      I am a long time customer of **************** (or was) until recently. I ordered a mousepad, 25 photo prints and five Christmas cards. They charged me $18 to ship these items (?!) and they arrived 17 days after I ordered them. The quality was not good and the mousepad had the photos almost peeling off. I reached out to them for a refund and started a chat. The first rep disconnected the chat mid chat and just never reached out (despite having my email) to follow up. This lead me to open up chat #2. This rep just wanted nothing to do with being helpful. His response to my issue with the products was to tell me to email their customer service department. I asked THIRTEEN TIMES for his manager and he refused to transfer me. THIRTEEN!! Keep in mind, I wouldn't be going through this ordeal if they hadn't sent me a defective order. Now, I have to call in and spent FORTY minutes being transfered etc to get someone to help. This is a $7 mousepad. At this point, I am sure they do this because they assume people will give up. But in reality, all this does is ensure that I will never ever do business with them again. I was given a refund for the mousepad (after uploading a photo) and PARTIAL refund for shipping totaling $14. For an hour + of my time. Their customer service responded to my email (I sent them a transcript of the chat and my complaint) and they made claims (which I proved to be incorrect) and said they consider the matter "closed." No explanation was provided regarding the horrific service received and I would advise that you steer away from this company.

      Unfortunately, ShutterFly.com has become a company that sends emails to there customers demanding that they make a purchase in 5 days or they will suspend the account. If you get lucky and are able to speak with a customer service representative (it took me almost ********************************************** with a live agent). Then they will not be knowledgeable about the demand that ShutterFly.com is placing on customers (this after a almost two year covid shutdown), when majority of the US citizen did not work. However, their reason for suspending accounts is because customers didn't make a purchase in 18 months. Apparently, it is more important for ShutterFly.com have their customers buy pictures/products than pay their mortgage/rent and put food on the table, in a time when the essentials are more important. Another issue, ShutterFly.com will automatically change the address on your account after the customer has manually changed it in all areas, it happened to me within 5 days. You cannot speak with a live customer service agent due to the phone number consistently directs you to the chat, which you have to trick to get to one. Lastly, you can not cancel the account yourself, but you will have to call or chat with a agent to cancel your account. I will not be returning to ShutterFly.com. Although my local printer prices are a little more, I will gladly do business with them, which provided a 1-2 day turn around on the same products that ShutterFly.com offers, or since I am crafty will make the products myself. Never in my life have I had a business demand that I purchase something from them or they will suspend and even close my account. ShutterFly.com is acting like they are financial institution with terms like that. FYI: If you close your account, make sure to manually remove all your pictures and give it a few days up to a couple weeks, to make sure that it remains removed. I do not recommend the usage of ShutterFly.com.

      Ordered a 24x36" metal print to capture a special moment of my daughter and *********** was $19.99 for this product. Item arrives, two corners bent. **************** says they will redo the product and send me another. Second one arrives, bent corners. I share with shutterfly that while I understand that the shipping company is what caused the damage, it's the inferior packaging. They sandwich a 3 foot aluminum picture in some thin cardboard with only a very tiny sticker that says fragile on one side. Placing a small foam corner protector likely would alleviate this issue. **************** says they will make this right, and demand they package it better if I want a redo. So I order a third, and it arrives... damaged on two corners and same packaging. Only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is **************** was easy to contact, they processed my requests fast, and now they are giving me my full refund. Will not order again from them. Now I have 3 damaged large photos and it ruined the memory of trying to get something nice

      I have to say I do LOVE shutterflys products and the fact that theyre constantly giving discount codes. Their products ALWAYS come out nice and if theres any issues they resolve it quickly. Id admit the products do sometimes take forever to ship out to you but guess what? STOP BEING CHEAP AND PAY EXTRA FOR SHIPPING!! Your order is last priority when you choose free shipping which is like with any company. I did have my issues in the past with Shutterfly bc I was being cheap and always chose free shipping hahah now I pay more. I ordered 2 custom kid books and I paid for shipping and Omg got it within a week!!! Talk about aaaaamazing! The books are really cute. Shutterflys customer service is always quick to resolve any issues so people people be patient and more good will come. Im talking from experience. Patience is a virtue after all. Thanks Shutterfly.

      Not only was my custom design not centered on their Easel Back Canvas, the quality of the canvas was cheap and looked like plastic. I had to have three different chat sessions to try to remedy this. The digital preview shown to me at the time of ordering was centered, but when it arrived in the mail it was not. The first person said they would give me a credit and even though I explained I didn't want to order the canvas wrap again, they gave me a credit for only that item and the chat was suddenly terminated. The second person asked me to wait so long that the session expired. The third person finally gave me a refund after much time wasted. Their chat process is very slow. If you do their chat (and that seems to be their only option), keep your eye on the countdown timereven if you are waiting for them to respondbecause if you let the clock expire you will be disconnected and have to start over with someone else. Shutterfly, you did a subpar job and then wasted my time trying to resolve it. You have lost me as a customer for life.By the way, I tried to leave this review on Shutterfly.com, and big surprisethey rejected it.

      I used to LOVE making Shutterfly books!!! I have several on my shelves from the past several years. I loved the format to pick a theme and personalize it. Now they only offer a blank book even though I picked a theme. The theme is nowhere to be found. It's worthless. I have had to find a different company but it's so sad because I learned the editing process in Shutterfly and wish I could stay with one company. I'm sad to say it but I will never be back.
