  Do not ever use this company they will s**** you over. They told me my item would sell for *********, they told me they would contact me once authenticated, they told me I would approve the sell before it sells. Not one of those things happened. It didnt sell for ********* they said it sold for 3900 but I never seen the listing nor did I ever see it be authenticated. Then they tried to push out my payment 2 months. Told me they could do it a month from that date and that date now came and they mailed my check when I clearly have my bank information on the app. These guys are liars and scammers I cannot believe they are still in business after having so many bad reviews and not just bad reviews absolutely terrible.

  Over the past year, The ********* support continues time and time again to incorrectly identify me as a seller that I am not. Theyve mailed me at least 4 boxes of lovely, upscale bags worth thousands. The bags were meant to ship someone else. At this point, I struggled with any support in making it easy to return these large boxes to areal Real to resolve. Of lately, they are trying to send me seller checks not meant for me. The compilation of all these instances puts others out of money and belongings and I have spent countless hours seeking satisfactory support. Despite the poor customer service from the platform, ****** in customer service responded with site credit far less than the money deserving for my honesty and patience. It is absolutely the worst experience Ive ever encountered. I hope this message impacts others and presses you to be cognitive of your account. For sellers, do not leave your personal information and belongings in the hands of ********* without the dedication to closely monitor.

  As a long-time consignor, the RR customer service is rude, unhelpful and inconsistent. This is the second time that theyve lost one of my items. Theyve also claimed that a return period had passed without one of my items being returned when in fact it was returned a MONTH before.

  I'm first time ever was tried to consignment my purses with this company. From day number 1 I had only negative feelings from this company,first, at the store they took my suit case went through my stuff without my present and took 21 pieces without exact description of them. Second,their agent (good lie trained) contacted me and assured that I'm going to have 60% earnings and if I'm not agree they will return my items at any time for free back to ***** reality everything is a big lie!The RealReal is making 80% of profit and I'm only going to have 20%, from my own items?!When I realized that ,contacted customer service right away to cancel my contract with them, before item been proccesed and authenticated, but they are trying to prolong their process to charge me a $20 fee for that.This is ridiculous company I ever see in my life.

  The RealReal Items sometimes are not as described, I purchase a mens jacket and received a womens jacket wrong size/gender. In addition, within the same order, I purchased a womens pants, and received a mens pants wrong size/gender. Prior to this, *** made purchases and when I received, they were a different color, fabric, and size, from The RealReal listing descriptions. I feel like Ive been scammed over and over again, they are giving you false listings descriptions, to take your money.

  The RealReal is at best hit or miss and at worst, dishonest. Examples of fakes: supposed *** bags that were made of fake leather (one was even plastic!), supposed Chanel flats that were obvious knockoffs. Their authentication process is non-existent and their commission to sellers very very low. Their shipping prices are very high and the shipping itself is slow....and their customer service is almost non-existent. AND you can't return anything or leave reviews! I have been suckered by them for the last time and will not buy or sell from them. There are far better resale sites out there--the ******************* has better authentication and thredup better prices.

  I would like to share a very upsetting experience I recently had when consigning a $ ******** designer gown for sale .When i brought the gown in I had asked to be notified of the amount before it was sold and they failed to do that. After a few weeks I was notified that my gown had been sold and that my earned commission on the sale was only $ ***** I questioned this ridiculously low commission and was told that the gown was sold for a little over $ ****** I asked if I could get my gown back and was told no, that it was sold already.I was told that my complaint would be taken to a higher level. After a few weeks and many e-mails going back and forth I was told nothing further could be done to compensate me. I think that under the circumstances I should have been notified and given the opportunity to get my designer gown back.I hope that the better business bureau could look into this fraud and notify me.

  Purchased a luxury bag on May 23rd from their website. I had to email them within 5 days asking why it hadn't been shipped (It's supposed to go out within 3-5 days). A shipping label got generated that was never updated and when I contacted their client services to ask what happened, they told me they needed time to investigate it. Their conclusion that they stuck to until June 12th was that the bag was lost in transit, which wasn't true. It was never collected from the warehouse. I had used a 20% off discount code when I purchased the bag and I let them know if this was basically a ruse to not honor the price and just refund me what I paid, I was going to be upset. They refunded me on June 11th, and only admitted the next day that they weren't able to find the bag after they sold it. This is extremely dishonest and bad business. They also refused to allow me to use the same coupon code to purchase a replacement bag. I don't feel like this is an ethical business.

  I dont usually do reviews but I want to warn people I ordered some Balenciagas shoes , off TheRealReal on the website it said size 7 when I received the shoes it was a size 10 ! I called the item wasnt refundable but because of there mistake I was able to return them. It was returned I never received a site credit as promised. Its been over a month !! Now Im out of 200 dollars these people are scammers !!!!!

  1. i ordered an item with rakutin never received item was charged over $1,700 and never got item or refund stay away its fraud because no item back and forth i call they hang up i emailed 37 times
