    The worst company! I opened up my account August 20th started taking payment. First payment of ***** put on hold for fraudulent activity. Send payment ***** went through released to me. 3rd payment ***** went through. Next morning I wake up got a email need to verify identity. I sent everything in 5 minutes later get a email my account is being closed (cant support my business because it is high risk)!!!! Are you serious??? Email them they have been holding a payment for 12 days now all of a sudden they close my account will not open it back up or send my payments to me either!! Will refund in 5 days they say. I rented my air bnb to lady that is going for training at *********. So how she paid me was a government travel credit card. I think they have messed up this time. It will be a lawsuit and I will be first on list. Just holding my ****** no I dont think so.

    Stripe is in direct violation of the 1990 A.D.A. ******** disability act.I am hearing impaired and cannot understand ******** the operator. So I asked for a manager to simply email me about the fact that they are about to forfeit all my funds because they blamed "qoura" for no payout showing.When the whole time I told stripe I have screen shots showing STRIPE was saying they do not have my tax information which is not true.I lose all my money in 60days November ******* not use stripe..there is a reason there is no DIRECT 1800 NUMBER NOT DIRECT EMAIL.I asked ******** for a manager and she hung up on me and the number for stripe they called from won't receive incoming calls.

    Stripe is a terrible company. If you are a business looking to grow, avoid using them at all cost. They will threaten to close your account, ask for information that has no bearing on anything dealing with them, drag any account review process out and seem to engage in vindictive behavior. Do not use this company and avoid them at all cost.

    Stripe closed my account because of unauthorized charges, however i didnt have any on my account , instead they claimed funds would be returned upon the fifth day of closed account, however they purposely left my account , and will not refund the customer , nor release funds to me. I understand companies have terms and conditions but they are obviously manipulating the terms just to hold the money, and float it. Never trust this company very misleading they dont even have phone support, plus chat doesnt even work either , go check. Never works point you to email , where someone wont actually help you. i fell a classaction coming.

    I do not recommend using the Stripe platform based on my experience. I signed up for a Stripe account on August 1 with my personal information while in the process of legalizing my pet boarding business. I received an email on August 1 confirming that I could now accept payments. After performing a test transaction successfully, I had a client make a payment for services rendered. However, since then, the payment has been stuck in their dashboard.Immediately after receiving the payment, I was informed that identity verification was required. I promptly submitted the requested ID verification, but was then notified that my account would be closed due to high risk associated with my business. Despite multiple emails requesting a refund for my client since August, I received no response. After several more emails last week and additional threats to post on the Better Business Bureau, I finally received a response today. They mentioned they would begin an investigation, which could take up to 15 days, not including an additional 5-10 days for the refund to be processed. The money has already been held for three weeks.This has been the most frustrating payment platform I have encountered in my 10 years as a business owner. The lack of responsiveness, absence of a contact phone number, and overall experience make it clear that Stripe is unreliable. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone.

    I tried to setup a stripe account to start a subscription-based newsletter. During the setup process, the newsletter website tried to charge my stripe account before it was fully setup. Because of this, my account was flagged as a bad account and I have never been able to get my setup. This is only a guess that I have because Stripe customer support is unavailable and never responds to my emails. They would say my account is not setup, but refuse to answer further questions. They were the least helpful customer support I have ever interacted with. I get the idea that Stripe have such a grip on the market that they do not care about small businesses, or anyone really. I will never work with Stripe ever again because I do not trust them to resolve issues.

    Stripe appears to be a scam operation. They don't have any actual live support as they have pre-prepared canned answers that repeat in a loop if you try emailing them. They claim 24/7 phone support for their customers, but as a customer of their services, I can confirm this is a lie. They will decide to freeze payouts without warning, after you've been accepting payments from customers. They say they do this to cover any refunds and disputes, but then they freeze your ability to hand out refunds to your customer. So what's the point? I think the point is so that they can steal your funds and only pay you back when it best suits their finances. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS

    This company has been holding my funds way past their reserved dates of 60 days. Then, when I needed to issue a refund, they took from the reserve when I issued my customer their actual funds so there was absolutely no need to do that. On top of that, I tried doing an instant payout twice and they never paid me stating that it's an issue with my bank. My bank said there was never a payment! I also got a message saying my funds will be released to me in 2124. EXCUSE ME?! I'd be long gone and so will my children's children!! Just a complete and total rip off! Small businesses need their money the most. It's exspensive running a business so every payment costs. Meanwhile they'll keep your funds until they feel like they want to release it. How is this even legal???
