    My experience with Chairish was so bad it was almost comical. I ordered a blue chair delivered to a cottage on ***************** *********. I ended up with an army green chair delivered to *********. The chair was shipped without packaging, so it could not be sent to the island via ferry. I had it redirected to ********* to find that the photo used to sell the chair looked nothing like the chair I received. The company offered no remedy for the problem, accept to ship it back at a highly inflated rate that was more than I paid for the chair. This company is unethical and unprofessional.

    I have been a seller on Chairish for almost a year now. I was trying to sell a high end dining room. Two of the three pieces were sold seamlessly. However, the last most beautiful piece is a credenza and it has been an absolute *********** was sold and shipping was arranged which took much longer than normal. When it was finally picked up (with 12 hours notice), I was able to close out my storage unit. The next day, I was told that the purchaser had cancelled the order BEFORE the pickup but because of some internal issues at Chairish, I was not notified. Now, my beautiful credenza (that I have no place to store) is lost in limbo somewhere and is most certainly damaged. I cannot speak to a human and just keep getting the runaround from customer service.I still don't know where it is or when I am getting it back! And I am losing valuable time to sell it. Sellers BEWARE!!!

    I will never purchase another item from Chairish. They immediately billed my credit card for my purchase but missed the first delivery window. Then, they missed the second delivery window. Now, I have a third delivery window. The customer service is poor and inconsistent.

    Terrible shipping times and even worse customer service. I have been waiting 3 weeks for a table that is located 45 minutes away. I contacted their shipper a week ago to ask for a delivery estimate and he never responded. When I asked Chairish to intervene, they told me the shipper still has 3 weeks left to deliver the table even though the final day of the stated delivery window was yesterday. I routinely have furniture delivered to *** in under 2 weeks from ******* and ******, in under 4 weeks from *****. It should not take 6 weeks to deliver furniture from northern ********** to ***.

    I listed my coffee table with Chairish for bout month. They say that buyer pays shipping, but thats definitely untrue. I was sent a shipping label to my email and thats all it is a label. There is nothing on pack list to indicate free shipping of any kind. I checked in with *** and informed me cost like $280 in shipping which I sold table for $155. No way! Think this site is totally illegitimate !

    Normally, Ive gotten beautiful pieces from Chairish. Unfortunately, the marble topped small three legged glass or cup rest was a joke. Mrs ****** ******* of *********, **** should be ashamed. All the legs were ***** and the wooden center of wood was glued to the bottom of the marble but wasnt centered. The wooden center was scratched and nicked

    We bought a nice piece of Design Within Reach furniture through Chairish and the piece had some damage which occurred during shipping. Instead of offering to make it right, Chairish contacted us and requested, "May I confirm if you are willing to keep the item and repair it? They asked us to accept the damaged piece, take responsibility for arranging to repair it, and still havent agreed to pay for any repairs, which amouned to $500. We have declined to accept the piece until we have an agreement for the repairs and a settlement payment. As Chairish was so unhelpful, we decided to work with the shipper who was at least responsive. The shipper then came back with three quotes for a settlement, stating they take the average of three quotes. One quote was suspiciously low so we called the low quote repair people who stated they never actually provided a quote for our piece. After 3 weeks, we still dont have resolution. Chairish customer service is anything but service for its customers. They count on customers to not follow up or ask questions, deny, delay. Buyer beware.

The same day, a partial refund of $500.00 (plus taxes and fees) was issued to the payment method used for the purchase. Please note that it typically takes 3 to 5 business days for the funds to appear in your account. We also sent you a confirmation email on February 20, 2025, informing you that the refund had been processed. Subsequently, the order was closed and finalized on our end.     My item was delivered by their shipper ****** on 10/22/24. They did not adequately protect the glass shelves and one broke. No problem, things happen. They promised to have a new one made but three months on no shelf. Left numerous voicemails at ****** and even had a chat with Chairish but no response. They may have tangled with the wrong person. ;)

    I ordered a cocktail table for $1000-- with tax and shipping the total came to $1428.50
    The original posting showed a distressed, dull finish which is want I wanted and went ahead to order the table.
    What I received was a shiny finish that looks like plastic.
    When I reached out to customer service, I was asked to send photos showing the discrepancy. The sheen was obvious in all the photos I took but customer service argued the facts and tried to persuade me that the table I received was what was intended by the designer. The shine, they said, was the intended finish.
    The shine was clearly not visible in their sale posting---and I never would have ordered the table if I was aware of its sheen.
    False advertising--the product presented and purchased was not what I received. They lied and denied that my complaint had any merit---horrible customer service.

On January 28th Chairish provided the following insight on the finish used on the table you purchased: "This particular finish was developed by ****** *****, the designer for the ****** ***** x Woodbridge collection. The #** Antique Finish was designed with that particular level of distressing, color, and sheen level per her instructions. The particular sheen level on this item is higher than some of our other items, because this is how ****** designed it for the collection" With these details, a standard return was offered. After multiple outreaches, we provided you with a final notice on February 6th. Because we did not hear back, the order was closed and finalized on our end.     Items are priced mych higher on this app, the $25 shipping fees are crazy & you wait MUCH longer to receive items.
