Account: 83-0002558 4 The company erroneously delivered an extra trash can to my condo in Dec 2021. I did not request one, nor did I know why it was there. A day later I received a phone call that they had delivered it to the wrong address. I was told to put it out when normal trash delivery was picked up the following week (Jan 2022) and it would be retrieved. It was NOT picked up, only emptied, though nothing was in it. I called a second time, told the same thing, and got same result. Finally on 3rd call, put out on a different day and the extra can was finally picked up.Since that time, I have been charged on 3 statements (Jan-Mar 2022, Apr-Jun 2022, and now Jul-Sep 2022) for that extra trash can - which I never requested and has long since been returned. I have called each time I received this extra charge -- and was told it would be removed from my ****. In the April call -- I was told it was corrected and I requested/would receive a check for the overcharge. I never received a check, NOR has the extra charge been removed. Same erroneous change in the July statement. I have called at least 5-6 times. **************** has been pleasant, but nothing has been corrected. I am sick of paying extra $$ for their mistake; and cannot seem to get this corrected. At this point, they owe me over $60. I want 2 things: remove this extra trash can charge from future bills; and refund me for the overcharge. On attached bills: Jan-Mar 2022 billing stmt: charges for $19.80 and $6.29 are erroneous.Apr-Jun 2022 billing stmt: charge for $19.80 is erroneous.Jul-Sep 2022 billing stmt: charge for $20.55 is erroneous.Please help.Business Response

After review, it has been determined that this customer was being incorrectly charged for 1 additional solid waste cart. As a result, credits have been issued to the account for the timeframe in which the cart was being billed. The customer should receive a statement no later than 8/1/22 showing that the credit was added. CR&R apologizes for this billing error and appreciates this loyal customer's patience and understanding while it was resolved.

Absolutely HORRIBLE. This company needs new management. They are not timely or diligent in their pickup schedule, and they don't maintain their equipment. One of their trucks is leaking liquid waste all over our community. Its disgusting and unsanitary and unsightly.Business Response

On various occasions the trash truck has not shown up on a Monday where it was not a holiday. Their trucks leak oil and seep other fluids. I live right next to a trash bin and the truck leaks right in front of my mobile home it leaks oil and seeps. I call the service department and it takes several days for a cleaning crew to come out and by the time they arrive the oil has dried. When the crew arrives, they are not able to clean it up sufficiently well enough without peeling the asphalt. On 7/12/2022 I made a call as the garbage truck did not show up on Monday 7/11/2022 when they were contracted to do so. They finally showed up on 7/12/2022 very late in the evening and when I told them to take the garbage that was left outside the trash enclosure, they said that they take whatever fits in the bin and left and behaved in a very unprofessional manner.Business Response

Regarding fluid/oil spills, CR&R takes every report of a spill very seriously. A cleaning crew is typically dispatched within 24 hours to investigate and clean all spills. This was the case for the reported spill on this customer's property.
CR&R **************** spoke with this customer on 7/12/22 and the service issue was escalated to a Supervisor. After investigation, it was determined by Operations that the waste disposal on 7/11/22 was delayed to 7/12/22. The driver responsible for the route was able to service the area on 7/12/22. CR&R strives not to delay any service, but there are delays that are unforeseen and unavoidable. That was the case in this instance. CR&R sincerely apologizes for the delay and will monitor this route to ensure that all waste is collected in a timely and efficient manner going forward.

I ordered a dumpster which they delivered on time. I've called four times now requesting it get picked up. They continue to tell me a date they will come but they never do. We've had the dumpster outside our house for two weeks now waiting for it to be switched out as we just moved to our house in May. I am currently waiting for them to return my call once again as they didn't show up yesterday as promised again. I ended up having to pay somebody to remove all of the boxes and trash from the side of my yard because CR&R just won't switch out the dumpsters for us.Business Response

CR&R **************** has been in contact with this customer regarding their temporary rental bin. The customer notified CR&R that they did not receive a requested dump on their bin that was prescheduled. After investigation, it was determined that the customer's request was delayed due to a vehicle mechanical malfunction. The customer was given a discount of 25% as a result of the delay. The customer then cancelled their request to dump the bin, but CR&R did apply the discount regardless and credited the customer. The rental waste bin was removed on 7/13/22. CR&R sincerely apologizes for the miscommunication and delay that the customer experienced. CR&R invites the customer to contact the **************** department if they have any other inquiries.

Date of Transaction: We requested the service the week of July 5th to July 9th The Amount of Money we paid the business: We paid $10 for this garbage pickup service.What the business committed to providing us: The business committed to picking up the bags on the next trash day, which was TODAY 7/9/2022. What the nature of the dispute is: The dispute is that we observed the GARBAGE PICKUP TRUCK not picking up the ten bags of trash that we were told he would pick up. We approached this individual, and he stated that NO ONE told him to pick up the garbage bags and refused to pick up the bags from the front of the residence.Whether or not the business has tried to resolve this problem: At the time, NO. After approaching the garbage truck pick-up worker and he refusing to pick up the ten bags of trash, we felt that CR&R had let us down, and now we were stuck with ten bags of trash sitting in front of our residence.Account/Order/Tracking Number: The account number should be ********** 7. I Called CR&R ahead of time to schedule couple big items to be picked-up. I was scheduled for 06/29/2022. which did not show up but I received an automation phone call that service at 4:50 PM that "service could not be completed and will be postponed to the day after" which is 6/30/2022, Even on 6/30.20220 I called CR&R in the morning and I was told, they will be picked up for sure today. Again on 06/30/2022 did not show up and at the same time, another automation phone call received with the same message that "service could not be completed and will be postponed to the day after" Please note, there are big items which is not easy to take them in and out every single day just because of very poor service. What I really dislike about it is that this automation Phone call is receiving just before closing time at 4:50PM everyday, It seems CR&R is not going to provide service and instead, it put you on automation phone call everyday at closing time,I NOTICED EVERYONE IS UNHAPPY WITH THE SERVICE OF THIS COMPANY , GO AND READ TEH REVIEW ON GOOGLE.ITS ONE STAR!CR&R can go and check how many times I talked to representatives for this service ( If it really records the call for quality purposes)Business Response

I am reporting this business again! Last week, 6/21/22 they failed to collect my trash from their approved dumpster at the approved disposal location. After this reporting this to the BBB, I was contacted by the company and was informed they would "tag" the bin to find out what the issues were and why this happened. This never happened, the company just came out and did the job they were originally supposed to do, which is dump my dumpster bin. This week, 6/28/22, they came again and failed to dump the trash from my dumpster bin. This happened to my bin as well as my neighbor's bin to the West of me. We know they came by as our bins' lids were closed and after they came through, the bin lids were open, but the trash was still inside the bin. THIS HAS GOT TO STOP! We are paying the rates for service you are requesting and you are failing to hold up your end of this deal. This is creating a health issue. Trash is being kept in the alley ways, which is inviting pests and rodents to gather.Business Response

In regard to the report of a missed waste service, CR&R has determined the following. After investigation, the driver responsible for dumping the waste cart did perform the service. Items inside the waste cart became wedged in the container and this prevented the material from flowing. A driver returned on 6/30/22 and completed the service. We live in **************** . Our trash service is weekly, on Tuesday, for regular trash, recyclables and yard waste (three separate bins). Over the past several weeks, our weekly service has been very poor - first recycables bin never been pickedans the yard bins in the same time they picked up every body eles bins, .I called CR&R many time ,They say they will pickup the recycle bin next day but they never delivered in the words CR&R has a contract through my City o; I pay for CR&R service evry month . For the past two weeks this vendor does not ensure the trash is collected from the bins. After the first week, I saw that the lid was opened, but trash still remained. I made sure the items were not "stuck" in the bin, and confirmed they were not. The following week, I again, placed my same trash can out for pick up. Once again the lid was open, but trash remained. I have tried to call the vendor and I am left on a never ending hold waiting to speak to someone. This has to be resolved!Business Response

This customer did contact the *************************** to raise a concern about the waste container being missed for 2 weeks in a row. Our Route Manager investigated the situation, but was unable to find a reason for the failed service. A driver will be returning to the customer's property on Wednesday, June 22nd to complete the service. Prior to this incident, there have been no issues reported with service on the account since it was created in June of 2021. CR&R will resolve this and ensure that the service is monitored going forward. We appreciate the patience and understanding of this loyal customer.

The only reason why I was contacted was because of this complaint. I spent 1 hour on hold waiting for their customer so called service to pick up. I finally gave up and chose an option for them to call me back. I chose this same option the week before and they never called back. Today, after filing the complaint, they contacted me, but there were no answers as to why this service was not completed. They say they will be out tomorrow to figure out the problem. Time will tell. They would not be ok with me partially paying them as a result of their neglect to complete this service for two weeks in a row. I strongly believe the only reason they have responded was due to this complaint and that's completely unprofessional. I will be calling the City of Bellflower tomorrow to log another complaint as this service is contracted through the city. Their service is horrible.Business Response

After an investigation by the Route Manager, it was determined that the resident's waste collection cart had some plastic material wedged inside of it. When the driver tipped the cart over on the service day, the material was not able to fall out. A 2nd driver went out this morning (6/22/22) and discovered the issue with the material inside of the cart. The driver was able to manipulate the material so that it fell out when the cart was tipped over into the truck ******. The cart was confirmed as empty by the driver immediately after. As a standard practice, CR&R encourages all customers to make sure that their carts are loaded so that the material is able to move around freely. CR&R considers this matter to be closed and appreciates the patience and understanding of this loyal customer .
