My FIRST sale on Chairish, I used the Chairish Drop-off & Go shipping stating 20% discount off regular packaging fees" with a quoted packing fee of $23. My first sale was a small lamp weighing 2.2 lbs., 16 inches high and it would have been so simple for me to package it, but I thought, what-the-heck! just make use of the Chairish offered DISCOUNTED service. Well! I was charged $48 for the discounted packaging which meant that the *** packaging normal price before that 20% discount was $60 SIXTY dollars!. It ended up costing me $20 to sell that first lamp i.e., my net sale price after Chairish commission was $18 and with the $48 packaging fee, I OWE CHAIRISH $20! I was FURIOUS with the *** packing fee I was charged so when I dropped off my second sold lamp which I pre-packed I asked to speak to the manager of my local *********. Note this is a newly opened *** store run by a small family. I first asked the manager if there was any benefit to them for me dropping off pre-labeled packages such as ****** and the one I brought in. He said yes. So then I told him how upset I was at being charged $48 which with Chairish's 20% discount meant a regular packing fee of $60 was what they usually charged and I stated this was exorbitant for packaging the small lamp. He remembered me and described the lamp. I showed a photo to him and he said YES! I also had the receipt from the store when I shipped it. He looked it up on his system and showed me what his store was paid by *** for the packaging: $17.92. I saw it with my own eyes and so then I apologized for my anger at him and said I would be calling Chairish. I called Chairish but the *** just ***eated the Chairish Drop-off and Go program and offered no other resolution. I am looking into using other online services. Hopefully I can detach from Chairish.I DO NOT recommend selling on Chairish to anyone.

I'm very sorry to hear about your experience with our Drop ******** program. To explain the program, the Chairish Drop ******** program makes packing items hassle and worry-free. For a fee ranging from $7 - $65, depending on the size and fragility of the item, Chairish sellers may opt-in to the Chairish Drop ******** program and a professional packing expert does all the work, making selling online easier than ever. When sellers create a listing, the option to select Drop ******** is presented, including the price for sellers, which will be deducted from their payment for the order. This is an optional program and is not a requirement to list or sell with Chairish. While we're sorry to hear that this optional program wasn't a good fit for your items, it is one of the options we offer as we want to make sure our sellers have a plethora of options to successfully ship your items. Please don't hesitate to reach out to Chairish again at ********************************** with any additional feedback or questions.

I sold a piece of furniture through Charish, I was never notified that it was sold. Only found out when the shipping company contacted me to come pick it up. *** never received payment for the piece. Cherish wont respond. The company stole from me.

I'm very sorry to hear this! Chairish sellers can expect payment approximately six days after the order is marked delivered, or three days after a local pickup is confirmed. Your sold item was delivered on October 30th and the payment was issued on November 3rd. Chairish Support also provided these details over email on November 4th. If you still haven't received your payment please respond to the email we sent or contact us at ************. Thank you!

There are many sellers on Chairish that are knowingly selling fake reproduction as vintage antique genuine originals.......Chairish turns a bling eye to this as long as they get there percentage of the sale.....This company is horrible & nothing but a den of thieves from the top to the bottom & including the owners, moderators & employees ...............HORRIBLE, Stay away or you WILL be ripped off...........

After checking our systems, I was unable to find that Darrell Tilmann or [email protected] contacted us to raise any concerns over listings on our site.

Chairish support is prepared to report any item, that someone feels is not authentic, to our production and curation team, who will then review the details in depth and gather any necessary documentation from the seller to verify authenticity.

In the future, we ask that Mr. Tilmann reach out to [email protected] so we have the opportunity to investigate authenticity concerns.

Chairish has become the most abusive and predatory retail platform on earth... I recently purchased an antique that arrived damaged on a Friday (normal business day)... There was no chat available (big surprise there), and their POS website was blocking me from contacting the seller via message (another big surprise there)... So I emailed images of the damage to customer support and requested a return... Only to be told that I would have to wait for their investigation to receive an return authorization... Really....??? They send me a damaged item that is clearly and materially not as described, and then immediately start in with their abusive lie-and-deny delay tactics to discourage me from returning the item... This is the last straw with these f------- scammers... Guess who my next legal hobby is going to be... They definitely f----- with the wrong customer this time...

Chairish was notified of the Damage that occurred during transit on Friday, July 5th. Chairish Customer Support then requested photos and other supporting evidence for a *** claim. After receiving these details the buyer received a full refund Sunday, July 7th, and the issue has been resolved.

I spent over $1700 on some chairs, and when they arrived, the delivery guy unwrapped one and we both gawked. There was a huge crack down the middle of the chair and the finish was *******, obviously recent and painted to mimick am original finish at distance (which was advertised), but up close was SO bad. We opened one more chair and noted it was equally bad. I told them not to bother opening any more and to return them.Chairish claims it has a 48hr return guarantee. There are huge caveats! Be forewarned.Chairish said that the fact that I trusted the written description was my fault, and that I should have inspected the photographs more closely. The seller said, "that's what 'rustic' means, it adds to their charm." I was appalled when Chairish said they were keeping over $1000 of my money for the return. There is nothing I can do about this situation, and I am furious that a seller saying something is "rustic" justifies all their representations about "original finish" and "minor imperfections" being false in the minds of customer service. It is worthy of note that I already own four of these exact, rustic, original, chairs with minor imperfections, so I know what this means. They are NOT garbage, whereas what I received was. And the delivery people agreed. They were equally appalled when they heard what I paid.I felt it was important for future customers know about this exchange so they could proceed with extreme caution.

Communication, lack of is horrible. First and last purchase. Seller will only communicate with *******, they have relay to BuyerMade a bid, they take the monies off my credit card, they Seller then has 72 hours to reply and or Accept. Mean while ******* has the Monies. They dont tell you this in advance. Do not recommend a site where lack of communication disengenious.

Customer support for sellers is a mess, especially if you have them organize the shipping. I sold a stone tabletop and base, and was very clear about the material, size, thickness, and all other information needed to understand what was required to transport it. The first shipper had me rearranging my schedule for a week before showing up and saying he couldn't transport it. I am now 10 days into trying to get them to organize another shipper and its like a giant void of platitudes and lack of action to get anything accomplished. They're all "very nice" on the phone -- polite, etc -- but they can't seem to get ANYTHING done to solve a problem THEY created. Since I made plans to have a new table delivered once the old one was supposed to be out, I had to put that delivery on hold and am now incurring storage fees -- we will see if I get any credit for these liquidated damages. In sum, I find the platform helpful, but customer service, not so much.

Chairish is expensive and a waste of my time. I asked them to delete my seller account and all related data and they have refused asking me to send in all sorts of identification. I should not be required to send in more to de-activate than was asked to activate the account. According to Privacy Laws, at least in ****** and I believe ******* as well, Chairish MUST remove my seller account and all data if I request it.

First, I emphasize that Ally, from the Chairish **************** team, was both very pleasant and very prompt in responding. My problem is not with Ally but with Chairish. I'm a longtime purchaser and I've always been pleased--and I've been a good customer too!--but today was very disappointing. An item shipped via ***** which is thoroughly unreliable, was fraudulently recorded this morning as delivered to and signed for by me. It was neither. I immediately called Chairish to inform them of this. Ally investigated and returned a message that nothing could be done, and that I could "look around my neighborhood" for the item (as if a fraudulent signer would somehow leave an item out for me to discover, aside from the fact that this isn't MY failure but the seller's/*******'s) or file a criminal complaint. Chairish should indemnify purchasers even if sellers won't, and Chairish should also forbid sellers to use ***** which has zero effective fraud protection (Amazon uses photo proof of delivery, for example. Simple and dispositive. ****** "signature verification" means nothing; they don't even specify the street address to which they've delivered!! This is the second time in two years that I've experienced fraud via ****** failures.). I've asked **** to stop/rescind the payment and I've given them the full story. I'm giving two stars based on good prior experiences, but today was outrageous. Again, not ****'s fault, but shame on Chairish.
