I emailed support asking to cancel my contracts after I received the notice of renewal from them. I was told it was complete and there would be no new renewals. Then to my surprise I got charged for a renewal. When I contacted support they said the email with support was not sufficient. However they told me if I wanted cancel future renewals they could do so, all on an email with the support agent. Worst part is the renewals are not for 1 year, but 3 or 5 years!Not to mention their battery powered devices last a few months in real world conditions. When it's spring and fall they work great but summer heat or ******* cold kills them quickly.I just want out of this contract and away from this company for good, but now I get 3 more years stuck with them.Samsara

I have Samsara for a year as of now and I'm having issues downsizing my fleet devices number. When I sign the contract it is say anual amount total, but later it turns out the contract is for 3 years. Contract is made the way to full you and agree on anual but is fot 3 years not one. So i have tried to lower the device numbers with no luck and I refuce to pay for 70 as the agreement say because my company now have 35 units. Long story short my account got syspended. But that's not all. I have ***** safety audit now and the agent asking for my logs for last 3 months and Samasara refuces to give me the data. So now I have trouble complete the audit and will get a violation for missing logs. They have to store the data for minimum 6 months but I don't have acces to it because my account is suspended at the moment. Be aware that Samsara don't care about their customers and actually will help ypu to close doors one day.Samsara

We have been using Samsara for the past 5 years, this is our 6th year. During our renewal this year, they asked us to renew our licenses for 3 years, or 36 months. Also, without any notice, they have all of sudden increased the prices for each license. Triple the price we used to pay for our licenses in the past 5 years. After talking to them multiple times to reduce the prices, they keep saying they can't give any discounts to loyal customers like us.Samsara

We had a positive experience with Samsara for the past three years, appreciating the quality of their cameras and the functionality of their website. However, recent events have led us to a disappointing conclusion about their service.Initially, everything went smoothly until we encountered several malfunctions with our cameras. When we requested replacements, we were informed that we would need to sign a new three-year contract. We agreed to these terms and were promptly approved for financing. Unfortunately, *************************** handling of our renewal process has been problematic. Our request has been stalled, and as a result, we now have seven non-functional cameras. This issue is particularly critical for us, as we operate an ambulance company and rely heavily on these cameras to track our vehicles during emergencies.In light of these challenges, we have switched to ******* Connect, which not only offers better rates but also avoids future price increases. Based on our experience, we do not recommend doing business with Samsara.Samsara

Samsara is by far the most unscrupulous company I have ever encountered. They shouldnt be allowed to operate as a company. They are about as corrupt as they come. Please, PLEASE dont sign into a contract with them. We tried out trackers with them and signed into a contract. We ended up not using the trackers so I reached out numerous times for instructions to return them because we had no interest in renewing. (They were already in their boxes ready to return when we still had over a year left on our contract.) I was left with no response several times, then got a charge on my account for almost $600.00 for a renewal. I reached out to samsara support and sent screenshots and proof of me trying to cancel and they said it was denied because I didnt do it 30 days before the renewal. Even though the emails with the date I tried to reach out were well before that time. They ignored my attempts to cancel, charged me $600.00 and then refused to refund it even with PROOF provided. I am honestly taken by the fact that they chose not to do what is right and fair. It shows that their company has zero integrity and I pray that this review prevents people from having to deal with the same.Samsara

1 starThey tried to charge me $7,000 per year for double facing cameras and GPS tracking in 9 trucks. I finally negotiated them down to $3,700 and, 2.5 years later, I still feel like I'm getting fleeced!1) There are no mobile-friendly versions of their platform. Anything of significance MUST be done on a desktop computer due to action that are not compatible with touch screens. This has forced me, on multiple occasions, to drive ***** minutes to my house or office to make edits to routes that take 30 seconds.2) GPS is CONSTANTLY losing connection. We sweep parking lots, garages, and commercial properties. "Time on site" reports are garbage because their are dozens (if not hundreds) of "1 minute on site" logs. I've worked hand-in-hand with reps from Samsara to tweak settings to "fix" this, and nothing has worked.3) DOES NOT DETECT CRASHES. The system will beep if you take a turn a little sharp, but we've had 5 ACCIDENTS in the last 3 years, and this system had detected ZERO of them. One of our services members was T-boned...no alert. A sweeper truck ran over a curb at 10mph...no alert. A technician ran into concrete balast...no alert. Very frustrated with Samsara. My company has worked with Samsara for 2 years and we never utilized the system to its fullest. I received a notice on 12/26/2023 that the contract would automatically renew on 1/28/2024. In order to prevent the automatic renewal I needed to respond by 12/29/23, strange how these renewal are sent out when most business are shut down for holidays, I replied on 12/27/23 to remove me from the automatic renewal. I received a confirmation on 1/19/24 that I was removed from auto renewal list. My card was charged on 1/27/24 for over $7,000, I have sent multiple emails and made several calls asking for a refund. The customer service people have been kind and understanding and say they see on their end that the auto renewal was to be stopped and have moved the complaint to the renewal department but I have yet to get a refund or any communication past the customer service call center. I would definitely recommend not using Samsara their are several companies out there that operate with more integrity.Samsara

I had a really good working relationship with Samsara until I was bullied into trying their new asset devices. I told my rep more than once I was not interested but he kept insisting. I tried it and we never used them. I was 9 days late contacting them to do the return. I acknowledge my fault here. It was Thanksgiving and a very busy time for our sanitation company. Not only could my Sales Rep not be bothered to check in with me, I have returned the devices and been told I will continue to be charged for 30 devices I didn't want to begin with!Unprofessional.I am personally disgusted with this company and I see bullying businesses into their products is a common business practice.Samsara
