1 starNot user friendly. My credit background had lots of mistake and missing information. My credit came back inaccurate. Also, the informations I entered (phone number) for my current landlord and references turned out to be wrong because it automatically added a 1 in front AFTER I entered it. The whole has been nothing short of a nightmare and could cost me my dream place.Review fromJohn M

My spouse and I decided we will forgo any rental requiring RentSpree in the future. It's appalling the vast amount of private information that was either required to be input or sensitive documents uploaded by RentSpree. We mostly completed the applications and got our very good credit score, but were reminded that W-2s and Government Issued ID among other sensitive documents were required to be uploaded. It seems like a data breach nightmare.Also, RentSpree's "privacy" policy is wide open. In the section "How We Use Your Information," well down in the bullet points under "We primarily use the personal information you provide..." contains the following."- To provide property management companies, agents, landlords, other property professionals and other users of our Service with the ability to offer you other products and services that may be of interest to you,"So, it seems they'll provide personal information to anyone that will pay. We opted not to upload sensitive documents and complete RentSpree's application. Happily the landlord understood our concerns and has proceeded with us. But, we found the RentSpree process terribly invasive.

Rentspree is a user privacy nightmare that recklessly harvests way more data then it needs to verify a tenant. I feel violated by Rentspree's aggressive data collection scheme. Its only a matter of time before all of that private user data is hacked or even sold to a 3rd party for extra revenue, assuming Rentspree isn't already doing that, but they probably are because private user data is a big business these days.RentSpree, Inc.

Rent Spree was extremely helpful for me for rental units I have. It does it all and I could even upload my lease to the system and incorporate it for sending out and electronic signature. This is an extremely helpful tool. I only had 1 email to customer service for help on something and they replied within a couple hours and solved my problem - which was something I did wrong not a fault of the system.RentSpree, Inc.

Disappointed that the background check did not catch THREE serious criminal charges for one of the applicants. Had I not done my own research online I would have accepted a felon in my first rental. Definitely do not trust the background check from RentSpree and will most likely not use it going forward.RentSpree, Inc.
