      The color of the shirts in the catalog and online are different than what I received....much brighter...must be the lighting...not even close...looks like a different shirt...I gave them 2 shots...will be sending this one back.

      We apologize for any inconvenience as photo shoot lighting and natural lighting used during our photo shoots can make the garments appear a bit brighter on paper vs. the actual garment in person. We will be refunding the shipping/handling for the 2 most recent orders for this customer, and we noted not to charge him for the use of the return labels as well.

      I bought an item that was delivered late, and the package opened, possibly worn, but not by me. After explaining to the customer service representative that the package that the shirt came in was opened, they gave me a return label to return the item. Once it was received by the company, they told me it was washed or worn and told me that they would not refund my purchase on an item that had been either worn or washed. If the item was washed or worn, it was not by me as it was opened before I received it. I have purchased close to a thousand dollars with the company, and they are going to squabble over a purchase under a hundred dollars. One would think they would value a return customer, but apparently not. Their items are pricey and appear of good quality, but there is a sizable markup on their end, translating into greater profit margins than other retailers. One would assume they eat the cost of the purchase instead of quoting me their return policy. Think twice before purchasing from this company.

      We were following our return policy guidelines in that we don't accept items back after them being washed; however, in this case, we issued an electronic gift card for this item for the customer today, and he won't have to return the item again; he has been personally emailed as well.

      Don't even think of ordering anything from this company because, God forbid, if you need to return or exchange something, it all becomes a scam. First, they do not acknowledge that you've even returned something with an email, you have to call them with the tracking number before they will admit that, oh yes, it looks like we have it. All I wanted was to exchange a jacket for a different size.
      After waiting a week for them and hearing nothing, I called again and was told, we're sorry, we dont have the size you want. We will Issue you a refund. If I didn't call them I would had never had known this. Waited two weeks, and, of course, no money was put back on my credit card. Called again, and was told that it was refunded two weeks earlier and maybe I should double check. How about I get a supervisor to look at this, and we'll call you back shortly, the kind lady in customer service told me......still waiting a week later for that call. Pretty much, standard issue scam practices. Now, I've had to get the credit card company involved because Carbon2Cobalt hopes you're just going to forget about the money they stole from you.       We apologize for any inconvenience as the way our returns department works is that an email is sent out once the return is processed, not when we receive the package. This item was returned was processed on 12/15 along with the refund. We will send proof of the refund to the customer. I am looking into this and someone will be contacting the customer about this.

      On 12/28/23 I wrote a review, blasting the customer service department for an issue I had with a return not being credited. I will admit it was a slightly unusual circumstances of what occurred, and why I was not being given a credit. however, I was able to reach the owner of the company who took a immediate interest and concern for the problem and long story short the issue was resolved!! Where there is a time and place to complain about issues with a business , there is also a time and place to praise for a company and its management for showing a true concern, and digging a little deeper into a problem to solve it. this is certainly one at a times to praise a company..

      The pictures in the catalog are gorgeous but clothing quality very poor. I was in retail many years and worked in high end clothing. The only way I can explain the material is if it were stretched beyond its capabilities. I actually never seen sweaters made that way. Not good. No idea where they came up with the pricing but way overpriced. Refund I sent back 2 weeks ago and was dealt with rude and arrogant behavior from their rep. Have to wait a couple days just to get a supervisor to call back. Looks like my $500.00 will not be refunded anytime soon. Please beware of buying from companies such as this. I was also told they have too many returns to deal with, this is why I haven’t received a refund yet. Unbelievable

      The quality is not worth the price. My purchases for my husband have poorly made button wholes and have faded unevenly with the washing instructions suggested. The items I purchased for myself were not well made, or sixed property. These items are priced high for what I would expect from what is advertised I high quality. I won't purchase from them again.       No brick and mortar stores, even in CA, is a problem. The service was fine, but the fact is that it cost me $21 to try on a pair of pants. That's more than 20% of the cost of the pants and doesn't include my time for the return. I'll be shopping elsewhere.
