, and I have no confidence in the companys ability to deliver it at all.I am seeking a full explanation, immediate action to resolve this issue, and appropriate compensation for the time, stress, and financial burden this situation has caused.Review fromJordan W

1 starI spent hours researching and finally purchased a diamond I was genuinely excited about through Brilliant Earth. I paid in full and requested a zoomed video of the diamond. The agent claimed it was sent and Id receive it within two days I never did.Shortly after, I received an email marked urgent asking me to call. When I did, I was told the diamond I had already paid for was sold. They offered a replacement with lower specs. I made it clear I only wanted something equal or better and followed up by email again, no response.They said nothing on their website met my original criteria, despite me later finding several options that did. They said they would do an internal search. I asked for a discount code due to the inconvenience. First, they offered $100, then $200 still far from acceptable considering they couldnt fulfill the order. The issue was escalated to a manager, who called me and explained they dont offer percentage discount codes. I agreed to wait for their internal search, emphasizing I had an upcoming anniversary, and they promised to hold my funds and meet my standards. Then silence for three days.I asked for a refund and soon found a better diamond on ***** *****. I reached out to cancel. They said the refund would take five to seven business days. I asked for it to be expedited and spoke to a manager who promised to process it within two days. That deadline came and went. Its now been five days since that call, and twelve days since they admitted they couldnt fulfill my order.This experience felt manipulative. They held my funds with no urgency, ignored three of my emails, and I had to contact multiple agents just to get someone to call me. If youre considering Brilliant Earth, know theres a real risk they wont fulfill your order and will tie up your money for weeks. 1 starI purchased my engagement ring in May 2022. I chose an oval diamond with a pave band and hidden halo as soon as I got my ring prior to proposal I ordered myself a similar ring on Amazon to wear to limit wear and tear on my actual ring. In June 2023 I noticed that I had a stone missing on the band of my ring. I contacted Brilliant Earth and informed them of the missing diamond minds you I also have the lifetime insurance on the ring. They told me that they could not give me a price over the phone, once they received my ring they called me with a over $200 charge to have the diamond replaced we agreed to pay this fee had the ring fixed and sent back. About two months ago I noticed two more diamonds were missing this time on my hidden halo. I found this very odd. At this point, my wedding is in six weeks so I decided instead of contacting Brilliant Earth and having it fixed through them because the issue keeps reoccurring. I would have checked by a professional jeweller to see if they can fix it or if not to give me their opinion. It was our astonishing surprise that having it checked by a professional jeweller we were told that the entire ring was manufactured extremely poorly. I had another six diamonds that I was about to lose within the next few weeks all the prongs holding the diamonds around the band as well as the halo were crooked so instead of having four prongs holding each diamond, there was only two this was all a manufacturing issue my main diamond the lower right prong was shorter than all the other runs, which also shows poor manufacturing. I was suggested to get in contact with brilliant and ask for a refund the ring would have to be completely redone to fix the reoccurring stone falling issue. This company is selling poorly manufactured rings for thousands of dollars I would never recommend this company to anyone. I am still waiting to hear from them for a refund so I can hopefully have my ring in a properly manufactured setting for my wedding.Review fromGreg M

5 starsThe staff at Brilliant Earth, W. ******* have been terrific. ******, our sales associate worked patiently with us as we chose anniversary rings to update our wedding bands. He showed us multiple options and provided all of the information we needed to make a good choice.Unfortunately, I was not comfortable with my original choice, but ****** helped me choose a different ring that is more appropriate for me. Throughout the process ****** has kept us informed of our order status and provided updates every step along the way.I would highly recommend Brilliant Earth. 1 starI ordered an engagement ring on May 10, 2025 and wired full payment to Brilliant Earth on the 12th. My estimated delivery date was May 31.On the morning of May 30, I called customer service to ensure that the ring was still expected to ship. I was assured that all was on track and it would ship later that day.Four hours later I received an automated email that my order was delayed to a new estimated delivery date of June 10. No additional information.That led to a week of nonstop frustration as nobody in the customer service department could provide me with any clarity or visibility to the reason for the delay, nor what was being done about it. I received the same we are closely monitoring the status of your order and will update you email or phrase every time I interacted with someone from the company. To be treated this way was insulting. I had to push my proposal date back twice as a result.I finally called to cancel my order on June 7 and was told by the *** that the cancellation department does not work on weekends. As of writing this at 2:30pm US eastern time on June 9, I have received no confirmation of cancellation. I expect that I will have to make multiple additional calls to get my money back, which I was told would be issued via check (7-10 days) vs being refunded via wire. So buyer beware. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. There are lots of other alternatives and I strongly encourage you to go elsewhere.Review fromJacob S.

1 starBrilliant Earths shipping instructions dont leave you the option to hold the package to be picked up at *****. I asked and was denied. Since I was unable to pick up the package I had to leave work unexpectedly mid day just to go home and have my girlfriends ENGAGEMENT RING be delivered to the wrong address with the wrong signature. The package was later returned to me after the driver went back to the person he delivered it to and asked for it back. When the package got to me I had to discover that it was cut open and touched by someone else. It ruined the surprise for her and destroyed the whole experience. After calling I was just told it would be investigated and havent heard anything since. Check with shipping instructions before you plan to have anything delivered from here.Review fromJonathan M

5 starsMy fiance and I bought our wedding bands here and overall had a great experience. A little expensive, but we opted for the platinum bands because they last longer and so far haven't regretted it. I would recommend going in to a showroom and getting a personal relationship with a staff member there because it seems like most negative reviews are from online only orders. The team at our store (******************) was friendly and knowledge, and we had a great experience. I may update this if our rings wear after wearing them for a longer period of time, but so far so goodReview fromMichael B

1 starWith as much emphasis as I can, do not utilize Brilliant Earth for jewelry! Purchases my fianc's engagement ring from them and within 2 months of her wearing her White Gold ring, the Rhodium began wearing off alot. We sent it back and the blame game started. "HARSH WEAR" is the reason anything is wrong with their products. They fixed and sent it back and within another 2-3 months, the rhodium wore off almost completely on the band. We sent back again and, of course, it was my fianc's fault. I upgraded it to Platinum ($0 discount no matter the displeasure) and after about 3 months of wear, the stone became very loose and wiggly. We sent back AGAIN, they "fixed" it, and my fiance pulled it out of the box to discover the stone was STILL loose. I was flabbergasted at how inept this company was. I was given no discount from my upgrade or any type of significant recourse for what is obviously a terrible product. I promise all of the good reviews you may read are not worth it. I had to take my fianc's ring 3 times within a year, and I can't describe the embarrassment I feel for giving her this.
