      Placed an order for five pots and pans on Dec 19. I've received and paid for three. Two are backordered. One of these backordered has been applied to my credit card as a pending charge three times. The *** told me they run it against my credit card every week to make sure I have funds available, even though this pan is not ready to ship. My available credit on this card is now reduced $647.85 for a $215.95 purchase. Williams Sonoma says my bank is at fault; Citi says WS needs to remove the pending charges. In the meantime, I don't have access to my credit card available balance. Even though I cancelled my order, the pending charges remain, and Citi won't dispute them until they are 30 days old.

      BUYER BEWARE - I bought a patio heater from them that i thought was high quality. What I got is poorly engineered Chinese junk that sells locally for $300 and they charged me about $900 for. Before I ordered tried looking up who made the the heater for them but could not find it on the web. I ordered it because I stupidly believed for that price there was no way I was getting ripped off for poor quality Chinese stuff that sells for 1/3 of the price anywhere else. I figured I was not going to get ripped off and would return the thing even if I had to pay for shipping. Turns out of course that it is not returnable even though none of the products they list as returnable include this item (because they realize that most people will realize they are being ripped off). I am going to file a case with the BBB because it just doesnt seem fair to not be able to return an item that you will pay return shipping on.

      Placed an order for a wooden bench on Nov 29, 2024. Delivery date was estimated to be Mar 26 - April 11, 2025. Decided to cancel order on Dec 31, 2025 due to unreasonably estimated delivery date. Was told by Customer Service Associate that he'd submit a cancellation request, but not to worry because the cancellation would be honored. On Jan 2, 2025 received an email from WS stating "Unable to fulfill cancellation request." Immediately called and spoke with another line level employee to see if order could be cancelled or at least, have the charge for the bench refunded. Was told that I'd have to wait until bench was received in the US before PB would refund the charge. In the meantime, I'd requested emails confirming this process, yet those emails never materialized. The item arrived in the US in January, and the latest manager told me I now have to wait until the bench arrives at the Delivery Center before PB will issue the return/refund however, no one can/will provide a date by which they expect the bench to arrive at the delivery center.
      PB needs to understand two things:
      1) The process they have for cancelling orders is horrible in that it places the consumer right in the middle of it (PB) and its furniture vendors, and PB does not warn the consumer about this upfront.
      2) Trying to speak to a manager at Pottery Barn is almost impossible. The process Customer Service has in place (i.e., making it so difficult to speak to a high level manager) is unacceptable. PB ties the hands of their line level CS associates by not allowing them to do anything w/o manager approval, and then makes it nearly impossible for the consumer to speak with these managers.
      If you want an honest company that has the best interest of its customers in mind (rather than sticking to rigid processes that put the customer right in the middle of it and its vendors), Pottery Barn/Williams Sonoma isn't it.

      No more Williams Sonoma here because there is better customer service at ********I was upsold to the Zwilling Forte Plus instead of the Stainless Steel that I wanted. I was also told they were extra durable and did not contain PTFEs. They do contain this poison and within a few months started showing scratches and serious wear. ******** wont touch them because they are specific to WS. Williams Sonoma Corporate said that because I purchased in store, the manager has to be the one to help me and to next time order online in store so I can get help. The local manager didn't help at all and told me she would only help if it was inside the 30 day policy. $1100 in the trash because I believed their sales tactics.

      I ordered 4 rooms of furniture for a new condo in the winter months. Ordered in Nov 24, promised delivery mid December. No calls, no emails, or text about my order. Started calling just before Christmas and I was told I should see movement soon. Three calls someone with a brain and common sense realized my order needed to have an alert to find out why the warehouse wasn’t moving the items. Great. Still no call, email or text to provide an update. I called again early Jan 2025 and I was told my order was in transit to Fort Myers and is expected Jan 11,2025. On January 14th I called to request a split delivery just in case something was holding up my order. Oh yes, and by the way I canceled a desk and chair because they were on back order until end of March and maybe just maybe this was holding up the entire order. Well my most recent call, I was told my furniture of 4 rooms did not make the delivery truck and now I have to wait until the next route!!! I have time invested in this and to cancel all now would only set me back again. I also asked to speak to their complaint department and guess what. They do not have such a department. I was told to leave feedback on their website.

      Unprofessional. Supervisors hide from confrontation. Had me apply for a credit card as a ploy to get a 10% discount on my order. They pulled my credit, and as expected, knew Id get approved. When I went to pay for my items (within 5 minutes) the site said my time expired. When I called customer service they said they couldnt do anything and I had to call ***********. Asked for a supervisor, who the *** was getting guidance from the whole time, and was made to wait *************************************************** instead of offering to help.

      Pottery Barn robbed my of my money. I ordered a set of champagne glasses mid December. Instead I was sent a hideous paper towel holder (?) to which I called the store and said I needed my correct product. In rebuttal, Pottery Bar told me they would send a replacement- which never came. I then called a second time and was told that they would not send the items I had ordered unless I returned the product they sent me. I do not have a car, there is no store near me, and I refused to pay shipping for their mistake. They then told me they would not send me my products as a result. I asked for a refund and they refused. I tried calling back numerous times to discuss this, and I was hung up on three separate times. There has still been so resolution to this despite them taking my money.

      I spent 500+ and was told I would get free shipping. They charged me anyways when I called to get a refund they said sorry the code had expired and they had zero problems with charging me the extra $19 what an awful company. They are making hand over fist and can't offer free shipping on large orders. I will not give them my business anymore. Crate and Barrell is a million times better!

      I ordered two cabinets on 10/15/24, totaling over $3,000. The cabinets did not ship for over a month and that was the least of our problems with this company. They subcontract shipping to ***** Last Mile who was also HORRIBLE. The pieces were to be delivered on 12/4/24. It showed they were on their way, but then rerouted back to the warehouse. No one could give me an answer why. My phone number was on the order, no one called with any questions. The delivery was rescheduled and I made sure that step-by-step directions were left, the color of our house, my phone number in case they were unclear of something. Once again, on 12/17/24, they were to be delivered. And once again, they were rerouted back 500 miles to the warehouse. No answers. Nothing. I asked for a refund at this point. West Elm basically told me it's not their problem. ***** continued to say they don't know why the cabinets were not being delivered. Delivery was rescheduled for 12/26/24. Guess what? They didn't show up. SHOCKER! I got a call from a real live person, who seemed competent, and said they would be delivered on the following day. I got delivery notification on 12/27/24, but the cabinets were nowhere to be found on my property. They were delivered to a random address 20 MILES AWAY. The stranger tracked down my Dad, knowing he lived in the area we built in. We were out of town, so my 70-year-old father had to go load the cabinets from the stranger's house and take them to our property. I paid $300 shipping for this circus joke of companies. You'd think they would at least refund that money, but it is pretty much impossible to reach a real breathing human. *****, because they have such great products and I had wanted to buy beds from the company, but I would never, ever buy from them again due to this spectacle and the crappy customer service.

      I ordered a gift card on 12/14. Tracking label as of the 20th stated label was printed but UPS hadn’t received package. I called and they stated they were going to re-issue the gift card and have it overnighted. Saturday came, nothing. So I called back and they said there was no note explaining that and would have to be shipped again and should receive it Monday! Monday is here and they said the same thing. Shipping label was printed but never sent! Worst business I’ve ever dealt with. It was a gift card for crying out loud. Requested a refund. Let’s see if I get it! Would never recommend to anyone!
