      The Date on the 20th day of July and the payment was taking out of my bank account on the 22nd of July. I was told by one Optima Tax Relief representative that they the service providers would handle my issues with the *** letters/orders/etc. I have not heard from them, other then the intinal contact. Was the can't give any suggestions till I become a client and my payment is paid. I call numerous time to find out what is needed from me and to how is the investigation going. Nobody knows anything wait ***** give representative time. A week has gone by nothing. One representative says " we will have his supervisor contact him so he can contact you" Nothing No call No show...so now it feels like this is poor business conduct. I want to cancel my business with them. They call me back right away the same day. To cancel. Now I ask about my refund? That you will have to set up appointment to speak with someone about that??????????? The intinal contact person is the one you have to speak to to get your refund. You can't be serious...this company should not be AAA+. you have over **** negative comments about their conduct and they are a AAA+. USE THERE SERVICE and then let me know if you still feel that way. I just want my refund they have VERY POOR SERVICE.

      Optima tax ignored issues with my past tax years that could have been easily fixed either by myself or themselves while they had power of attorney to do so.They failed to even inform me of these issues while they had power of attorney and were in communication with the *** regarding my past tax years.They filed tax years 2019 and 2020 on my behalf and did so incorrectly, making mathematical errors and not taking into consideration dependants. Thus reducing my refund and increasing my tax liability.I now have work to do still to correct my past tax years at my own time and financial expense. They failed to reduce my owed amount to the *** though that is the bulk of what they advertise that they do. I want a full refund of what I paid to them.

      I am seeking help with obtaining a refund from Optima Tax Relief. Upon contacting them I was told that they would assist me with getting relief from a tax burden through with the **** After reviewing my tax files and financial situation the agent that I spoke with painted a devastating picture of my tax burden. He stated that I owed the *** hundreds of thousands of dollars and insisted that they needed to refile a tax return for a year that he insisted that I did not file. He and everyone else that I spoke with at Optima ignored me when I showed proof that I had not missed filing for any tax year. Apparently what they do is file tax returns to make it appear that a client owes more in taxes than is actually on record with the **** I paid this company $18,000 and they ended my case after a year of collecting my money with an outcome of setting up a payment plan for me with the **** When told about the fees I expressed to the agent that I did not have that kind of money and was afraid that I would end ** in a worse situation. He assured me that I would not and asked me to just trust them. What I was afraid of has happened. I am out of $18,000 and left with a much larger tax burden than before working with Optima. I now realize that instead of sending money to Optima, I should have used it to pay down my tax **** and make arrangements with the *** on my own. I complained to Optima numerous times over a 1 year period due to not hearing anything from them for months at a time. When I did hear from them it was always a different person. The individual that initially wrote a contract to take my money I never heard from again. All of the individuals from this company appear to read from a script in their quest to ultimately take money from vulnerable customers. I am requesting a full refund due to this company taking money from me knowing the outcome of my case would not be favorable to me with the intention of ending the case as soon as money was collected.

      I have not been contacted by anyone from Optima Tax concerning this issue.  The fact that they have provided an untruthful response to this inquiry is a further testament to my complaint and what I have had to endure while doing business with them.  The total lack of integrity coming from them is appalling.  They are clearly in business to prey on the vulnerabilities of the general public.

      Again, I have not heard anything or spoken with anyone at Optima Tax about a resolution.  They are not currently working with me.  I cannot accept their response to this inquiry because they are still responding with lies which further validates the deception tactics that they use with clients and now the BBB.
