    I have been a vip user of ********************** for well over a year and while the subscription service is annoying I have dealt with it until today I needed to order more laundry sheets today and went in the app I was excited to see that my favorite scent was 40% off and loaded up my cart, however the sale price was not reflected I reached out to support and they responded quickly asking how they can help me and I explained Then nothing for quite some time So I said whatever and went back to the app to see if it was fixed and it was they removed the sale!!!!How pathetic is that I am done and have cancelled my vip and subscriptions cant wait to see if I will have issues with canceling

When you reached out to our Customer Happiness team on 8-3, our team explained that only 1 promotional sale link can be applied to a cart per order. If another promotional link is clicked before that order is completed, the newest promotion overrides what was previously added to the cart. We sincerely apologize for any confusion. Our team offered to cancel the order you placed so that you could reapply the *** shop price sale that you were looking for and added $20 to your Grove account in credit for the confusion.     I recently had a very specific question about one of their laundry detergents and whether or not it contained enzymes. I spoke to ******* who was very helpful and took the time to delve more deeply into the question. While she was unable to answer it on the spot, she did refer it to their product specialist team and I expect an email back within the next 24 hours.

    I've been thrilled with my Grove.co membership from 2020 to present (2023 July). I love supporting their mission of plastic-free and natural. All their products are cruelty-free, non-toxic, no animal testing, etc. They have their own product lines of cleaning and personal care items, as well as my favorite brands, like Dr. ********** ********* ******* Generation, Method, etc. It's easy to choose which items are on monthly subscription and which items are just one-time purchase. I haven't had any bad experiences, I wonder if all the bad reviews are from people who just wanted to get the free gifts for signing up and didn't pay attention or read that it's a subscription service, which was very transparent. I voluntarily signed up for the *** membership, which is annual not monthly, and unlocks free shipping for much cheaper than Prime.If I can add a feature request: I miss being able to have some products shipped bi-monthly or quarterly. This former feature was advantageous for Grove as well, when I was buying on recurring subscription, I often accidentally over-purchased and would stash away extras until needed, but now I only keep a small number of essentials on subscription and just wait until I run out of other items to order more.

Our team canceled and refunded your most recent *** renewal ($21.46). We were unable to refund the older charges since they were outside of our refund and cancellation policy window.Your first purchase with Grove Collaborative was on 5-3-2018 which is when your *** trial membership began. Before your *** membership renews for the annual charge, Grove emails you to notify you that this is about to happen, which is a notice of the charge that is about to occur. Customers may cancel their membership for this optional service at any time. Per our Terms of use, If you sign up for the *** Program, you authorize us or our Payment Processors to charge your payment card for the applicable *** Program subscription fee and applicable tax (if any) on an annual basis until you cancel. The *** Program subscription fees are non-refundable, however if you feel that you were charged in error and contact Grove at ********************************* within 30 (thirty) days from the date of the charge, Grove may refund the subscription fees, at its sole discretion.     Grove has predatory sales tactics. The first few orders they try every trick in the book by automatically subscribing you to subscriptions and recurring shipments, they also ON TOP of that try and sneak a "VIP membership" into your cart without telling you which is a $20 monthly recurring fee for basically nothing. It is unfortunate because I like their products. What prompted me to write this review is this last time I went to use the website they tried to entice me to download the app by saying "use ***** at checkout for a discount". Well I downloaded the mobile app and placed an order and there was NO place to enter a discount code in the app. PURPOSELY deceiving and misleading. This company is a money grab.

    Grove is awesome!! I am surprised to see negative reviews here, their products and customer service have always been exceptional and because of that, I have been a loyal customer since 2019. The few issues I have had with orders (not the companys fault - stolen boxes) were resolved quickly and painlessly.Grove is a subscription service, so when you put something in your cart there is an option to subscribe or buy once. The subscribe option is the default, but all you have to do to avoid getting things you dont want on repeat is to check a box right under the item in your cart. It is really that easy- Click a check ***** No one is trying to scam you. They send you a notification about one week before your stuff is shipped so you can edit/confirm your order is correct before you get charged for anything.Grove, my family loves you! Thank you for giving us products and a company we will always be proud and eager to support!

    Fortunately for me my credit card alerts me when charged. Unfortunately for me, they have charged me the last three years. I thought I had canceled my subscription, and I HAD. But I didnt know that I had been subscribed to TWO subscriptions. The second one charges yearly and you get nothing if you dont click on a link to request it. Why would I click on something I had cancelled? I think its the definition of passive income ************* but highly unethical!

We want to offer you the best user experience possible.Your first purchase with Grove Collaborative was on 02-24-2020 which is when your *** trial membership began. Per our Terms of Use, if you enroll in the *** Program through a trial membership, at the end of the trial period we will automatically charge you a one-year subscription fee (plus applicable tax based on your zip code) using your stored method of payment, and your membership will renew each year thereafter, unless you cancel your trial prior to the end of the trial period. If you cancel your trial, you will be charged applicable shipping fees with your future orders under $49. Our *** membership program is optional and is cancellable at any time in your Grove account.The optional automatic shipments part of your account was canceled, on 05-27-2020, but your *** membership was still active on your account. When you contacted our Customer Happiness team on 5-11-2023, your *** membership was canceled and the most recent *** charge was refunded per the terms of our Refund Policy.     If I could give less than a 1 star I would. I was routed to their website via a local *** movie theatre, lured in by the ad that said I would get a free green cleaning supply. Of course, it wasnt free and you need to spend at least $30 or so (cant remember exact amount) before it becomes free. It is never clear you are subscribing to get these same products delivered ever month when I checked out. It was only until I got a text saying my next order (a month later) was going to be shipped that I tried to cancel any further charges. There is NO way to delete your credit card info on site, you can only add another credit card!!! If that isnt a SCAM & super shady in itself and there is NO obvious phone number nor email listed. I am going to call them based on finding their phone number after googling if others have had similar problems with this company!! And low and behold there are a bunch of 1 stars in these reviews!! Unfortunately, their replys are equally shadyimplying they have remedied the situation (but arent changing anything in the way they automatically make someone subscribe then make it next to impossible to unsubscribe-the website says to scroll down the page and click unsubscribe but this does NOT work!!) You can ONLY submit a form to contact them. I submitted a form on 5/9/23 and still have not heard back (5/11/23) AND I believe they are titled purchase interest charge which is completely covert. They dont even say Grove collaborative or have a number to call like other companies are required to have for transparency or credit card charge disputes. Ive literally never taken this long to write a negative review but hopefully whoever is reading this will be proactive (and check reviews before taking into the initial free gift trap) vs having a hard ****** learned after the fact. Sounds like the only thing I am going to have power to do is send back the box (in another review) when I get it and hopefully they will credit my card?!

    Scam as per everyone who has already reported on here. I did not consent to the *** membership and I was charged $19.99 annually. The loops on their website they create when asking how to cancel membership never take you to a clear section to allow for such action. This needs to be made public as their e-commerce is not authentic and is money scamming.

    I joined Grove a few years ago and was initially pleased with some of the products. The customer service always responds quickly and always replaces damaged items or gives me a credit for my next order. And then in the past 6-8 orders I have had nothing but problems. Missing items from my orders, advertised free items replaced with something I didnt want or like. So I will not be renewing my membership! Please be advised .. Grove is not what it used to be!!
