1 starWorst furniture company and business I have ever dealt with. I bought furniture from them back in Jan 2022. Was told Ill receive In April 2022, which got pushed to June then July. All of which I had to call and track since nobody from the store or warehouse was giving a clear expected date or delivery. Delivery July 29 was tons all my items will be shipped. Received my banquette which was scratched and torn and my dining chairs didnt even come!! I called to ask after waiting 1-2 hours on hold nobody from store to warehouse has any idea where my chairs are or when Ill get them. They dont even give me a refund but they did charge my card and if I dont pay thatll ruin my credit. This is for chairs I dont even have they have charged me. Since 29th July I have called everyday and they say theyll call me and update me and nobody on emails or phone has any idea expected delivery or want to give me a refund. They keep giving me a run around! If I could call the police I would this is fraud for such an expensive store to do this! I would have never shopped here and want all customers to know this before they buy. I want my refund !!! Deserve a call and explanationReview fromChristine P

1 starI would give zero stars if I could. This review is for Pottery Barn Kids (BBB routed me to the parent company page to leave the review). I ordered furniture from Pottery Barn Kids for my son's nursery before he was born, despite my friend's warning that Pottery Barn is a huge scam and I would never receive my furniture.Lo and behold, after multiple delays, my dresser, crib, and crib conversion kit were scheduled to be delivered. When the delivery driver showed up, he had the dresser and crib conversion kit, but no crib. His paperwork from the Pottery Barn Warehouse had a handwritten note that the crib had already been delivered. If it was delivered, it certainly wasn't delivered to me, the person who ordered and paid for it.After multiple calls to the delivery scheduling line, and multiple promises to call me back with more information, I was finally told that they would place an order for a new crib while they continue looking into what happened to the one that was "delivered." I've still tried calling and calling to check the status of the original crib, as I'm going to need a place for my son to sleep sooner rather than later, but no one is able to tell me anything.I have to agree with my friend that Pottery Barn is indeed a scam, and I sorely regret giving them my business. Don't make the same mistake we did. I will never order anything from Pottery Barn Kids or Pottery Barn again.Review fromJuliana K

1 starPLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FORM HERE. Please don't buy Open Box item here.Open Box typically means gently used items that people have returned or the store has used as a floor model. It should not mean a couch that is disgustingly covered in dirt (literally black film over the entire thing) and cushions with permanent tape marks over it. I had to get it professionally cleaned and even then, there is damage that won't come out. I also wouldn't expect to argue with a reputable company about them selling garbage to a customer, even at a heavy discounted open box rate. The couch I bought even came with completely wrong legs. I had chosen the exact color or couch when purchasing and it's on my receipt. It was especially interesting when they tell you that Open Box means anything could come - that doesn't even make sense. Ignoring the filthy couch the sent me, it's also the wrong legs. I didn't pay for this. All in all their customer service folks were not helpful, basically telling me that it is what it is because it's open box. Great answer. Moreover, they're management was a stone wall. I searched, but there's no policy for what Open Box mean for West Elm. It just means accept any used garbage they send you. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE FORM HERE. Garbage items with garbage customer service.Review fromLucinda V

1 starWest Elm - terrible customer service and deceitful. Highly discourage anyone from doing business with West Elm. I can't speak for the rest of the Williams Sonoma brands. I purchased a coffee table, side table, and ** console in May, 2022. Two items arrived with some delay. The ** console kept getting delayed. For months. I emailed, sent FB messages, tried multiple times to call. No response to seven emails. No response to ******** messages. My options turned into filing a dispute with my CC card or getting really stubborn about calling. I waited over ********************************************************************* early August 2022. This agent informed me my item was discontinued and out of stock, and would never be shipped to me. He did his best to help, I will give him that. He looked for another item that was ready to ship. We couldn't find anything even close to what I needed. He told me a supervisor would reach out to me to try to come up with a solution to "make things right." Of course this never happened. So I was waiting again for West Elm to follow through, and still with an unfurnished home. If you can't do something, let me know. I will then move on to get the job done. My issue is poor customer care, creating a months long delay in furnishing my home. Truly awful company that does not care about customers. I don't trust anything they advertise or claim. Avoid at all costs.Review fromCJ C

1 starQUALITY DEFECT:I ordered 3 kitchen counter stools and one had major defect (paint was off and legs unbalanced). The item is still defected at the 3rd delivery. BAD CUSTOMER SUPPORT: I called the support line twice (the 1st lady pretended there was a bad signal and cut off the phone; 2nd lady said she would work on my return and then put me on hold for another 30min without having anyone get back to me. They pretend to have a nice attitude but they don't actually solve the problem.Review fromBryan W

1 starDo not shop here, no matter what. Their products are falsely advertised and no better than the cheapest things you could find on Overstock, Wayfair, or any other low-rent web site. We paid more than $1,600 for an "all weather" wicker outdoor couch -- after just more than 13 months, it is completely falling apart, despite the fact that we keep it covered 100% of the time that we're not using it. West Elm says they can't replace it because company policy is that anything outside 12 months is irreplaceable -- this is actually generous, the current policy is 30 days. This despite the fact that their "all weather" outdoor furniture is nothing of the sort -- even covered and protected, it can't withstand the most basic weather, much less "all" of it. Their customer service is even worse than the furniture: After promising to replace it, they changed their mind two weeks later and said they wouldn't. Asked why "all weather" furniture wouldn't last more than 13 months, they shrugged and said there was nothing they could do. They have no ability to accept responsibility for the fact that their products are bad; they admit that customers are right to be frustrated but do nothing about it. You're better off literally anywhere else -- at least if the cheap Overstock furniture breaks, you haven't thrown away $1,500 on a company that admits its furniture is terrible but won't do anything to fix it.Review fromDanielle L

1 starFirst customer service reps are nice on the phone but dont actually accomplish anything. I was told I was refunded since my rug I ordered never showed up and they said they dont know what happened. Ive put countless calls and emails in trying to figure out where my refund is and they just keep saying wait longer. Its been a month!! Still no refund and Ive filed with my credit card now to get my money back but west elm is still not giving me email confirmation although they claim they will send it. Its been a nightmare.Review fromErica G

1 starStunned, frustrated, and out $1250.I was excited to order custom draperies from Pottery Barn, who I have known to be a reputable company. My order was placed in January 2022, with an expected delivery date of February 2022. After frequent delays, I noticed that the estimated delivery date was automatically rolling to the following day. Clearly bogus. After calling and speaking with customer service, it was explained that this was in customs, and the agent told me that they have no way of knowing where it is or when it will arrive. I have called many times, have been treated with disregard for my order, and have been unable to learn when this order will actually show up. Recently, I was charged the full amount of the order, which presumably meant the order was live and in route. However, once I checked the tracking *** numbers given by Pottery barn, they too are bogus and do not exist in the system.I have paid $1250.I have been given bogus tracking #s I have no way of knowing if this order is real. This wreaks of scam, and I am stunned that this is how Pottery Barn is doing business.Review fromCailyn B

1 starPottery barn has gone way down hill over the past 2 years. We have been loyal customers for 15 years. This is our fifth piece of furniture that arrived with damage in the past 1.5 years. The dining table that I waited 6 months for arrived dented and cracked and that was the last straw. I highly recommend not purchasing from them or you run a high risk of waiting months for a piece, only for it to arrive broken and be put at the bottom of the list for a replacement.
