      Lost my order. Spent 3 hours trying to resolve the problem with 4 different online chat assistants. They continually ended the chats with me without resolving the issue. Attempted to call them and spent another half hour waiting to talk to someone. Never got thru. Told them 3 separate times that I just wanted my money back as the cards would not arrive in time for the occasion they were meant for. Was never reimbursed. So they basically just took my money and never sent me anything in return. Quite a scam they have going.

      When I uploaded my design, it looked slightly different then what mine was. I asked customer service support chat if it would actually look that way as the final product. He said the program just looks that way, but not the product. After receiving my product, it did not look like how it was suppose to. I called and the customer support said, I only can receive a refund on the item, but not the shipping. If it is not the customers fault, you should get all of your money back. This is a very terrible policy. Which tells me they do not care about their customers, and they're doing a money grabbing scheme. I recommend looking for local run companies to buy from.

      Holiday Photo Cards without photos. I received my order from Shutterfly for my Holiday Photo Cards that should have had seven (7) photos and they cards came without any photos on them. I waited on hold for 25 minutes and spoke to a representative about getting a refund for the order as the cards are useless. and they said NO, I ordered them without the photos and it is my problem. So, I now I disputed the charge and I will never ever use them again. No wonder they have a D- as a score.

      I ordered Christmas cards the weekend of Thanksgiving and had a promotion for free envelop printing...they came a week later with no addresses printed! I chatted with someone day of and they put in a reorder for free with a rush shipment.....yesterday (5 days later) I get an email from customer service saying they added credits to my account and I need to go in and reorder. I respond to confirm that mine were already reordered and expected to be delivered in 2 days. They tell me my reorder was cancelled and I need to go back in and reorder them AGAIN and re-upload my addresses!! By this time, they will never come in time to send them out for Christmas. It's my Son's first Christmas so they have cute professional photos on them..... I told them to keep their **** credits and their re-order and demanded a refund. I will never use Shutterfly again. Call them SH*TTERfly instead ** they are C***

      I've used Shutterfly for years, but my recent conversation with customer service has me questioning my loyalty. About a week ago I placed an order for several items. One arrived yesterday, a calendar mouse pad, and the entire image, my pictures and their pre-designed calendar, is printed crooked on the pad. I contacted customer service, and after waiting about ***** minutes for them to review the order and the picture I provided, I was told that it printed the way it looks in the order preview. ?!? I have since checked the preview of this item myself, and it is not crooked at all, besides, there's no way I could make their pre-designed area crooked. The problem is with the machine that printed it and the lack of quality control. I was told that they would give me credit for the item and shipping, but that I would have to reorder myself, bc if they reordered it would print crooked again. When I questioned this, the service rep. basically yelled at me via the chat. I took the credit, as it didn't seem like I would get anywhere, and I am just holding my breath that the rest of my order arrives without issue.

      I have been a Shutterfly customer for years, though in the past five years each time I have used the site I have become frustrated with their lack of transparency. They use deceptive promotional codes that they won't actually let you use at checkout and their shipping prices are astronomical. This last order I had more than qualified for the free shipping for orders over $79 but they said that promo didn't apply because there was another coupon used (a promotional credit from my child's school photos). I will not return to Shutterfly again.

      I have worked with Shutterfly for years and have generally been very satisfied. However this year they sent 50 less envelopes than cards so I could not send out my cards. I contacted them four different times to get this resolved. However the end result was that they could not resolve the issue. I had to go elsewhere to but envelopes. Shutterfly didn't even think that my 15+ years of being a loyal customer was worth a $10 credit to cover the cost for me to purchase envelopes elsewhere - envelopes that they failed to provide! I am sad to say that after 15 years I will no longer use them. I am in the service industry and if they care so little for their customers, I will take my business elsewhere.

      Deceptive promotional codes they won't actually let you use. ****** priced shipping and terrible customer service. It placed an oder instead of applying a promo code. I was not ready to place the order. Reached out to customer support. Waited in a 85 person line only to get cutoff during the long unhelpful chat because time had expired. Had to wait in the 80 person line again. They are a deceptive company with terrible customer service.

      The Shutterfly web site is clearly designed to overcharge the customer. After spending days of my precious time creating a photo album, when I clicked the "Place an Order" button, I was not given any shipping options and was not given the opportunity to enter the promo code (which is why I used the site - even though I had terrible problems the last time I used it). I quickly clicked the "Cancel Order" button that said you had 30 minutes to cancel, but the button mysteriously did not work. It was after hours, so I went on the "chat" to try and get help, which was slow. The chat person said they were applying the discount, but the emailed invoice I got showed no discount and actually showed an additional charge for a design upgrade that I never got. I tried calling customer service the next day to get the issue resolved, but they said they could not credit me the discount I was cheated out of, because the order was already in production. They only offer you credit to order something else that they will overcharge you on. Beware that this company's website is designed to scam you!
