      I have yet to have any of questions answered. I also was asked about my experience, yet… I never got a hold of an actual person for close to two months.

      For many years they were great. Not so anymore. You buy them and you will be frustrated if you happen to get them to work at all. Bought set of 9 for my parents house too. We are all huge music lovers. I have to start from scratch now and buy different brand- saying goodbye to the worst performing product especially for $10K. Save yourself the pain and hours of troubleshooting and waiting for the chat to help. It won’t.

      If they had an option for zero stars I would choose it. Initially I thought Sonos made an awesome product. I spent Thousands of dollars outfitting my home with Sonos speakers. They did an app update recently and my Sonos Move quit working, I mad multiple attempt to call Sonos tech support for help and I had to wait on hold a minimum of an hour each time. The last time I got a hold of a representative, he told me that my speaker didn't work at which point he advised me that my speaker was out of warranty and the best they could do was offer me 30% off a new speaker. My speaker worked fine before the app update. This speaker originally cost me $400.00 and I had it for less than 4 years. Between the poor customer service and the fact that they won't stand behind their product, I have no choice but to not use them again and not recommend them to anyone in the future. It's really sad because I did love their product, but I can't stand behind a company that won't stand behind their products.

      What can be said about a poor product, the lack of customer service and lets not forget about IT support! I regret buying all Sonos products. Buy Boise or Bang and Olufsen...Much better support and service. Funny - does the company even care or read these reviews, especially since the average rating is 1.06/5.

      The app use useless. Nothing is working… with one app update they rendered $1700 useless… Whoever’s in charged needs to be removed effective immediately.

      Sonos was once - a very long time ago - a great product. BUT NO MORE. In the last year connectivity across many of their products has faltered miserably. Upgrades don't work. Playback is spotty. Their engineering staff is no longer focused on improving quality but rather just adding new products to the lineup. Customer Service @ Sonos is a sham - it appears their business model is to get you to upgrade vs solve any performance issues.
      Get yourself a Bose or a Denon system - you will be so much happier.

      They’re uptime for their software is awful. I hesitate to execute their software updates, because I know it’s likely their update will potentially break my setup. Plus the whole Sonos 1 not working without the desktop app now is also a horrid example of their product and product upkeep. It’s a miracle a company with this poor of software quality is still in business.

      When Sonos works, it's on point. However their software is HORRIFIC. I have spent over 3 hours in the last 3 days trying to reconnect speakers to my system. We are talking about over 12 speakers here. $10,000+. You would expect that when you spend that kind of money for the company to be responsive. NOT A SINGLE RESPONSE. Sonos apparently thinks that because their stock is currently doing well they can say screw off to their customers. Here's my suggestions after spending over 6 figures on Sonos products for houses and other uses in the last 5 years. Go with B&O or another premium brand who respects their customers. Don't go with what has become the Ford of speakers.

      The worst customer service I've ever encountered. I've requested a refund for items that never reached me (request refund before shipped), refund was request on Nov. 13th, and I have yet to receive it, and so far it has impacted my credit score. I had expected to pay this off right after, but I'm now waiting for refund that has never arrived.
      I have a support case open, and was told on the 25th that it would be processed within 2 - 3 days later, 6 days later and no updates. I have tried to contact them to get more info, they responded saying they'd look into it and update me with more info, of course the update never arrived.
      There is also multiple issues with their payment system not handling emails addresses correctly, if you try to order with a @proton.me email address, you'll be told that the purchase was successful and even be given a order number through the site. However, you'll never receive a confirmation email and after talking to support (also useless, I figured out that it was a issue with @proton.me addresses), turns out a order was never actually placed and the confirmation number cannot be found.
      The products themselves (got through bestbuy, which was a wonderful experience) need lots of setup to work correctly, and of course Sonos is no help. They basically try to con you into buying a $400 modem for their devices to fix network issues, when it's as simple as getting a usb-c ($4 - $12) to Ethernet adapter and hardwiring on device to stop network loops.
      Do not buy from Sonos website. Beware, they may sell devices targeted to those that are not technical/audio experts, but it may take a lot of work, trial and error or more money to fix issues with their devices.

      Stay away from this company. I purchased Sonos system ( one SL and Move) based on glowing reviews only to experience poor sound quality and intermittent disconnects. I contacted their customer support but since my problems cannot be duplicated when I call them they were unable to help. Their advice was to submit the report and call them immediately when the issue reappears. By then when I am able to connect to a rep the issue is mostly gone. Their other advice was to run a cat5 cable on my wireless speakers. I purchased the system in order to avoid cabling thru a concrete wall hence the wireless part. The worst part however is that Sonos forces me to upgrade their software by taking my system hostage by removing certain functionality (truetune) until I upgrade. Their upgrades ALWAYS result in system breakdowns and I have to spend about an hour to get my system working again EVERY TIME. I do have automatic upgrades disabled but that results in some of my functionality not working ( see above). I regret getting this substandard over-priced hardware and would return it in a heartbeat but unfortunately Best Buy only gives you 14 days to return their merchandise. Avoid Sonos, any other system will give you better performance and not brick after a software upgrade.
