      I had an account I setup to receive funding from the **** I got my deposit after my account was hacked and sofi wouldn't help me because someone else was using the account and they wouldn't even ask for identification, long story short I lost thousands of dollars because sofi wouldnt work with me, they didnt request ID verification from anyone even me, when I brought it up they requested me to verify my ID and I did then shortly after they closed my account for fraudulent activity even though they have access to the location of who was using it and couldve easily contacted police to get furthee information, sofi is NOT a bank and it makes sense why theyre not BBB rated past 1 star

      I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction regarding the closure of my account and the prolonged delay in processing my refund. Despite multiple attempts to resolve this matter through your support channels, I have encountered significant obstacles, including:Lack of Acknowledgment: Each time I contact support, I am informed there is no record of my previous communications, leading to repetitive and unproductive interactions.Inadequate Support: The responses provided have been vague and unhelpful, failing to address the core issue or offer a clear path to resolution.This situation is unacceptable. Holding onto customer funds without clear communication or resolution undermines trust and raises serious concerns about your business practices.I request the following actions be taken immediately:Detailed Explanation: Provide a clear and comprehensive explanation for the closure of my account.Refund Processing: Initiate the refund process without further delay and confirm the expected timeline for the funds to be returned.Improved Communication: Ensure that all future communications are documented and that I receive timely and informative responses.If this matter is not resolved promptly, I will have no choice but to escalate it through external channels, including filing complaints with consumer protection agencies and sharing my experience on public forums.I hope to see this issue addressed with the seriousness it warrants.

      1 Star Frustrating, Unprofessional, and Poor Communication I applied for a loan with SoFi, completed all required paperwork, and even received a conditional acceptanceonly to find out later that it was never processed. I reached out multiple times to my **** *****, to support, and through the app, but received no response. Eventually, I had to use an entirely different service just to get a live person to speak with me.The reason for denial? They falsely assumed I didnt live in my own home and intended to flip it, despite me uploading multiple documents proving my residency. The confusion stemmed from a mail forwarding issue beyond my control, which I promptly corrected with the **** and credit bureaus, and submitted proof to SoFi.Despite this, my documents were ignored, and ***** never followed upnot even once. The entire experience was disorganized, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. I expected better from a company that claims to be tech-forward and customer-centric.

      I wish there was an option for 0 Stars, as I would be happy to score my overall experience with Sofi. I initially took out a loan with Sofi, at the end of signing the agreement I realized that they charged an additional $10,000 on top of the loan. I was stunned at this and could not back out. However, I made the mistake of not returning the loan amount to them. To add insult to injury, I have made 8 payments and to date my balance does not reflect that any payment has ever been made as I am now a few hundreds dollars above the loan amount. This is not a benefit to me but to the company who can steal from the people who are in need. I am beyond upset and appalled at this situation. I had to take out another loan so I could pay them off. They are not here to help but to sink you deeper into debt. I do hope that if someone else is reading this review, and is considering going with Sofi, that they DO NOT!!!

      They approved a loan, said sign yo fund and never could complete. Spoke to so many people and submitted so many tickets... can share screenshots with dates, etc... hit our credit without permission a second time.. so much more.. I am seeing what legal action can be done??

      Up until just over a month ago I never had a problem with SoFi, but now I would say they are the worst bank in the industry, even worse than ****************Bought a sofa in ******** which is where I reside currently, and never received it. I used my SoFi debit card so I filed a dispute with them. 60 days later the retailer tells me since you filed a dispute we are not going to issue a refund, you will need to take it up with SoFi.For the past 30 days or so I have been writing to SoFi's dispute team but the only thing they will tell me is 1) the merchant is allowed a certain amount of time to respond. 2) SoFi can take 90 or more days to review this issue.Despite my question as to exactly how much time the merchant is allowed, or my other question is where are we in the process are we getting closer to resolution, they simply send me the standard responses which I already noted.Additionally I filed a complaint to SoFi's resolution team about the fact that their dispute team will not tell me anything outside a standard response and they replied saying sorry we understand it can feel daunting but "insert standard response here" but if you have further questions please email **** have emailed ***** at SoFi, and he does not reply, at all, he ignores me. I have not used vulgarity, or other curse words, I have used standard english to express how depressing this is, and to please have someone tell me something I don't know such as exactly how many days does the merchant have left to reply.Anyway, I do not recommend SoFi, they will simply treat you like a mushroom. Keep you in the dark and feed you bullcrap.This has been ongoing since April 4th.

      I am so happy that I have SoFi! My account got hacked and they took over $6,000. I was told not to contact the bank but I did and I am so glad I did! After dsys of phone calls , waiting on hold for hours they sent me the money back ! Im happy to I have SoFi as my bank !!!

      I absolutely would never recommend them. They charged me $25.00 "inactivity fee" for HOLDING a stock? I'm sorry I didn't sell it? Worst company I've ever banked with and that says a lot considering I've banked with *************** for years.

      Sofi doesn't stand behind fraudulent charges that hit your checking account. My account was hacked in Nov 2024 and $1800 was removed from my Sofi account without my permission. I have contacted them and explain what had happened. They didnt even look into it at all b4 i was denied any funds back.discussed Client
