      In 2022, I began at-home aligner treatment with Byte, trusting their promise of effective and professional dental results. I followed the treatment plan exactly as prescribed. Despite full compliance, the aligners did not produce the promised or expected outcomes.I reached out to Byte in 2024 to express concern over the lack of results and request a refund for the ineffective treatment. Instead of addressing the performance of the product, Byte focused solely on the timelinestating that because my treatment should have concluded and that my last contact was in 2023, I am no longer eligible for a refund.Byte has now denied my request multiple times, without acknowledging that the treatment simply did not work. Their policy-based denial does not address the core issue: I paid for a service that failed to deliver on its advertised and contractual results. As a consumer, I should not be penalized for the companys failure to ensure their product performed as intended.I am requesting a full refund for the ineffective treatment and for Byte to take accountability for their products failure to meet reasonable expectations. I am prepared to escalate further if necessary, but hope this complaint will lead to a fair and reasonable resolution.

      Back in 07/18/2024, I started my treatment bit byte. I was supposed to have 19 aligner. They only gave me 15 aligners for the top and 7 for the bottom bite. However, when I was ready to receive the remaining of my treatment 4 left in the top, they all of a sudden delayed stating that I needed to go to a dentist and have them write a letter that I should stop with the treatment because of any problems? So I explained I didnt have a problem, but that if they wouldnt continue with my treatment that I wanted a refund. They refuse. I need help, I need a refund because I never wanted to stop the treatment I was happy with it. I have sent several emails to them, and with no luck. I will be attaching some screenshots. I went online and noticed that a lot of people have been complaining because they have been having the same problem.Abruptly having their treatment stopped and not giving them any hope or an answer.Byte needs to do better because its not 2 dollars that the treatment cost. Its about 2k.I am hoping that you can help me get my refund back, because I have tried the nice and kind way, I even waited on them to see if they would send out the remaining of my treatment but nothing. I dont know what is going on with them.Please, help me out, help us out because I know I am not the only one that probably has contacted you for help. Maybe we should have gone to a normal doctor to seek treatment but this looked easier and comfortable. But sometimes when something seems too good to be true this tends to happen.       All of my aligners cracked through normal usage as per the instructions, and I am now requesting a refund. Due to the faulty product and the cracking of my aligners my teeth have shifted even worse than they were when I began this process with byte. Under no circumstance should I not be given a refund. This has been an absolutely traumatic situation with byte that has resulted in my teeth being in worse condition than before and me needing to seek additional dental assistance, all because bytes product broke and cracked. Byte has been absolutely unable to resolve my conflict and as such I am requesting a refund.

      Tell us about your problem:My wife purchased an aligner treatment from Byte in August 2023, including the Byte Impression Kit, All-Day Aligners, and a 5-Year Protection Plan. The total cost exceeded $2,700. However, the service was abruptly discontinued, leaving her treatment incomplete. This was not only a breach of the original promise for full orthodontic alignment, but also a significant detriment to her dental health.Due to the interrupted treatment, her teeth have become misaligned again and she has experienced discomfort, leading to multiple dentist visits. The 5-Year Protection Plan, which Byte charged $749 for, has become effectively useless, as she never received the completed treatment to protect in the first place.Weve attempted to resolve this, but communication from Byte has completely stopped. With the company now appearing inactive, we are left with no support, no refund, and no resolution. Were seeking a full refund for the treatment and the protection plan, given the failure to deliver the service as sold.Timeline:July 6, 2023 Byte Impression Kit ordered (#*******) $14.95 August 1, 2023 All-Day Aligners ordered (#*******) $1,999.00 August 25, 2023 Protection Plan ordered (#*******) $749.00 Service became unresponsive and ultimately ceased in early 2024, leaving the treatment incomplete.We are hoping the BBB can help facilitate a resolution and refund, as this has impacted her dental health and represents a significant financial loss for an undelivered service.

      They messed up my teeth, gave me crowding and an overbite and refuses to give me a full refund for not solving anything for me dental wise. On top of the refund process taking months

      On 4/4/2023 I purchased aligners with Byte that cost $1999. Not only did the aligners cause me immense pain and discomfort but they were made poorly and didnt fit correctly. After some time I stopped my treatment and reached out about the problems I had. Nothing was done and it seemed like the issue was not going to get resolved. After a while because I started university I stopped pressing the issue, but then i saw a message that the company was facing some issues and wouldnt be sending anymore aligners out. I only ever received my first shipment and first half of the treatment I payed for. I reached out and requested a refund because I didnt get the second half of the purchase and because they didnt help fix my teeth. They told me no because according to them my treatment is finished but this makes no sense because I never even received the second half of the aligners! So what I want move my forward is my refund from the company due to not giving me what was purchased and the low quality aligners that did not deliver results. Thank you.

      I got these aligned 06/23/2024 and hadnt used them until January 10th and the 22nd that night I used them then after 12 hours I took them off and it had chipped both my front teeth. I tried getting a refund because they werent working and they chipped my teeth and they are not helpful at all I cant ever get in contact with them except through email or text and even then they dont help. I want a refund because I dont want to pay for something Im not even going to use Im scared to use them now.

      I am writing to formally dispute a transaction and file a complaint regarding a purchase made from Byte, a direct-to-consumer aligner company, on June 21, 2021. I financed this purchase using Affirm under Loan ID: ************ June 21, 2021, I purchased Byte's clear aligner treatment plan with the understanding that I would receive professional supervision and a complete orthodontic service.Despite my attempts to proceed with the treatment, I was unable to complete it due to safety concerns and lack of adequate clinical support from Byte.Efforts to contact Bytes customer service for support or resolution were unsuccessful, leaving me with an incomplete and now unsafe treatment ******* a result, I paid for a medical service that was never fully delivered or safely executable.Bytes promotional and contractual materials stated that there was no time limit on how long I had to complete treatment, making the current situation even more unreasonable and financially unfair.Given the rising concerns regarding the safety and regulation of direct-to-consumer orthodontic products including public warnings from the *************************** and regulatory scrutiny by the *** I was advised by a licensed dental professional not to continue treatment due to the risk to my oral health.Due to these serious safety concerns, I will also be filing a formal complaint with the **** **************************** (***) to report Byte's failure to deliver a safe and medically appropriate treatment.I respectfully request:A full or partial refund for the incomplete treatment, and/or Resolution through Affirm, including cancellation of the financing agreement or a refund of payments made under Loan ID TY44-ZS7W.Supporting Information:Name: ****** ******** ***************************************** to Byte customer support (documented and available)Reason for dispute: Failure to provide the complete and medically safe orthodontic service as advertised.

      Ordered aligners from *********** BYTE,. sent them a payment for $2099 on May 24th 2024. A month or so later they said they could not complete the aligners until we had impressions from our dentist so they said they were sending a refund and we have never received anything in a year.Tried to contact multiple time with no response from them
