Its been 3 months for my LYFT background check! And still not approved! I spoke to someone about my UBER and it was completed the next day! And that was submitted 2 months after LYFTBusiness Response

On August 11, 2022 I visited a collector to received a urine sample so Checkr could run a simple drug test. Instead, the company suspended the test without explanation. According to the company's the help section on their website states that the company or my company require more information. However, this was not indicated at all. Additionally, a Checkr rep stated that the company was simply unable to complete the drug test and I had to order a new one.In the past week, I have done that and by 8/29/22 I had the new one completed. Checkr completed the report 9/1/22 at 1:29pm and suspended that one, too. Again, no explanation. ********* told me over the phone that my case would be escalated, but no action or communication has been forthcoming. Not only that, but the company is refusing phone calls entirely due to "high phone call' rates and end the call before speaking with a representative. I've even attempted to email and submit tickets to no avail.My suspended reports was clearly a mistake and could have been the result of a simple misclick on a computer. However, Checkr refuses to address the problem in a timely manner causing loss wages. I have been out of work going on two weeks now and my bills are due soon. Thanks to Checkr, I cannot return to work even though I'm negative for drugs.Business Response

Your reports were suspended because we were unable to complete the drug screenings with the information provided by the labs.
The next step would be to contact the company you applied with for more information and/or to have them order a new health check for you. The company that you applied with will decide whether to reorder the check. If the company chooses to reorder the check, a link will be sent to you via email. The link will prompt you to pick a testing site and day to test. Results typically take 2-3 business days to process and once we have received the results, your report will be updated.Initial Complaint

I haven't been able to drive for Uber, because Checkr has attached *********************************** criminal record to my Background check. Uber will not let me drive until Checkr sends in the correct background check. Im a 21 year vet with a security clearance. I do not have a record.Business Response

Checkr is giving false and outdated information on my background checks to Uber and DoorDash. I have sent two correspondence requests on their website and called multiple. They have never answered or responded.Business Response

Checkr has reported to GoPuff that my ** Drivers License has expired, which is true. However, they are not reporting that I have a valid Drivers License through CA even though I can see it listed on my Checkr account. I contacted them about this, they did a reinvestigation and determined that their original report was valid and now I can't access my Checkr account anymore.Business Response

Hello my name is *********************************** I have gotten two background checks through the company Checkr. One was initiated on 6/8/22 for Amazon and the other with Aramark which was initiated on 8/10/22. However my background has been pending for three weeks now. I placed my two week notice with my current employer the moment ******* sent me my job offer. I have received two other job offers through two separate companys since June in which my background was completed an cleared through First Advantage and another for my current job in which my background and fingerprints cleared through Fieldprint . I dont understand how my current jobs background company Fieldprint was able to fingerprint me and run my background and drug test all within a 4 day turn around but the job in which Im suppose to start tomorrow 8/31 through Aramark still hasnt came back from this company since June??? I would hate to withdraw my application or they move on with another applicant due to Checkr. How are two other companies able to get what they need and have my background report back in less then a week but Checkr has had my background pending for a total of 3 months for two different companies that use them. There is no live representative to speak with and my employer at Aramark has even tried reaching out but hasnt had any luck. This company should be ashamed to not have someones background check completed and its been pending since June 8th.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: This response is being copy and pasted to everyone. You are not looking into my specific background report. It does not take four months to get court records. I contacted the court office in Sacramento county since your company stated to my employer you were awaiting records from them. I was told they do not send out court records to third parties. I was also told they are not delayed in issuing our court documents to the right parties. So this is just something that your company keeps stating yet Ive had two different companies run background checks including a live scan an the turn around was within a week. No company is this behind except checkr. An after speaking to the court your definitely not waiting on anything from them.

Due to court delays and closures throughout the country, we are still experiencing some delays in receiving records, and unfortunately, we will not have an update on your report until these records are provided to us directly by the courts. Please note, there continue to be delays as clerks and representatives make their way through extensive backlogs and other requests.
Please also note that based on the request of the companies you have applied to work with, we *** search counties where you currently live or that *** be associated with your address history, and those counties *** or *** not keep electronic records. As a ************************** there are procedures we are required to follow in order to collect information and complete background checks. As a result, we are unable to expedite our search or take additional steps to speed up the process.

To **************** Re Investagation Team Please explain to me how did a record that is 20 years old all of a sudden appear on my checkr background report. I have had several background checks from the company requested and not once was this item on my report. To make this situation even worse, this item does not belong to me. How is checkr retrieving information on consumers. If my SSN is being use, surely this egregious error shouldn't have appeared on my report. This have cause a pause in my employment and has cause me to lose wages. This very unacceptable of this company. I understand their are several lawsuit that or pending in courts against checkr in reference to the bad reporting which is causing consumers jobs. I have pending background checks for both Lyft and Uber. The Uber background check was submitted mid april, and the Lyft one was submitted back in June. Like many other's here filing complains, there's been zero communication other than the general vague answers, and I've lost out on a massive amount of wages so much so that I can't pay any of my bills. Not sure what to do at this point other than pursue legal options. They say there's some sort of backlog at the court level but I don't buy it, I believe they're having staffing issues and can do the work in a timely fashion. I am a teacher/real estate agent. Who has had several background checks in life. I work Doordash part time and was deactivated because of CHeckr for creating a whole false list of items that were not me. Recently I received a message from CHECKR that showed a lot of false information from DUI to fines, I don't drink and I am highly upset that a company was able to add false information without my consent. I have attached the first document where shipt did a background check in March 25, 2022 and I had three small minor traffic violations, and doordash did a recent check with pages on pages of violations that did not consist of me, how were they able to create such false identification? How can the information be deleted. My name is my livelyhood and I need all these negative remarks deleted. I could add more attachments but these documents don't end. On August 24, 2022 (after working for Uber for two days) I noticed that the driving record had a suspended CDL. Being that I was already working, I disputed it because I have never had a CDL. On 8/25/2022 my account was no longer active and when I reached reviewed everything **** said that checkr has disqualified me. But checkr states that the decision is up to the employer. I dont see how this company can say they are accurate when I dont have a CDL and confirmed with my local dmv.Business Response
