    They auto-renew annual memberships with zero refunds even if you cancel the first day of the new year. They say they let you know by email, but they send many emails most of which go to a spam folder. There is little value to having a membership--do not do it, you'll be caught in their cycle.

    So discouraged... this company charged me for an auto-renewal . I acknowledge that I made an error, however, I asked for a courtesy to be at least partially refunded for the auto renewal and was met with canned responses on how "all sales were final " and that the "system would not allow for refunds". So discouraged. I advise using any other DNA testing site with better customer service.

    I think this company is a fraud. I shipped my results back on April 13,2023 and they said that they still did not receive my kit it now 5/17/23. This is the second time something happen to my kit. The first kit they said that it concentration was not high enough, so they sent a second kit replacement and now that kit has not been received. Looking at my tracking# my kit still never was delivered to the lab. Something is totally wrong because they received my first kit in 5 days. So when contacted 23andme by email, ****** said that the Post Offices handles there packages different. I stated it should not take is long very suspicious. This company needs to be investigated on their operation.

    Feb returned kit. April and STILL NO REFUND. told 3 times it will be refunded. No refund 2 months later

    Was charged for service not wanted. Cancelled membership after being randomly charged with out notification. Attempted to get a refund and told me I wont be getting 1.

    23andme took a total of 8 weeks to get my results back, after i sent them in. After receiving my results, i notice they are incorrect. I knew my ancestry, this was mostly just for fun/deeper research. 23andme refuses to refund me due to their 30 day refund policy, but it took well over 30 days to get my results, how was I supposed to know they would be incorrect? I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. It seems their emails are bot-generated, and when i called their phone number I was told a manager would get back with me within the next 24 hours. this was a week ago, and no one has contacted me.

    23andme company is totally c*** and a scam because they couldn't find my father's DNA results just because my father wasn't on the record. They only added my mother's DNA results and distant relatives, but they are really idiots because I didn't ask for my mother's side or didn't input about my mother. I had only input my father's brief info I only know his first name and birthdate of **** that is it. They still requested the full info. They are extremely ridiculous for not caring or nor listen. That is ******** because I tried the other two companies MyHeritage and Ancestry did my father's DNA results with the same brief info but no records. But except Ancestry will try to find a record of my father in any other ways. They refused to give me a full refund because my kit had already been used for the process. How am I supposed to know after processing the kit without DNA results unavailable!!!!! They robbed my money ****** and took advantage of me! I am so ****** and can't wait to tell and warn everyone about c*** 23andme.

    Inefficient and unhelpful ****************. I just needed to reset my password. 5 emails, 2 phone calls and no resolution. Ridiculous. And they want my help completing questionnaires. Nope.

    I just wanted to change an email address for an account I already open. I wasn't able to log into the account at all, and was lock out. I contact customer care via email, and sent them a picture ID to an employee named Mikyala to establish my identity. I didn't get a response back, and my issues weren't resolved. I regret purchasing a ***. I request a refund, and no one respond back. I will not do business with this company, and I will definitely warn my family, and friends.
