  This company has not responded to 50+ phone calls asking for assistance since November. Not to say maintenance is not attended to. Thats the propertys saving ****** But It doesnt matter whether trying to get a hold of administration or accounting they dont return emails or phone messages. Who holds these abusive landlords responsible? They needed me to move but wouldnt give me a lease till the day before the move. Its been demeaning and I feel like a victim. Im new to dealing with landlords and this one is a Landlord from H***

  If Zero was possible that would be my rating. DO NOT rent from Essex Property Management- specifically the Silver Apartments in ************ *******************************. There is zero property management presence, concern, or support. Its a sad joke to pay for an apartment where theres no management.The property management is no longer on site hiding out from residents and their legitimate needs. From the initial self guided tours - the property management is ghost. The residents are fed up!My personal experience clearly violates my rights as a tenant and my legal right to enjoy my apartment. The lack of action feels racially biased against me as a black woman. As a resident body- were very frustrated and unhappy with the total neglect. The garage gate never works thus your car is unsafe. Why pay for security? There was a shoot out in the garage because of *************. The entrance is dirty, the mailroom is a messDO NOT RENT HERE- ESSEX SILVER IN *****!

  They closed my community office and when calling, no one picks or returns the ** calls. After many days of follow-up, finally they called me and took all the details from me about the lease renewal. They said they will get back with the needed details but never called me. When my lease renewal was just 1-2 days away, they called me asked that there is nothing they can do and now since you do not have notice period time left so you need to pay per month-to-month rent basis, even though they know that I was waiting to hear back from their end. In short, it felt like they deliberately wanted to harass me, even though I am with the same apartment for last many years. This is absolutely pathetic experience I had, and wanted to let the work know about how they treated me. Note: As far as I understand, I think I have all the details to back my points documented in email with them.

  Local office called me to give me heads up that their corporate office will call me on my provided feedback. But its more than 2 months now and no call received from their corporate office. Local office also didnt bother to check on it whether call had been received or not.My recommendation is to definitely stay away from such offices. Dont rent with Vesta apartment, ******* **** apartments in **********.

  No person in this leasing office ever replies to emails nor even picks calls to address any concerns even after this LiFE THREATENING incident I am going to explain in a bit.As a current resident, its a hopeless community with very poor infrastructure and ill maintained houses.Our roof collapsed in the kitchen because of leaks and the rubble that fell off the floor had life threatening nails and all kinds of sharp metal nuts which is LIFE THREATENING if someone had stood during the fall. It has only created mess and rubble with loooot of dust from the roof fall. Refer to the pictures Though the plumbing guys came, were very very arrogant to the questions asked, one guy even threatened walk out because he was asked basic questions, thats completely unprofessional. This was the last thing we would have asked as residents to the utter ill treatment we have been subjected to right from the move in to this Essex - ***************** apartment property.As current residents we expect/demand some accountability from management and compensation for all the extreme inconvenience and torcheres journey we have had. Pathetic infrastructure and even poorly maintained buildings.A big mistake having chosen to live here.All we are asking a move-out with NO penalty/early termination, to which they arent accepting. No Humanity even in ***** of **** THREATNING incident

  Imagine your surprise to come home to the apartment you still pay for only to find that the water is shut off, the washer and dryer you wanted to use is unusable, and unsanitary construction trash piled onto your cooking utensils. Probably half as surprised as finding half drank drinks littered through the place, as well as no usable toilets, or your husband's BBQ being used as a work bench. Maybe finding the lights still on or the apartment being used as a storage for all the construction tools for the extensive plumbing repairs taking place that we're communicated to be "We do not anticipate you being unable to use any part of your home outside of the time the vendors may be working in a single area."You might understandably be quite upset. I was horrified to find my apartment completely unusable in every single room. Moving is considerably stressful and being unable to complete my move unhindered and safely for the home I am still legally bound to and pay for is unacceptable. We brought our children and had planned on staying the next 48 hours to finish packing and were not able to do so with no access to water or bathrooms and no notice from management that our home was now a full construction zone. Zero stars.
