  If there was a zero star on this product I would choose that star. I have used many hair products in my 50 yrs and I have never had breakage and loss of hair to the point of bald spots and sores on my scalp! All Olaplex products must be pulled from the shelves before more damage is done to others.

  I’ve been an avid user for many years, since the brand started really. I am a professional stylist that has used the product not only on myself but my guests as well. My hair as well as my guests hair has been noticeably more fuller, healthier, and hydrated while adding smoothness and shine. I really feel the products from this company have set the bar high when it comes to making hair healthier and more manageable.

  Olaplex has done wonders on my hair and has saved many Many of my clients hair! I have so many clients who rave over the health of their hair after using Olaplex products. I use it on a daily and I love it myself. I especially love the Olaplex #4C to clarify my hair after days of "life" happening to it. I like how clean it leaves my hair feeling, but not drying.

  Lost a significant amount of hair, the hair I have left is brittle and damaged. Avoid at all costs. My scalp is burning and itching constantly.

  I'd give 0 stars if I could. This whole line of products is garbage. It has ruined the structure of my hair, the condition of my scalp, has caused hair breakage all around my face and neck, and I only used the number 4 shampoo and number 5 conditioner a total of 4 TIMES over 3 months time span. Now 4 months later, my scalp feels right and numb, my long, blonde hair is now super dry, won't hold curl, has weird zig zag hairs, breakage all over the place. It's sickening. This company needs to hold accountability for their products and the damage they cause.

  I purchased 3 different Olaplex products (No 3,4, & 5) for myself and my daughter back in September 2020. We used them as directed. I experienced severe hair loss as a result and my daughter experienced hair loss coupled with an extensive rash and sores on her scalp, neck, and face. At the time, we didn't connect the dots that it was the Olaplex products but eventually we did figure it out and stopped using them. We went back to our previous hair care products but it took my hair a full 2 years to only partially recover. Because she's younger, my daughter's hair loss wasn't as noticeable and she recovered faster. However, she did develop a secondary fungal infection that required medical intervention. I only recently learned about the Olaplex lawsuit and Facebook group for other people who have suffered the same fate as my daughter and me. This company needs to be shut down. Period. End of story.

  This product needs to be recalled. Bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate may be able to bond to broken disulfide bonds but something is SERIOUSLY going wrong after that. With continued use the hair texture becomes like straw and begins breaking. When looked at under magnifcation the hair is hollow in portions all along the hair shaft. The company is denying the experience, which is shared by thousands of known users, is caused by their product. I'm in utter disbelief that this product is still on the shelf.

  My hair was doing well (or so I thought) when I first started using these products. I then noticed clumps of hair falling into my shower drain. I mentioned it to my stylist, as we had NOT been using bleach on my hair, or doing any other kind of process that would lead to this. I’d been using tne complete Olaplex system and that’s all. I started taking vitamins, wondering what was causing the regular hair loss that I’d never encountered before. I have spent A LOT of money on these products and would like a reimbursement as well as to join the class action lawsuit.

  Echoing what the rest said here, this made my hair fall out among other things... crazy breakage, texture damage, scalp sores, headaches, and more. I haven't used the product in around 8 months and things are still terribly, terribly wrong. My hair is STILL falling out and the breakage/texture damage is NOT healing. I have lost 70%+ of my hair. This past year has been utterly depressing and debilitating thanks to Olaplex. Did I mention that I only used #3 only ONE TIME as an overall treatment?

  This product should be reformulated or pulled from the shelves in my opinion due to a large amount of people claiming hair loss, breakage and scalp issues. I personally experienced all of the above and the timeline perfectly correlates with product usage. Website states for all hair types and daily use, yet my hair was falling out of my head. I have received a refund but that will not put the 50% of the hair I have lost back on my head. I do hope the damage caused is not permanent. Please know that I have seen a dermatologist and had extensive BW. This is an Olaplex not personal issue. Currently, there is a lawsuit pending for such claims. I caution those considering using the product to wait and see what happens.
