    On june ****** I attempted to use XOOM to transfer money to the ***********, I entered the necessary info with name of person,address,location etc. I was informed that the province needed to be added but there wasn't a block for it and it said check the listed provinces but it was not there ie(********** ) --i COULD NOT COMPLETE THE TRANSACTION AS I LOGGED IN 10 MORE TIMES With no results ! I have used XOOM FOR MANY YEARS AND THIS IS FIRST TIME I HAVE SO MUCH TROUBLE !! I called their number for help twice today seeking a solution but nothing but a run around ,one person said that they showed the province and it should be on my computer site --not ! My last call the man said he couldn't find my account or g mail ,or home phone number --wow losers all over the place ! This has been a nightmare and there is not enough space here for me to cover all of the **** passing foolishness-- cheers !!!

    I made a purchase for purses and paid the merchant through Xoom PayPal. I never received the purses and the merchant will not respond and took down their website. I contacted Xoom and they won't help me get my money back. The tracking number I was given was a fake number confirmed by *****.

    This complaint is regarding two international transfers made through Xoom, which were never received by the recipient. Despite repeated efforts to resolve the issue directly with the companys customer **********************, ******************** has failed to provide either proof of delivery or a refund. The two transactions are XCPXWC53 from December 3, 2024 ($363.49 charged to my ***** card 0632) and XWTXQ9PT from February 27, 2025 ($363.49 charged to my ***** card 9776). Although Xoom marked both transactions as "completed", the intended recipient at ********************* (account ****** never received the funds. I confirmed this by reviewing the recipient's bank statements, speaking directly with the recipient and a representative from ************, and confirming that there have been no refunds issued. In multiple good-faith efforts to resolve this issue, I have contacted Xoom customer ********************** several times. After first contact on April 2, 2025, Xoom prematurely tried to close the case without reviewing the relevant documentation. April 16, 2025 Xoom told me the bank statements I submitted were "invalid" because they did not cover the continuous timeframe from Dec 2024 - Mar 2025. On April 18, I uploaded the recipient's complete, continuous statements. I called again on April 22, and the representative confirmed receipt and said they would request proof of disbursement from their transfer partner. I received no update, so called back on April 29. I was told the statements were now confirmed as valid, the funds were not found, and the case was escalated to the refunds team with resolution expected in 2448 hours. No proof of payment or refund was ever provided. Therefore, I would greatly appreciate any assistance the Bureaus could provide in ensuring Xoom complies with consumer protection laws governing remittances.

    On Feb.14 2025 I had 3 transactions pending on my bank account. I called ******************** and told them that I dont even have an account with them to stop these transactions. 2 for ****** and 1 for ****** I put a claim in to get a refund and they approved my claim but still has not gave me my mo ey back. They keep telling me to call my bank and tell them that they used 3DS to approve my refund. My bank hung up on me when I told them that. Xoom.com appeoved my claim why are they not refunding my money. I dont even have an account with these people they cant even tell me where my money went. I am a student I dont get that much money for these people to steal it. Please help with this matter. If you can. Thnk you.

    I made a Xoom cash pick up transaction of $100 on 12/27/2024. I accidentally mixed up the last names of the recipient causing them to be unable to get the funds. I called xoom on 12/29/2024 to cancel the transaction which they did. I was supposed to receive a refund in 3-5 business days. Its now 2/14/2025 and i have yet to receive the refund. Ive called many times and they all say the refund has been completed. Ive sent them proof of statements showing no refund has been received and they give me the run a round. I just want my money back.

    Complaint against Xoom for their mishandling of a transaction dispute and lack of adequate customer **********************. On January 5, 2025, at 11:44 PM, I mistakenly transferred $855 under Transaction ID *********** to an account with the name **** ********* ********. I was shocked to discover that the transfer was completed, even though the receiving account did not match the intended recipient's name, which raises significant concerns about Xoom's verification process.Timeline of Events:January 9, 2025, 11:17 AM: I contacted Xoom customer ********************** and was assured that the bank would be contacted to reverse the transfer. I was promised a follow-up within ***** hours. However, from what I later understood, the bank was not contacted, and this delay may have cost me the chance to reverse the transaction, as timeliness is critical for such matters.January 13, 2025, 7:31 PM: I followed up and was again told that the bank would be contacted. I was again promised a response within ***** hours. no one reached out to me.January 16, 2025, 4:26 PM: I was informed that the bank had refused to reverse the transaction. I requested escalation, and the representative assured me that a supervisor would contact me within an hour. No supervisor ever contacted me.January 16, 2025, 9:15 PM: I opened a formal case with Xoom Customer ********************** and was assigned Case Number ********. Despite this, it has been more than 24 hours, and I have yet to receive a *********** Concerns:1.Verification Issues: The transaction was completed even though the receiving account did not match the intended recipient's name. 2.Lack of Timeliness: Xoom failed to act promptly to contact the bank, significantly reducing the chances of reversing the transaction.3.Lack of Communication: I have consistently been told that I would receive follow-ups within specified timeframes, yet Xoom has failed to provide any updates or resolutions.

    Date of my transaction: 12/29/2024 I was attempting to withdrawal money from my PayPal account to be transferred to my debit card card using Xoom. The transaction failed and no one wants to take responsibility for not giving me my refund back. I called Apple wallet and they told me to change the location of the refund because apparently the virtual card on Apple wallet constantly changes which is why the transaction refund is failing. When I called Apple Pay pal, they point the finger at Xoom when I called Apple Pay Xoom they point the finger at PayPal. I had an employee use vulgar language towards me because I wanted to speak to a supervisor. Xoom just keeps blowing me off telling me it will be resolved eventually. Seems like theyre stealing my money. Please resolve

    I tried to send money out of my PayPal account to my personal account ********************** said that the transaction was canceled but they never refunded my money and they still have not refunded my money this was 3 days ago

    I setup direct Deposit for my account with my employer and the night before payroll I received an email stating that my account was permanently limited and could not access or withdrawal any funds for 120 days. I was not given a reason from customer ********************** and was told that there was nothing that they could do because it was placed by an automated system. Please help me get this Resolved because that is my Rent and Son's Christmas Presents money. Thank you so much.

    Xoom Corporation, a company located at *********************************, recently implemented a system to fraud check bank account numbers and routing numbers. Unfortunately they are using small amounts such as 0.01 to verify the accounts, thus allowing scammers/fraudsters to add stolen bank accounts to their services.On 11/11/2024 a deposit for 0.01 was made to my checking account at US BANK by ******************** and on 11/13/2024 a withdrawal of $2000 was posted against my checking account. I DO NOT have an account with ********************. Up until finding the fraudulent transaction I did not know of Xoom's existence.After a second call I was able to reach Xoom support. **** cordially handled the transaction fraud and assured that this would be cancelled and refunded within six days. However had Xoom created a better secure system, such as PayPal's double transaction with varied amounts in double digits, then this fraud would had never occurred.I would like the BBB to investigate if Xoom for allowing fraud on their system and to please pass on the concern of victims such as myself to their management so that this security fraud can be fixed as soon as possible. While I made it known to the agent to escalate this potential breech in security I am very doubtful it will be taken with the level of urgency it dictates.The case number at Xoom for this fraud issue is 34080899.Thank you for your time and I appreciate your efforts in this investigation.
